A French prosecutor has dropped charges against the killer of Jewish kindergarten teacher Sarah Halimi after experts ruled he had suffered a massive psychotic episode by smoking cannabis. Ms Halimi, who was Orthodox, was killed after Kobili Traoré broke into her council flat in eastern Paris on April 4 2017. Witnesses said the 65-year-old was beaten and called a “demon” by her attacker, who recited Koranic verses as he threw her off her balcony.This is following an all-too-predictable path, one on which the life of a Jew is reduced in value, much like how the Nazis began with the undesirables in pre-war Germany. The infirm, the retarded, the chronically ill...there was a ready excuse made for their marginalization and, ultimately, murder. Here we have the laughable excuse that the savage murderer was in the midst of a psychotic episode brought on by...cannabis? Really? I am no fan of legalization, and I do not think that marijuana is a benign drug, but it is insulting to blame a drug that is famous for turning people into directionless, unmotivated slobs. What's really interesting is the exposition of the hierarchy! Muslims crying "Allah Akbar" are absolved of religiously-motivated murder all of the time in enlightened Europe, but now, since the victim was an untermensch, the entire crime is washed away! By 1938, many countries had imposed severe limits on immigration visas issued to Jews. Traditional American and English has always dealt with that situation quite simply. (of course SJW's attack this) If you were responsible for doing the things that impaired your judgment - for example, you got yourself drunk or you took a lot of drugs - then you're legally responsible for all of the things you did when you were impaired, and you can't use that as an excuse. No matter what your explanation, it's still all your fault.

Ditto here, on and off, BUT...in my case I figured out long ago that my hearing range is sensitive to electronics. Some folks can easily hear a certain high-pitched whine the circuits give off when the power's fed to them. I'm one, since an early age. The fact that witnesses heard him shout that the woman was trying to kill herself moments before he threw her off the balcony shows that he was planning to kill her, and was going to try and claim it was a suicide. And his claim that he was enraged by seeing her Torah in the apartment is not evidence that he was having a psychotic episode, it's just evidence that he's a muslim.
Imagine if a Christian man had broken into the home of an old muslim woman, beat her while screaming Bible verses at her, murdered her, and then tried to claim that he was having a psychotic episode because he'd smoked some weed and became enraged at the sight of her koran. He'd be torn limb from limb before a prosecutor ever even got the case, and there is no way in hell he'd ever have had the charges against him dismissed.

It should make her feel better that she could possibly get an annulment through the Church as well.
I did - for a violent husband.
The criterion for an annulment is that you'd have to have witnesses to testify to allegations that he was not prepared, not serious, or too immature to consent to a sacramental marriage in the Catholic Church. Mental illness or substance abuse also work.
All she has to do to start the process is
1. Get a divorce
2. Once that's done, consult with her parish priest.
Could be she's trying to get her ducks in a row on that before pulling the trigger on a divorce, for which she would probably be endlessly mocked by the press.

Distinguish between mainstream Protestants, which are dying off, and openly Evangelical Churches, which are growing.
Christianity and Judaism have a similar problem but interestingly the players are switched. In Christianity, the Mainstream is full lib, the upstart Evangelical movement is in full revolt against that. In Judaism, the Orthodox are also quite in line with what are considered Conservative values, and it is the Reform movement that has gone full lib. Both Christians and Jews are fighting cold civil wars going on inside them.
This points out why it's foolish to say "Christians think..." or "Jews think...." - There are vicious internal conflicts in both groups.

The criterion for an annulment is that you'd have to have witnesses to testify to allegations that he was not prepared, not serious, or too immature to consent to a sacramental marriage in the Catholic Church. Mental illness or substance abuse also work.
Gonna be hard to claim that after 18 years of marriage and four kids.

Nobody is "born a Christian". Nobody was born a "Freudian". Even if their entire household consists of psychoanalysts who are fervent Freudians for 3 generations. They would learn the principles of Freud and then assent to them.
Jewish is an ethnicity (a Semite stock). You can be born Jewish--as in, you're of that stock.
It would be curious to say being born to European stock would be "born Christian" because the first Christians were born as Semites. Christianity is a "white religion" (where we demand the meaning of "white" remain unequivocably European) where ALL of the authoritative text is written by Semitic people. Even if "John the Revelator" was Greek, as has been suggested, it would still make 95% of the authoritative doctrine of Christianity and the central figure and teacher himself, people of not-in-any-way-European stock. (And it is arguable that Revelations contains any specific doctrinal statements).
So "born Christian" is two-ways a farcical statement.

