Barbara, Fenelon’s congregant, is experiencing positive results from experimental cancer treatment. Is feeling better and was able to come to church again after long absence. NaughtyPine’s Mother had all her cancer removed. Dad’s aneuryism surgery went well, bruised and sore but doing better

Pooky and Pooky’s girl have had a major setback in the process to become adoptive parents. Pooky’s former therapist refused to sign the recommendation form, and now their social worker wants them to withdraw from the program. They ask for prayers as they try to figure out how to move forward. ibguy requests prayers for healing for Jenna, the daughter of a friend and colleague, a wonderful young mother with a very serious case of MS. ibguy also requests prayers for healing and a return to childhood for Elena, the grand-niece of a co-worker. Elena is a 2 ½ year old girl with serious cancer/tumor, who has been in a hospital most of her life.
Job Requests, job issues and financial Issues: Ralph has new baby daughter but was downsized from job. Is getting a BA in business but needs job so he can support his girl or a financial blessing for school. Hrothgar, sister-in-law is in serious debt, but H. cannot bail her out, but worries about her health and living conditons. He needs wisdom and strength as he deals with these matters ethically and practically. Kallisto needs a job. Insomniac waiting for news on job interview. Prayer that a door may be opened for new job. Donna&&&& was having job interviews. NaughtyPine needs resolution with some job issues. Anyone else looking for job.

I expect this to be only the beginning of the firings.

He didn't have free rein to do this imo. One of the biggest concerns to me when an outsider took over was that the derp state would engineer a high profile fuckup by having social security checks get delayed or something of that nature. The Golden Scalpweasel was under attack from Day 1, with none of the 100 day honeymoon that his predecessors enjoyed, and had to survey the lay of the terrain before wielding the meat cleaver. And then Mueller and shampeachment...

As Jackstraw and other, including myself, have been trying to point out for close to 3 years now, this was *why* getting through the investigations was so important, and why it was SO important to play out the Shampeachment until it was finally over.
As long as the Mueller investigation was going, *any* move against any employee by Trump was potentially an Obstruction of Justice Count, for trying to intimidate witnesses. (Note that is one of the charges used to crucify Roger Stone) THAT is what the Dems were trying to tempt Trump into doing the entire time, but he saw through them and never did it. And THEN the Mueller report fell apart, but within a month of so Schiff and Nadler whipped up Shampeachment, which brought back the Process Crime jeopardy all over again. (and they even included this as one of their Impeachment counts, even though Trump had given them nothing.)
And why not fight it directly? Because Trump knew that he could never really trust the Senate not to stab him in the back - look at Mitt Romney for evidence of that. Now, it turned out that Dems played their hand so badly that the Senate stayed with Trump, but he couldn't know that going on.
Now - as Jackstraw keeps pointing out - we are finally in a Post-Impeachment, Post-Investigation world, and Trump is now Unbound.
And that is why Things are Happening. Finally!

Maybe part of it was that they needed to determine the extent of the team coup infiltration as well as ensure that they had all of the evidence for prosecution. One thing "Q" has said repeatedly is something like "FISA warrants go both ways" - indicating Trump's team could have been snagging all sorts of calls, emails, non-traditional forms of communication (e.g., through internet-connected game consoles), etc.) as they collaborated to burry Flynn, Stone, Trump, and the others. Chances are they have a much better idea of who is involved vs. a housecleaning on day 1.
At least that's what I am praying for. These people need to not just be fired, but prosecuted.

That's where we went 6 years ago. The zoo, Balboa Park, USS Midway and Point Loma tide pools were great. Hotel del and Coronado in general weren't quite what I remembered from the 70's.

I visited Culver City for the 50th anniversary of U.N.C.L.E. event in 2014. On Sunday, I rented a car and drove up through Venice to Santa Monica, then up the Pacific Coast Highway past Malibu, and back again. Some Philip Marlowe territory, there. In Venice I spotted a homeless guy with a cardboard sign: "Spaceship Broken, Please Help." If he'd been on my side of the road, I'd have given him a buck for the laugh.
One of my strongest memories is of seeing not one but two Mercedes 300SL convertibles, which were last made in 1962 or so. One black, one red. And not parked but being driven fast on the PCH, the way those cars were intended to be driven. Nice.

I like Five Guys. I went there after reading about it here.
What I did not like was the cost. Good grief. A double cheeseburger with bacon, some fries and a fountain drink was like $17, IIRC.

I was in San Diego in 2002 for the Super Bowl (a perk of the job I had at the time). Great place, great climate, not quite as cuckoo as LA, Silicon Valley, or San Fran. Great margaritas in Old Town if you're into that sort of thing.

Mrs. Muse's BIL, in his younger years, was a dead ringer for Tommy Lee Jones. Looked like him, talked like him. Strangers would come up to him in shopping malls and ask for his autograph. It was uncanny.

Access to classified information and high security jobs require more than just a security clearance. There is also a thing called 'human reliability score' as well as a requirement to 'need to know'. Being terminated with cause is grounds for lowering ones HR score as well as jeopardizing the renewal of ones security clearance. Security clearances must be renewed on a regular basis. HR scores are continuous. A need to know is always a criteria.
A poor HR score is like having a flaky employee, who you can trust to keep a secrete, but you can't trust to show up to work. Guys with bad PTSD get low HR scores and lose their clearance.
These people no longer have a need to know. That "Trumps all else (please excuse the pun). If there should be deemed a possibility of them being hired into a position where the position has a need to know, then their clearance and HR score is considered before placing them in that position. They would fail the HR score and within 3 years their clearance would expire unless there is some agency that expressly asserts their need to continue their clearance.
Find out who the agency is asserting their need to be cleared, what the basis if for their need to know and drop their HR score for being unreliable.
Job done.

The Dems decide that they ain't gonna win in November. So . . . why not Bernie? It keeps his (mostly young) supporters inside the reservation. He loses to Trump and gets shuffled off to the retirement home with the stink of defeat on him, clearing the way in 2024 for a more acceptable Establishment candidate.
Even though they do expect to lose, I also predict a LOT of Democrat noise about "voter suppression" and "foreign interference" in the 2020 election. That'll get their base nice and fired up for the midterms, and may even allow them to sneak in more anti-democracy measures under the guise of "protecting democracy."

Trump has actually been extremely law abiding compared to his predecessors, because he's smart enough to realize that he's a CEO with a hostile board that can manipulate the share count to ignore the stockholders, and remove him at any time. You aren't that smart.
