Pentagon Office Being Investigated by John Durham Is Headed by Obama Holdover Accused of Leaking Classified Document
Allegedly James Baker -- who has been repeatedly named in various IG investigations -- was Stephan Halper's "handler."The Obama holdover heading the Pentagon office reportedly under investigation by the U.S. attorney who is conducting the criminal probe of the Trump–Russia investigation was accused of leaking a classified document, in a recent court filing for retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn. The connection hasn't been previously reported. According to a Nov. 21 report by independent journalist Sara Carter, U.S. Attorney John Durham is questioning personnel in the Pentagon's Office of Net Assessment (ONA). ONA awarded about $1 million in contracts to FBI informant Stefan Halper, who appears to have played a key role in alleged U.S. intelligence agency spying on 2016 Trump campaign advisers Carter Page and George Papadopoulos. In addition, however, a court filing indicates that ONA's director, James H. Baker, "is believed to be the person who illegally leaked the transcript of Mr. Flynn’s calls" to The Washington Post. Specifically, the filing states, "ONA Director Baker regularly lunched with Washington Post Reporter David Ignatius." The filing adds that Baker "was Halper's 'handler'" at ONA.

When a US Attorney General AND his assigned US Attorney make several trips to Europe to confer with allied governments about possible nefarious activities conducted by shady US citizens, I get the impression that William Barr will authorize as many investigations as he thinks are necessary.

On some title work, I've gone through old deed records which involved some old railroad properties, and turned out that James Baker was heavily involved in a wild string of government payouts / manufactured bankruptcies / robber baron shenanigans in the 1870's - 1880's. I think that one was the grandfather of James Baker, the Sec. of State. Well it gives us a timeline for how long the deep state has been looting the country.

I've been racking my brain.
My grandfather was a prominent political scientist academic from the University of Tennessee. When I was 10 (1995), he took me to D.C.. We mostly did touristy things, but one thing out of the ordinary was he took me along on a work thing.
We went to the Capitol Building where we went into an office and he interviewed an old man. He was definitely a Republican because of all the elephants in the room.
I do not remember who it was, and my grandfather passed a decade ago, so I can't ask him.
I know he was doing an interview for a project about Howard Baker and his leadership in the senate. I've wanted to know who that was for a while, and I'm doing a bit of research, trying to see who could have been in the Senate in 95, also around for Baker, and a Republican, and was really old at the time (cause that's what I remember).
And, looking through lists of Senators from the 104th Congress, I see Strom Thurmond.
Did I meet Strom Thurmond when I was 10 and I never realized it?