We have already established that there is the practice of Judism and the ethnicity of being a Jew. Also there are Rabbis out there that say there is no God. Jewish atheism exists. You can be jewish and an atheist but you can't be a Christian and an Atheist. You can be European and a pagan and godless, but those are my people regardless just as the ethnic Jew who is an atheists is probably a practicing ethnic Jew practicing Judism.
So when after hearing and it being implied that Jew hated in my European DNA for years and years from the Jews on the left and some conservative Jews, it comes off as a pathological hatred, supremacy, and racist as fuck.
When i say its probably not wise for Jews and especially conservative Jews to alienate themselves, that's not anti-Semitic. I truly don't want them to because in America and in Europe we should be on the same side. And I also see the effects of the alienation IRL where a once high trust society is beginning to feel betrayed.

I arrived at the gate about an hour before opening, and got in smoothly. The ticket was only $15, an amazing value. Besides the full-auto shooting show, the gun and ammo vendor show is super awesome! Bargains on everything.
Try again! It's worth it. Best destination entertainment value there is. And I felt safer there than in my own neighborhood, surrounded by patriots.

Actually, if you go back and look at the public statements made at the time by Senator Ted (may he rot in hell) Kennedy, changing the U.S.' demographics was exactly what the 1965 immigration law was NOT supposed to do.
During the debate on the senate floor, Kennedy said:
"our cities will not be flooded with a million immigrants annually. . . . . Secondly, the ethnic mix of this country will not be upset."
Kennedy was a bald-faced liar. He knew full well that his immigration law would open the flood-gates, and forever change the ethnic make-up of the U.S., and that is exactly what he wanted it to do. And he repeatedly lied about that to the American public.

Distinguish between mainstream Protestants, which are dying off, and openly Evangelical Churches, which are growing.
Christianity and Judaism have a similar problem but interestingly the players are switched. In Christianity, the Mainstream is full lib, the upstart Evangelical movement is in full revolt against that. In Judaism, the Orthodox are also quite in line with what are considered Conservative values, and it is the Reform movement that has gone full lib. Both Christians and Jews are fighting cold civil wars going on inside them.
This points out why it's foolish to say "Christians think..." or "Jews think...." - There are vicious internal conflicts in both groups.

Jews can also be an ethnically. Christians cannot. You aren't born a Christian. Also I don't know of one Christian who claims to be an Atheist, but I've heard plenty of Rabbis say there is no God.

I believe the more orthodox Jew does believe in an afterlife but it is less central to the religion than I perceive it to be in "mainstream" Christianity. In a sense I prefer that part of Judaism, that we should act to accomplish results now, not give up to evil and Hope that things will change when JC comes back in power.
I think OT Judaism clearly documents belief in a future world where the dead will be made alive ... as in David saying he would see his (dead) son again ... I think there are many references to a future paradise (but no knowledge of the "mystery" of the one body of Christ ... Christianity, this period before judgement)

The only schizophrenic I personally know will use any drug at every opportunity. If there's free pot or beer being passed around, he's sure to be there. He begs on the street for beer money.
In his case, I don't think his disease was caused by drugs; he needs drugs to try to blot out the horrors in his head. His mom and our very generous govt fully enable him.
His onset was late teens, early twenties, which I think is typical.

My guess is that the same kind of lies were used in Europe. In fact, I know this for truth since I observed the same thing in my country. And of course all who were against this policy were called 'racists' as we are now called 'racists' by the likes of the writer of this article.

Read the book, "Tell Your Children", by Alex Berenson.
Cannabis does not "cause" these episodes, but certainly seems to trigger them, and specifically take milder forms of psychosis/schizophrenia and make them far more extreme.
When it comes to violence, the statistics are not available to measure, but Berenson shows lots of correlative examples. The murder above clearly fits the pattern of the psychotic episodes that Cannabis can and does trigger.
the data links on Cannabis and violence and psychosis is right there, and publicly available, if only researchers would work with it and publish it. That takes work. Berenson only touched the surface, but hopefully other math statisticians will work with the NIH data and strengthen the correlations.
