In our cafeteria, the impeachment was on for most of the days it happened (Schiff and Nadler). It was CNN for about a half hour total. It moved to C-SPAN almost immediately, and stayed there.
Halfway through Wednesday's hearings, it moved again - to cartoons, then to Gunsmoke. It has continued in that vein since then - not tuned in at all.

I think the impression of the hard left's grasp of reality may not be that accurate.
There will always be pockets of crazy, but even Tom Steyer, who started his campaign for president by calling for Trump's impeachment, doesn't talk about it anymore.
I think the monied energy for it is largely gone. AOC is bored by it.

YouTube relies on it. They use that system to destroy opponents, like the Obama White House was using lawsuits to force policy they couldn't get past the voters. They'd find an activist group, get them to sue, then lose the case and pay off with taxpayer money, thus establishing precedent and policy.
Youtube has buddies (or even employees) who go looking for this kind of technical complaint, use it as an excuse to shut down stuff they don't like, and then its up to YouTube whether to allow it or not and they always choose against the conservative.

Fox is the odd one out as the Fox Media and Entertainment Corp is shrinking by selling off assets such as Fox Entertainment but the WSJ along with Fox News keeps the Murdoch's-
In a smaller pond, Salem Communications owns most of the formal Right media outlets such as PJ Media, Radio talk shows, HotAir, Red State, etc. Weakly Standard which morphed into the Bulwark, the Examiner, Beacon, are all funded by oligarchs which are not particularly, if at all, conservative. National Review turned to non-profit and adopted the views of its corporate donors giving them scraps such as Google. Drudge is now related to Google via advertising sales.
Essentially, the oligarchs are using the media as a loss leader to protect their other policy interests from being affected by politicians.
In such a media landfill, I advise finding individual sources of news and primary sources such as Ace that you find reliable over time, using links to aggregators such as JJ Sefton's morning report.
Foreign sources can also be useful sources of news once you screen out the obligatory shots at Americans. Be prepared however, to drop sources as sometimes it is clear that they have been gotten to. While the Daily Caller which is also a non-profit and Breitbart which I have not investigated their ownership beyond it being connected to the Mercers, can be useful, watch out for those conservatives employed by them to evolve to gain mass media acceptance.
Essentially, to understand what is going on, you have to take Diogene's lamp and look for honest journalists and commentators. Those are treasures worth more than rubies at this particular point in time.

If you are still around, I read the Federalist Gordon article which was a rather ignorant take on the issue. What Gordon did was to conflate legislative subpoenas with those of executive criminal justice subpoenas. She cites the Communications Act which basically codifies a Supreme Court decision regarding pen registers in a criminal case. FISA is another avenue but once again, intercepts in that case would be classified and under the executive's, not legislative, powers as commander in chief and diplomat in chief with the duty to protect the country's national security.
The two branches powers under the Constitution to issue subpoenas are not the same and derive from different constitutional powers. The executive's powers come from the take care clause and delegated powers via the criminal code to investigate crimes. The congressional investigative powers come from oversight of executive departments, internal punishment of its members, and seeking information for legitimate legislative purposes.
I honestly believe lawyers have been progressively mis-educated about constitutional law and slept through most of the required class on Constitutional Powers. The ridiculous impeachment theories being floated by professors at our elite universities and similar lawfare/legal blogger speculations represent the tip of the iceberg related to ends justifies the means jurisprudence. The whole of constitutional law practices has become how to evade that mean old document passed by dead white men.
Recent examples pushed by legal "scholars" include ignorance of the function of quorum calls in the Senate by any member (the idea that the 2/3rds requirement impeachment can simply happen if Republicans do not show up), that DC being admitted as a state does not require a constitutional amendment, or that the whole popular vote scheme can end the Electoral College constitutional requirement without amendment.
Effectively, the law schools are teaching sedition to our Constitution and its function but rather than the messy business of trying to get political consensus to change what they find is odious, they are relying on ignoring both the words and meanings of the document thorough legislation pushing the envelope and court actions.
You begin to see why Constantine forbid under penalty of death any one from teaching gloss (defining the law differently that the common understanding of that code's words) on what his code of Roman law meant.
