Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | RedState: Fox Permits Chris Wallace to Have His Daily Trump-Deranged "Outbursts" At Its Own PerilFor starters, it should be noted that Wallace was wrong. After he threw his little fit, in which he didn't even have the courage to look her in the eye while he made his demeaning "get your facts straight" comment, Pavlich proceeded to lay out a factual case about the Clinton impeachment (which was one of the aspects being compared). It is absolutely true that the witness interviews and "evidence" in the Clinton case were completed before they voted on the articles of impeachment because that’s exactly how things should go. In the case of Trump's impeachment, Democrats and their media allies want Republicans to save them from themselves. That was Pavlich's point. Wallace, instead of conceding that obviously true contention, is left stammering about "but Bolton" at the end. But past the factual aspects of the exchange, this is just no way to treat a colleague.... I don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes at Fox News right now, but Wallace's behavior is growing more hostile and out of line, both to his colleagues and those he interviews. I get that he wants Trump removed, but he's supposed to be a unbiased journalist, not Don Lemon defending resistance talking points.... [F]ox News allows these public outbursts with Wallace to continue at their own peril.Meanwhile -- Fox is pumping out absurdly biased polls as well. Look how far out of line Fox's poll on Impeachment is with everyone else. Comments(Jump to bottom of comments)1

Regarding Clarence Thomas a couple threads below, my former broker (he passed away recently) was very familiar with him (their wives were in school together) and told me that he was a nice guy, and apparently liked old vehicles. He told me a story of he and Thomas driving somewhere, and they stopped in a small town, and an old truck was parked in the street. There were some older guys sitting outside, and Clarence and the guys were yapping about the truck. The locals did not know who he was.

Some people from some mental health agency would come to his place every month and throw out all the garbage he refused to throw out, and then after they left he'd go out and take it out of the dumpsters and bring it back up 3 flights of stairs to his apartment. I did this years ago, and we lived in an apartment that had a short term lease agreement. We sold our first house in April, and lived in the apartment until September, when the new house was built. Stored a lot of stuff in a storage locker. It was sort of a mess, but it worked out. Try and find an apartment that will offer you a month to month lease. That may be hard, the place may be dodgy and it may cost more than you think. Posted by: Bozo Conservative....menace to society at January 28, 2020 01:18 PM (vcOmj) ========== That's one thing we're looking at. There's a house in another part of town that we could rent month to month. (Having 3 pets makes things that much more complicated.) But, it's nice to hear that this isn't that unusual. Problem with Fox is that they're in NYC, owned by the Murdoch boys. Talent is immersed in the NYC / Liberal-Leftist culture. They aim to please their peers in the "real" media. Whole leftist media complex is a bunch of preening virtue signaling lefty J-school graduates who are convinced they are smarter than everyone because they've "covered that" before. e.g: "Oh, I know about nuclear power because I've covered that." Has anyone dealt with a similar situation where you may need to sell a house months before a new house is finished?
) Have you asked for a deal on rent-back? That's really common (I'm in CA and own 3 properties) and is usually easy for the buyer. It's usually a win-win unless they're desperate. My next door neighbor lady did that with her place she sold about 3 months ago, she literally just moved. I'd ask your realtor to put that forward ASAP, you guys can negotiate something that works for you money wise, but do it before the buyers commit their other property if they haven't already. My situation at the moment is I'm selling one property (townhouse) and moving back into a larger home the tenants just vacated. The previous tenants trashed the place, so I really can't move in until some things are addressed (like replacing the year old carpet) and painting while it's still vacant. I'm leaving my furniture at the townhouse to help stage it, so basically I got a beat-up loveseat, a TV and an air mattress. Woo-hoo! I just moved into the townhouse a year ago. Too bad I haven't lived there 2 out of 5 years, so I'll be nailed for the capital gains. Not so the large house, but that one will continue to rise in value - it's been 7% in 3 months! South Bay Area is insane. Posted by: clutch cargo at January 28, 2020 01:24 PM (MocBh) 213

So, Dolley and I have come to the reality that our house is simply too small for four people, so we're looking at new builds in another part of town. Our favorite is something that hasn't even started construction and would take six months to build. We have no idea how we would manage staying in the area for Junior's school while selling our house, and providing money for a down payment to the construction company. Has anyone dealt with a similar situation where you may need to sell a house months before a new house is finished? Posted by: TheJamesMadison, 003 with a License to Kill at January How close to being ready to sell is the house you are in? How long does it take to sell in your neighborhood? you may be over worrying Posted by: not so at January 28, 2020 01:21 PM (HALdu) I can think of two ways to do this. First, if you list and sell your house before the new one is finished, see if you can rent a place for 6 months. Not optimal, but can work.Or, put offer down on the new house, with contingency clause that you have to sell your house first. May not work if the new house/development is very popular.Or, you can do a bridge loan on the value of your existing house to put on your new home. Listening to Rush earlier...
He was mentioning that liberals were taunting Trump for liking dictators. I like dictators. I like kings and emperors and potentates of all stripes. We've got a president in a representative democracy and it's working, but we're a special case. It takes a certain type of society with a history of individual independence to have the mindset to make this viable. Most other countries don't have a history that supports the exact same type of government we have. Some countries can do democracies, but there are a lot of less advanced nations that need a more authoritarian, single focus leader to make the trains run on time. At some point in the future, they may transition to a U.S. model government, but they just don't have what it takes right now. There's a lot to be said for stability and for a good number of the less advanced countries out there a dictator/absolute monarchy/something provides the framework that people can understand. Give us another 100 years or so to prove that our model works, then start pushing it on others who are ready to try. Posted by: jwest at January 28, 2020 01:30 PM (U6f/q) 247

But instead, its non-stop liberal and Never Trumpers on the various panels and other than Tucker and Hannity (who I can't really stand), Fox just seems to be trending liberal. >>>I don't want to sound naive, but why does the media HATE Donald Trump so much?
It's not Trump, it's deeper than that. These people are obsessed with thinking they're better. They hate normal middle America. Many of them originate from normal middle America which makes them hate it even more. Trump reminds them of the people they thought they had left behind forever. Remember that dumb whore Republican journalist back in 2008 who ripped especially hard on Palin even though the journalist herself was from Nowheresville and attended some penny ante, no account state school. But because she wrote for some newspaper (Washington Post?) she considered herself smarter and better. Also remember that these people were absolute dorks in high school, got stuffed in lockers regularly by Chad and Stacy, and never got past it. Here is the problem.
These "newsmen" do not influence people as much as they think they do anymore. They are running into upstart media personalities like Pavlich.. they are running into people who live in this stuff and realize what bullshit games are being played and they are whoa-fully undergunned. It used to be the Jon Stewart life... you had 30 writers, you just had to do the make up, the hair, and read the card - and people thought you knew what you were talking about. Now we just see you for the hacks you are. Carrying water for someone else, it's not about "news", its about your agenda. We don't care anymore, its about our agenda now. Suck it up.
