The Morning Rant

talking ape.jpg

So the usual hate-Trump skunks have been boo-hooing this week because the Golden Scalp Weasel booted the loathsome Vindman twins and fired or reassigned a bunch of Obama holdovers from the NSC. Not only are some bad apples gone, but the actual number of NSC members has been reduced quite a bit. They're mad about that, too. Because, presumably, the Deep State is only supposed to expand, never contract.

My question is, why wasn't this done a long time ago?

I think Trump needs to compile a list of *every single* Obama appointee, and either ask for their resignations or fire their asses, no exceptions. This "resistance" bullshit has gone on far too long.

And the anonymous guy who wrote that stupid "we are the resistance" piece for the NY Times? When they find out who he is, they should consider charging him with treason.

Treason? Yeah, I said treason.

What is legimate resistance? That is, if you don't like what's going on in the country, if you don't like who's running the country, what can you do? Well, all sorts of things, actually: you can vote. You can organize voting drives. You can even run for office yourself, or contribute to the campaign of another. You can encourage others to do the same.

These are all legitimate ways to effect political change.

But you can't assassinate government officials, you can't blow stuff up, you can't send anthrax or other toxins through the mail. You can't order 400 pizzas to be sent to the Republican Senators' offices, and you can't spike the DNC's water cooler with LSD (although that would explain a lot). You can't organize your own army and conduct your own military operations which intent is to overthrow the elected government of the Unites States. Such are illegitimate means of resistance. Engaging in them makes you a domestic enemy that our military swears an oath to protect the constitution from. Included in this would be acts of deliberate sabotage, such as masquerading as a loyal staff member inside the government to impede it and keep it from accomplishing its goals.

If the "resistance" guy doesn't like Trump, he needs to get the hell out and actively work for the other team. What he's doing is the bureaucratic equivalent of dynamiting a power station of dumping sugar into the gas tanks of supply vehicles.

As I've said in a previous rant, Trump's biggest letdown has been with personnel, and his failure to thoroughly clean house. I think he may have started out kind of naive, but he should've wised up by now. They all need to go, every last one of those SOBs and the minimal requirement of getting on the "to be fired" list is having been appointed by Obama. Yes, you might lose some people who are just trying to do their jobs, but they have "the resistance" to thank for that. And you know, in the private sector, layoffs happen all the time, and for far more trivial reasons. Happened to me all the time. So cry me a river.

Oh, and whatever security clearances these stunning and brave "resistance" clowns have should be revoked upon departure. It's time for Trump to take the gloves off. No more mister nice guy. Trump needs to release his inner Trump.

As to the content, I suspect that the reason PDJT is only now getting into the "You're FIRED" phase of presidency is all the investigations and impeachment and horseshit that have been going on. if he HAD cleaned house like he needed to, they would have used that as basis of "OBSTRUCTION" like they used him going to court as obstruction.

71 Best In 'n Out order:

Double double.
Extra-toasty bun.
Mustard fried.
Grilled onions.
Add chilies.
Cut in half.

Cut in half is key - after they cut it, they wrap each half separately. This way the half you aren't eating first stays a little warmer and neater until you get to it.

80 As I've said in a previous rant, Trump's biggest letdown has been with personnel, and his failure to thoroughly clean house.

He didn't have free rein to do this imo. One of the biggest concerns to me when an outsider took over was that the derp state would engineer a high profile fuckup by having social security checks get delayed or something of that nature. The Golden Scalpweasel was under attack from Day 1, with none of the 100 day honeymoon that his predecessors enjoyed, and had to survey the lay of the terrain before wielding the meat cleaver. And then Mueller and shampeachment...

Posted by: Captain Hate at February 12, 2020 11:28 AM (Yp/pV)

81 My question is, why wasn't this done a long time ago?"

As Jackstraw and other, including myself, have been trying to point out for close to 3 years now, this was *why* getting through the investigations was so important, and why it was SO important to play out the Shampeachment until it was finally over.

