Hobby Lobby Now The Target Of Anti-Gun Activism

Another day, another supposedly outraged customer upset by something they saw while shopping. This time around it's Leslie Ruffing from Aurora, Illinois, who was upset by what she saw while visiting her local Hobby Lobby arts and crafts store; two metal signs. One of the signs featured two crossed pistols and the words "We Don't Call 911", while the other read "No Trespassing! Violators will be shot! Survivors will be shot again!"

I think signs like these are sort of silly. And you know what I do about it? I don't buy them! It works quite well, and that would be my advice to testy Leslie. Just walk away. Be a grownup and accept that there are people who don't march in lockstep with you. But I am willing to bet that Leslie is a screeching liberal who is almost always frothing-at-the-mouth furious about something, whether it is guns or abortion rights or healthcare for illegals or not enough carrots in the school lunches or...

Remember, if there was a 25th amendment plot to oust Trump (which there was) it would be a non-starter under the Constitution unless Pence was on board.

In the latest impeachment mishap, it seems clear that the Dems were counting on the fact that Trump would not release the transcript of the call--they had all speeches and press releases aligned to loudly proclaim it was not what it actually was. Why would they count on Trump not releasing it? it makes no sense until you hear the rumor that Pence was very much opposed to releasing the transcript, and voiced his concerns to the President.

Got in trouble once because I was called in on my off time, to cover for a Woman because her kid was sick.

Well, just so happened my daughter was sick, so I said no.

That looks like a 1 day old Lesburu in CA, that few bumper stickers are kind of rare.

When I was taking my mom's dog to the vet a couple of weeks ago, there was a Lesburu I parked next to with a big GTFO my (horrible drawing of ovaries) that overwhelmed the Santa Cruz/rainbow/coexist/KPFA/Bernie 2016 stickers, I assumed it was an "artiste" that made the letter sized sign.

As I was imagining the humanoid that might have made it, a scrawny I have no idea what its preferred pronoun would be nor do I want to know with jet black hair and a shaved cat got into the passenger seat. Protip: Save blood, put cats in carriers.

Of course, exiting the cat door moments later was the tatted up, pink haired (what wasn't shaved), pierced 300lb horror having a jovial conversation with the vet tech, who always calls everybody "sweety" and in a constant happy mood. After much laughter and "bye now's" she wriggles behind the steering wheel while I could hear "what a f*cking c*nt" and then started screaming at the life forms next to her.

I really wish I'd have taken a picture - I was about ready to just snap the back of the car as it was. But no doubt her being aware of being photographed would have resulted in a police call.

These people are nonstop miserable, angry, demented freaks. No way in hell this thing had to worry about an abortion, or even having a dick stuck in it. And to feel the need to worry about abortions in the SF Bay Area is just comic.

Yet I have to put up with bumper stickers calling me an idiot, a racist, a xenophobe and basically inhuman several times a day around here. These people really don't want me as a witness to their accidents if somebody runs into them.

Very good movie, but hard to discuss in depth without spoilers, s-o-o-o-o-o-o I won't really do that.

Great acting all around. Great directing. Very good script with some nice twists. Excellent soundtrack. A bit of antifaish "eat the rich" that is actually much more subtle than it looks esp if you consider the Joker's final joke at the climax.

Plays like a character driven drama or very very dark comedy, so it's not a "super villain movie" if that's what you're expecting.

Not for morons or ettes, who must have a feel good movie or a protagonist you like to enjoy a movie or whatever.

For as one woman stated loudly to her husband(?) as we were exiting:

"I didn't like that. That wasn't like any other movie. There was no action or characters...(indistinct).
I mean Joaquin Phoenix was amazing, but that wasn't a movie! Really!"

So, there you go. Two opinions in one comment! Value for your money.
