Deplorables aren't stupid enough to spend late-model used car money on a set of LV luggage that they'll use only 2-3 times a year, and will be thrashed by the illiterate mohammedans the airports hire for their baggage handlers.
I still have my sub-$100 luggage that I bought at Costco 18 years ago, and it works fine. Even after using it weekly for a couple of years when I was on the road a lot.

Personally, I don't like the idea, not because it's dumb, too expensive, or won't work. I think it's a workable feature of border policy.
My objection is that a left-wing authoritarian dictatorship is a very probable outcome of our current situation, and I don't want it used to keep me in. I'd like for us deplorable kulaks to be able to escape through Mexico, should it become necessary.
There are other ways to address this that don't provide the Left with a handy-dandy prison-state.
I'm frankly surprised they don't support the idea.

Personally I love the movie. Part of what you're picking up on is that it comes off as part of a series of features, sort of like an old movie serial...and not an early installment, either. And the stylings are, well, dated, and not from a period those old serials are associated with. So it's kind of an odd duck all around, though frankly it was THIS >< close to brilliant.

I watched Shark Tank last night and they had on an entrepreneur who rode into the studio on a toilet secured to some kind of a four wheel atv type thing. His product was some kind of fizzy tablet of essential oils you can drop into the toilet prior to using it to cover up smells.
He, his product, and the entire segment was disgusting. He didn't get a deal, but the stupidity of having him on the show was breathtaking, no pun intended.

No. Also they vary in expense. If you buy the highest priced ones available that's more than the cheaper versions. Buying in bulk at like Costco and just regualar tampax saves a lot so they're inexpensive. Buying a pack of 6 of "pearl" scented extravaganza at 7-11 would be pricey.

If we acknowledge that the country on our Southern border is mostly a lawless narco state, and they rely on our open border to move their illegal products - drugs, human (sex slaves, etc.) - into the US then even more people will demand we shut the border down. Not just a wall, but send the cartel people/MS-13 already here home, make them get things settled before we start allowing immigration traffic.

I read a headline on Drudge that they're gonna try to put the new agreement up for a vote anyway.

No. Also they vary in expense. If you buy the highest priced ones available that's more than the cheaper versions. Buying in bulk at like Costco and just regualar tampax saves a lot so they're inexpensive. Buying a pack of 6 of "pearl" scented extravaganza at 7-11 would be pricey.

In the old days of Real Money that was mostly true. Modern Monetary Theory (MMT) says the government just prints the money as needed. There are few "checks and balances" to MMT, and political malfeasance makes it untenable in the long run (probably) ...
But we have basically lived under MMT for some time now ... with at least $220T (Trillion) in unfunded liabilities, and gargantuan bailouts and subsidies for the elite/corrupt (2Big2Fail or Jail).

AOC and Warren apparently want unlimited MMT to fund everything (communism via proxy of monetary policy) ... while Trump is moving ahead with limited MMT (ZIRP, NIRP, covert QE, debt to infinity)
This could lead to inflation, which in theory is controlled by taxing people more, but most of this is why unlimited MMT would be so bad. And the USD would be weaker, but all currencies went down the Fiat Currency rabbit hole (what government doesn't want to spend 10x more than they have?)
The question of "who pays" becomes "who works, who collects profits, who makes the decisions on where the fake money gets distributed, when does the fake currency become hyper-inflated?
But really, no one "pays" for infinite fake currency ... the question is who gets left holding the bag (full of worthless paper they thought had real value). Or do we just all get a social credit scored credit card, to fulfill every need, as long as we are good citizens? (underway in China even now?)

I've said this before, but I've always believed that, at least in my lifetime, the American voters have always made the best electoral choices in presidential elections. I didn't vote for Obama, for instance, but I now believe that McCain and Romney would have been worse for the country than the JEF was. In those cases, the Deep State would have never been exposed, and we would have been unhappily voting for GOPe-types ad nauseum, even to this day. Even before then; Gerald Ford gave us Anthony Kennedy (awful). Carter gave us Paul Volcker (great). Etc, etc.

Way more people sign up for tickets than can actually get it. Every one of those people enters the campaign database, and becomes a person who's data the campaign doesn't have to buy at huge expense from aggregators.
I suspect the rallies are gigantic source of data for Trump's campaign, and they enable him to read the crowd and hone his message. Every one is both a performance and a rehearsal and a way to try out new material - much like a stand-up comic does his normal set with some new jokes peppered throughout to gain reaction and build his next special.

That information is extremely valuable when it comes to building a coalition and a general election message to attract more voters of a similar demographic. It also helps dictate where time and money is well spent and where it is a fool's errand.

Reasonable apprehension. Same here. The cucks have done NOTHING to help Trump along or fulfill his agenda. I have a towering resentment toward them dating to 2014, and they haven't ameliorated that in any way.