As long as the Mueller investigation was going, *any* move against any employee by Trump was potentially an Obstruction of Justice Count, for trying to intimidate witnesses. (Note that is one of the charges used to crucify Roger Stone) THAT is what the Dems were trying to tempt Trump into doing the entire time, but he saw through them and never did it. And THEN the Mueller report fell apart, but within a month of so Schiff and Nadler whipped up Shampeachment, which brought back the Process Crime jeopardy all over again. (and they even included this as one of their Impeachment counts, even though Trump had given them nothing.)

And why not fight it directly? Because Trump knew that he could never really trust the Senate not to stab him in the back - look at Mitt Romney for evidence of that. Now, it turned out that Dems played their hand so badly that the Senate stayed with Trump, but he couldn't know that going on.

Now - as Jackstraw keeps pointing out - we are finally in a Post-Impeachment, Post-Investigation world, and Trump is now Unbound.

And that is why Things are Happening. Finally!

93 A guess at why they didn't take action sooner?

Maybe part of it was that they needed to determine the extent of the team coup infiltration as well as ensure that they had all of the evidence for prosecution. One thing "Q" has said repeatedly is something like "FISA warrants go both ways" - indicating Trump's team could have been snagging all sorts of calls, emails, non-traditional forms of communication (e.g., through internet-connected game consoles), etc.) as they collaborated to burry Flynn, Stone, Trump, and the others. Chances are they have a much better idea of who is involved vs. a housecleaning on day 1.

At least that's what I am praying for. These people need to not just be fired, but prosecuted.

we hope Trump rips off the shirt and exposes the cape and big S on his shirt in his second term. But the globalist forces have been granted trillions via easy monetary policy. I knew it was somebody, somebody I've seen all over MeTV. I was zeroing in on her trying to remember the title of one of those episodes, but too late.

Her real name was Tula Ellise Finklea, born in 1921. She died in 2008, 86 years old.

She was a hoofer, and got her big break with Singin' In the Rain.

Here's he dancing with Gene Kelly:

157 "I think he may have started out kind of naive, but he should've wised up by now. "

That would be because you aren't covered by a specific law, the Pendleton Act, which prohibits your being fired "for political motivations". They are.

I really wish that people who think that Trump is dumb or weak willed or whatever bu!!$h!t passes through their neurons would educate themselves on the legal environment involved. Don't like it? Either talk to Congress or start shooting the ba$tards, because those are the options.

161 Cyd Charisse was probably the greatest dancer ever put on film. I recall an interview with her on TCM, in which she said she didn't want to stop making movies, or stop dancing, but the Movie Execs of the day felt that women over 40 had to be cast as mothers or some other kind of elderly, frumpish part. So she got booted and forced to retire from anything big, although she did a lot of TV parts well into the 70's.

162 1) Issue discrete, measurable directive to the top divisional executive. Directive is to be counter to conventional deep state wisdom.
2) Wait two days for directive to be executed.
3) If it isn't, fire the executive and promote his subordinate to "acting" executive.
4) Repeat until the rot is gone.

170 I am a lifelong ultra conservative. I have been following the political scene and the democrat calamity quite closely these past few months. It is really quite obvious that Sanders is going to get the nomination. And, with the way trump has been governing, and the perilous state of the economy, it is also obvious that trump has quite the uphill battle to win in Nov, and it is unlikely he will win. Now, I have been studying this Sanders guy for many years, and one thing has become quite clear. Although some may want to throw the label "socialist" or even "communist" at Mr Sanders. And, heck, he even uses it himself at times! Haha! But Bernie is actually very moderate as far as communists are concerned, you might even go so far as to call him a conservative communist. So, come Election Day, if the weather is bad, or you are late for work, or the lines are long, don't fret. Go ahead and skip the vote this year. Whether Bernie wins or trump wins, one thing is clear- America wins!

I have written the long version of what happened a couple of times previously, but the short version is that Trump trusted Chris Christie to do this for him - and then a week or so after he was elected, he found out that Christie had packed all of the lists with Chris Christie stooges and disciples, who were going to let Christie (who thought he would be Attorney General) tell them what to do.

