Horrifying: Media and Climate Hoaxers (But I Repeat Myself) Report That Literally Everywhere on Earth is Warming at Twice the Rate of the Rest of the Earth

If that headline doesn't make sense, well, no it doesn't, but the media and climate hoaxers have been pumping out a huge number of "stories" and "studies" claiming that literally everywhere on earth is warming faster than the rest of the earth.

I assume they do this so they can target one country's population with the propaganda that Country X is Warming at Twice the Rate of the Rest of the Earth as well as targeting Country Y and Country Z with the same basic story.

The scam works so long as people don't see they're running this game with every country as country X.

But what happens when someone does start searching for this type of story, and then collects up all the nonsensical claims that everywhere on earth is warming faster than the rest of the earth?

Full thread below.

One begins to suspect that climate "scientists" have made up a scheme of dozens of "adjustments" they have granted themselves to make to the actual data, enabling them to tweak any temperature down and any other temperature up.

This allows them to claim that every year is the "hottest year on record" -- dialing up this year's numbers and dialing down the numbers for previous years -- and to claim that every country on earth is warming at twice the rate of every other country on earth.

And these people wonder why trust in the Press, the government, academia, scientific research, etc. is plumbing new lows. It's really quite tragic. There was probably a time when climatology was a legitimate pursuit. Climatology is dead. It sadly runs a non-zero risk of taking scientific research in a more general sense down with it.

Posted by: sniffybigtoe at October 07, 2019 01:01 PM (1ISKN)

With respect to sea level, Southern Louisiana is a special case because it's a subsiding basin, sinking at the rate of about 1 centimeter per year. (about 3 feet per century) It has always been subsiding like this; that's why the Mississippi flows there. (Water is gravity's dog, it follows it everywhere) BUT the flooding on the Mississippi used to dump enough soil to counteract that and keep the situation stable.

We screwed that all up after the 1927 floods, and the Atchafalaya diversion dam was built. Either we let Southern LA flood again, or it all sinks back in to the Gulf.

reminds
me of the old stories about an education supply company with products
that would allow almost every school in the country to have higher than
average test results (or something like that).

my buddy the logic professor used to go on and on about some local commercials hawking fences as a way to "protect your children from unfenced ditches and streams."

"but," he would say, "unfenced ditches and streams are precisely the ones that a fence can't protect them against! if you put up a fence, it's no longer an unfenced ditch or stream!"

As for the Kurds, I sympathize with them but I also sympathize with Turkey on this point. They are saying that in 12 years we will have reached a point of no return that will begin a runaway process of heating and acidification of the oceans that will make things unsurvivable in the future - maybe 100 years from now or so.

It focuses the need for action to the now without there being a need to show the results in that short term.

282 Every once in a while, a bunch of brainwashed Seattle kids do Climate Alarmist chalk art on the sidewalk outside my work. A few days ago I noticed one poor kid wrote, "I don't want to die yet!"

Yeah that's the most frustrating part. The most extreme, radical, over-the-top climate scientist, the guys who claim a 90 foot sea rise in 100 years, the guys who are hyping this stuff excessively... even they don't claim its going to kill us all. Just that its going to be miserable and we'll have to migrate north.

Posted by: Christopher R Taylor at October 07, 2019 01:37 PM (KZzsI)

283 will begin a runaway process of heating and acidification of the oceans that will make things unsurvivable in the future - maybe 100 years from now or so.

It focuses the need for action to the now without there being a need to show the results in that short term.

So, if the world isn't on fire in 12 years, they just say, yeah, but we have reached the point of no return.

Well the real question is..

Why should the earth be cooler?

Why shouldn't it be warmer?

What is the optimum global temperature?

It would seem from all of the hysteria over atmospheric concentrations of CO2, that it was determined that CO2 is a the main driver of climate on the earth, when did that happen, because I must have missed that paper?

If atmospheric CO2 levels are an existential threat, why are the biggest contributors, China and India, excluded?

Right, it is a clever new nuance. But they need to be careful.

Assume that they are right - in 12 years, if we haven't reduced carbon dioxide emissions to nearly zero - there is nothing more to be done because we've crossed the Rubicon.

What, then, is the correct course of action? To me, the correct course of action - if they're right - is to remove all controls and regulations and increase production at all costs across all countries, classes, climates, etc. Since reducing carbon dioxide emissions to nearly zero in a decade is impossible, and since failing to do so will mean we're doomed, the rational course of action is raise quality of life as high as possible for the time we have left on this earth. The best next step, if they're right, is to produce constantly with no thought to a doomed future so we can live better today.

Upstate New York. Depending on your definition of "kid" I may have been off by a few years. I was a kid in the 60's, teenager in the 70's. The cooling and population bomb scares were definitely 60's. Pretty much all the time in the old Weekly Reader's we all had to get. By the 70's I was more interested in girls and not much else got through to me so not sure what we were supposed to be afraid of in that decade, plus I was starting to get to draft age. More urgent worries as it were.

359 Guy Mohawk: "...but the real reason is they don't want their corruption cash cow kickback schemes exposed and stopped..."

This is the alpha and omega of everything that is happening in federal politics. The biggest, most longstanding scandal in American history is being exposed because an outsider, in response to voter frustration, dared challenge an entrenched status quo.

If Trump does nothing else but blow up the graft and corruption at the Federal level, he should be added to Mount Rushmore. If he takes out the MFM while he's at it, he should get his own commemorative 51st state.

Still pretty flat, unless you use very particular measurements and focus on some areas. What changed isn't the weather, its only their tactics and measurements.

Of course they did, it wasn't fitting the narrative. Like moving the measuring stations to the middle of populated areas where there's always an "urban heat island" from pavement which is always warmer of course.

Czech out the Czech milsurp practice ammo. Hollow core 44 grain blunt nosed bullet behind a full charge, anywhere from 3600-3800 fps in a full-sized Mosin (I measured 3700-3850 from my Finn M39). Acceptable accuracy at sub-200 yards, but not as good as regular milsurp ball. Yuge fireball and virtually no recoil. I feel more recoil from my 5.56mm ARs. I picked up a case many years ago, and SG Ammo finally got some more in recently.

to be fair, we have always been at war with Afghanistan (or least for the past 18 years), so there's that. Would you consider that a major war though? I dont know. It's major to the families whose sons, daughters, husbands, wives, and relatives have been killed or maimed during its prosecution, not to mention the Post Traumatic stress issues.

I don't recall canisters in the sky poisoning anyone, unless he was talking about my Aqua Net in the 80s causing a hole in the ozone over Argentina.

Totally worth it, my hair was gorgeous.

383 the best imo at exposing the fraud, is Tony Heller doing many simple YouTube videos to expose the data adjustments ... besides the adjustments, he shows how they pick their time frames to fit the lowest point on a long term graph, to the highest point. So even if the long term trend is flat or down, they find a shorter time frame where it was up.

But they also just adjust and lie about the real data.
