Tucker Carlson, Lee Zeldin: Key Partisan Democrat Witness Lied When She Claimed She "Had Not Personally Responded" to Democrat Request for Impeachment Dirt
Government officials? Lying under oath?
This is impossible! I have been repeatedly assured by overly-proud government workers that not a single government worker has ever acted in a partisan, unethical, or illegal way, because it's just like the most exclusive club on earth. (Oh by the way: The country's single biggest employer is the federal government. How these assholes keep imagining government employment is an exclusive, prestigious club like a Harvard dinner club, I have no idea.) But here we again have a government official lying under oath, and of course there will be no charges brought against her. Because perjury and obstruction charges are for The Little People only.Former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, a key witness in House Democrats' impeachment inquiry, communicated via her personal email account with a Democratic congressional staffer concerning a "quite delicate" and "time-sensitive" matter -- just two days after the whistleblower complaint that kickstarted the inquiry was filed, and a month before the complaint became public, emails obtained Thursday by Fox News' "Tucker Carlson Tonight" show. The emails appear to contradict Yovanovitch's deposition on Capitol Hill last month, in which she told U.S. Rep. Lee Zeldin, R-N.Y., about an email she received Aug. 14 from the staffer, Laura Carey -- but indicated under oath that she never responded to it.Zeldin further alleges that Yovanavitch refused to answer when asked which details the Democrat staffer wanted to "ground-truth."
The communication came "from the Foreign Affairs Committee," and "they wanted me to come in and talk about, I guess, the circumstances of my departure" in May as ambassador to Ukraine, Yovanovitch testified, describing Carey's initial email. "I alerted the State Department, because I'm still an employee, and so, matters are generally handled through the State Department." Yovanovitch continued: "So, she emailed me. I alerted the State Department and, you know, asked them to handle the correspondence. And, she emailed me again and said, you know, 'Who should I be in touch with?'" Fox News is told it is a breach of normal procedure for congressional staff to reach out to a current State Department employee at their personal email address for official business. Asked directly whether she responded to Carey's overtures, Yovanovitch testified only that someone in the "Legislative Affairs Office" at the State Department had responded to Carey, to the best of her knowledge. Yovanovitch did not indicate that she had responded to Carey's first email in any way, and testified explicitly that she did not reply to Carey's follow-up email concerning whom she should contact at the State Department. However, emails obtained by Fox News' "Tucker Carlson Tonight" showed that in fact, Yovanovitch had responded to Carey's initial Aug. 14 email, writing that she "would love to reconnect and look forward to chatting with you." ... Zeldin added: "I specifically asked her whether the Democratic staffer was responded to by Yovanovitch or the State Department. It is greatly concerning that Ambassador Yovanovitch didn't answer my question as honestly as she should have, especially while under oath."
"I would highly suspect that this Democratic staffer's work was connected in some way to the whistleblower's effort, which has evolved into this impeachment charade," Zeldin said. "We do know that the whistleblower was in contact with [House Intelligence Committee Chairman] Adam Schiff's team before the whistleblower had even hired an attorney or filed a whistleblower complaint even though Schiff had lied to the public originally claiming that there was no contact. Additionally, while the contents of the email from this staffer to Ambassador Yovanovitch clearly state what the conversation would be regarding, Yovanovitch, when I asked her specifically what the staffer was looking to speak about, did not provide these details."Tucker Carlson reported on this last night. Home from shoulder surgery 3. Was still having tons of pain and mobility issues. So I got a different surgeon and he went back in with the main goal of removing the internal sutures from surgery 1. Turns out one of the sutures had come loose. In addition, there was cartilage that was jagged and even a piece or two floating loose. Also, shitload of scar tissue.
Currently at home with a weirdly dead arm due to nerve block.
Many many prayers that this will finally solve my shoulder.

I am so sorry to hear that. I had shoulder surgery 2 years ago for something much less severe than your own, adhesive encapsulitis, and it took several months for the pain to subside. I had nerve pain all the way down to my hand and it was debilitating. I know it's a difficult process to get back to "normal." Pray you are on the road to full recovery with the help of a great orthopedic surgeon.

But you'll see GOP figures going on at length with near-incomprehensible explanations of how there was no QPQ - strongly implying the legitimacy of the "charge" that there is anything wrong with it. Fine to note that, in fact, there was no QPQ as alleged, but every mention should begin, and end, with emphatic explanation that there's remotely illegal or unusual about it.
Another thing - they ought to be hammering the point that ONLY if we assume a magical, non-existent law or principle that current political figures are *immune from examination of possible past crimes and misbehavior while in office*, does the fact of Biden's [laughable] "political" status matter. The president is entirely entitled, even obligated, to work with leaders of foreign states [with whom we even have mutual legal assistance treaties, ffs] to examine *cases of official malpractice by current or former American officials*. Fucking obviously.
But not to worry, the whole farce will implode. But not because the GOP ferreted out yet another obscure incomprehensible-to-the-public process irregularity.

I am less than half Trump's age. Controlling for charisma (I don't have any), I *might* be able to pull off one of his rallies.
He does multiple *per day* in campaign season and did many per week leading up to the special elections. It's unreal. It seems like he feeds on crowd energy. He comes out of one and into the other more amped up. I have no idea how its possible. He wouldn't be as robust as he is at his age if he'd been mainlining speed, so I can only confident assert what it *isn't.*

right ... Brit Hume says the phone conversation was bad, but not an impeachable offense.
The NeverTrumpers (Hume is mostly in their camp, but tries to sound "reasonable") completely surrender reality, and resign themselves (and convince many others) arguing that Trump's (fake) offense was not quite impeachable, but clearly "OrangeManBad".

Anyone who only views videos and comments has to have an account. Clearly that is a non-commercially viable account because it is not providing any content.
I've always thought that youtube was aiming to be a monopoly replacement for broadcast TV but what gets people hooked is the non-viable channels and comments. If they ditch that it makes it much easier for competitors to get a foothold in the market (since they will have abandoned the original market).
But it seems obvious that this is just a tool to ban conservatives ... as someone noted above.

Did Epstein suicide? Maybe. Was he murdered? Maybe. If he suicided, was it volitional or was he "encouraged?" Either is a possibility.
There is no trust, no honesty, no credibility, no legitimacy in anything anyone in government says to anyone else. The best move is to assume they're lying to you. As a result, I assume that Epstein was murdered - simply because they're saying he wasn't and I don't trust them about anything, and trust them even less about anything important.

That story was first trotted out and then ripped to shreds over a year ago. Short story - a bad doctor used to work for Ohio State, and he did pervy things in the early 90's. He later committed suicide. Now some athletes are suing Ohio State for compensation because of what the Pervy doctor did. One guy has accused Jordan, who was an assistant coach at the time, of knowing about it and doing nothing; Jordan says not only did he not know, he had a relatively minor role on the staff.

Home from shoulder surgery 3. Was still having tons of pain and
mobility issues. So I got a different surgeon and he went back in with
the main goal of removing the internal sutures from surgery 1. Turns out
one of the sutures had come loose. In addition, there was cartilage
that was jagged and even a piece or two floating loose. Also, shitload
of scar tissue.
Currently at home with a weirdly dead arm due to nerve block.
Many many prayers that this will finally solve my shoulder.