And that's when Christie's public career finally came to a full stop. But then Trump was left with just a few weeks before inauguration with no transition team at all. So Rince Priebus and Steve Bannon started fighting to see which of them could get the most friends on staff. It was all an epic clusterfark.

I visited Culver City for the 50th anniversary of U.N.C.L.E. event in 2014. On Sunday, I rented a car and drove up through Venice to Santa Monica, then up the Pacific Coast Highway past Malibu, and back again. Some Philip Marlowe territory, there. In Venice I spotted a homeless guy with a cardboard sign: "Spaceship Broken, Please Help." If he'd been on my side of the road, I'd have given him a buck for the laugh.

One of my strongest memories is of seeing not one but two Mercedes 300SL convertibles, which were last made in 1962 or so. One black, one red. And not parked but being driven fast on the PCH, the way those cars were intended to be driven. Nice.

Astaire vs. Kelly story, told by Debbie Reynolds of the making of Singin' in the Rain.

Gene Kelly berated her one time. Here was this rank amateur thrown in with the likes of Gene Kelly and Donald O'Conner.

Here's one of Donald's best scenes:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SND3v0i9uhE

He was laid up in bed for 4 days after doing that. Wore his ass out.

Debbie Reynolds was thrown in with those two and expected to keep up.

Fred Astaire found her crying and gave her advice and bucked her up to do the job,

This sequence, Good Morning, is one of those:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LN8parxJtkc

Debbie said it took them for early morning to 11PM to do that, and her feet were bleeding.

That was not happenstance. Male dancers were considered sissy
back in the day (and still are in old school circles) at best. Flaming
poofters at worse.

That pissed Gene Kelley off, and so he set out to

create a very manly dancing style. He succeeded.

To me, Kelly is a gymnast, not a dancer. Astaire was so, so smooth and elegant. No homo.

Actually, I think the proper charge would be sedition, which is inciting rebellion.

Treason would require that they levy War (capitalized) or aid/comfort foreign enemies.

350 FYI
Access to classified information and high security jobs require more than just a security clearance. There is also a thing called 'human reliability score' as well as a requirement to 'need to know'. Being terminated with cause is grounds for lowering ones HR score as well as jeopardizing the renewal of ones security clearance. Security clearances must be renewed on a regular basis. HR scores are continuous. A need to know is always a criteria.
A poor HR score is like having a flaky employee, who you can trust to keep a secrete, but you can't trust to show up to work. Guys with bad PTSD get low HR scores and lose their clearance.
These people no longer have a need to know. That "Trumps all else (please excuse the pun). If there should be deemed a possibility of them being hired into a position where the position has a need to know, then their clearance and HR score is considered before placing them in that position. They would fail the HR score and within 3 years their clearance would expire unless there is some agency that expressly asserts their need to continue their clearance.

Find out who the agency is asserting their need to be cleared, what the basis if for their need to know and drop their HR score for being unreliable.
Job done.

Posted by: Toni at February 12, 2020 01:07 PM (ppbIJ)

353 Okay, here's my prediction:

The Dems decide that they ain't gonna win in November. So . . . why not Bernie? It keeps his (mostly young) supporters inside the reservation. He loses to Trump and gets shuffled off to the retirement home with the stink of defeat on him, clearing the way in 2024 for a more acceptable Establishment candidate.

Even though they do expect to lose, I also predict a LOT of Democrat noise about "voter suppression" and "foreign interference" in the 2020 election. That'll get their base nice and fired up for the midterms, and may even allow them to sneak in more anti-democracy measures under the guise of "protecting democracy."

And if you have a House and Senate led by Paul Ryan and McConnell, with a John McCain and Jeff Flake in it, they'll "reach across the aisle" and confirm your impeachment. because you will have given them an ACTUAL crime to base it on.

Trump has actually been extremely law abiding compared to his predecessors, because he's smart enough to realize that he's a CEO with a hostile board that can manipulate the share count to ignore the stockholders, and remove him at any time. You aren't that smart.
