They are hanging their hat on the assertion by Biden and others that the prosecutor they wanted fired was "corrupt" so it was justified. Corrupt according to whom? Well corrupt according to the guy who's son was being investigated by the allegedly corrupt prosecutor. I love how Donks and their media apparatchiks get to state what is fact and what is allowable inquiry. Trump can't inquire about corruption because that would be corrupt but using a billion dollars as a hammer to get a "corrupt" prosecutor fired and more "honest" prosecutor installed that just so happens to drop the case once he's installed is above board and honest. These people are scum. Posted by: Gossamer Penguin at September 30, 2019 01:44 PM (Mzkan) 68

when Biden brags (to CFR) that he demanded the prosecutor be fired in order to get the money, and he was fired ... he doesn't mention it was because he was corrupt ... at least not in the clip I saw.
Seems clear that one of Biden's helpers figured out they needed something to use an excuse. (they even later apologized to the guy for framing him ... don't need the guy being an angry witness, so they tried to cover those tracks as well) It is like when the cop gets his friend off of a speeding ticket ... he has some lame excuse, and it gets approved only because the cop gave the nod. Here's the new edit to his page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hunter_Biden "There is no evidence that Hunter Biden was ever under investigation by the government of Ukraine, or that Vice President Biden sought the removal of Shokin to protect Hunter Biden or Burisma Holdings.[1][2][3][33][34][35][36] In July 2019, Trump ordered the freezing of $391 million in military aid[37] shortly before a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in which Trump asked Zelensky to initiate an investigation of the Bidens.[38][39] Trump falsely told Zelensky that "[Joe] Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution" of his son; Joe Biden did not stop any prosecution, did not brag about doing so, and there is no evidence his son was ever under investigation.[40] " All of that are 100% Biden campaign and Fusion GPS talking points. The Stephanopoulos bit is really bad (though not new or surprising). He starts his interview demanding Guiliani pledge then and there that it is a debunked conspiracy, as was alleged by the prior guest.
This is not an interview, this is a debate with Steph representing the Democrats, particularly the Clintons. Who is he - or any journalist - to demand that a guest pledge that they agree with something, particularly when it is on something still being investigated? That's doing work for the opposition, and sure looks like he was asked to do that (see Podesta and DNC leaked emails feeding journalists questions). The media has successfully associated the words Ukraine and Trump in people's minds. Pre-emptively. Think about that.
Now when people hear Biden did something wrong with Ukraine it won't affect them emotionally. If you don't believe these snakes are doing gobs of research (billions worth) into successful mind manipulation, you are stark raving mad. Once you look at modern "news" through that lens, everything starts to become clear. We are rats to them. Even in spite of all our rage. That's the number one reason news changed in 2009 and became so much more brazen. They determined that its worth it. Posted by: JackStraw at September 30, 2019 02:33 PM (ZLI7S) I started to watch Levin's interview with Schweizer last nigh t( recorded) and haven't been able to see the entire show yet. But I highly recommend it. Schweizer lays out the Biden Ukraine situation in time line fashion, in detail without being superfluous. At one point he was asked by Levin why no Republicans are standing up against this corruption and Schweizer says matter of fact that it's the Washington game. Everyone who gets elected to Washington knows quickly that if they want to get rich there or when they leave, you cannot speak out against those who will provide you with those opportunities. He said the corruption problems in the Ukraine made it a target of those in govt who saw it as ripe for the picking, hence why Biden was handpicked by Obama to become the conduit to the country after the removal of Ukraine's president. He has the actual legal court filings from the Ukraine govt's criminal proceedings against Burisma They show that Hunter Biden was being paid $83,000 a month to sit on a board of an energy company. Hunter has zero energy production education, or experience and as far as Schweizer knows, the only work he did for the company was to show up at a couple of trade shows to talk to potential investors. The timeline of Hunter getting this job is amazing, it was less than two months after Biden went to the Ukraine as the liason between the Obama administration and the Ukrainian govt. There are a lot of schools now that allow the player to retain a scholarship and finish their degree if they are no longer able to play due to injury.

Most athletic scholarships on now on a annual basis - meaning if you fuck up - you're replaced.
Posted by: Puddin Head at September 30, 2019 02:45 PM (yRAFu) This is completely incorrect. Most scholarships are on a 4 year basis. Only 3-4 percent of college football players go on to the NFL or CFL. The other 96% either graduate and move into the workforce, or go to grad school. The NCAA has minimum semester grade point requirements for players as a group for a school to remain NCAA eligible and the schools themselves have minimum requirements in order to make sure the student athlete is on track to graduate with their degree. What would happen if impeachment was successful, with a dozen (R) squishes in the Senate voting to convict? What if then, 60 million+ voters said "Fuck You" to the legislative branch and to come try to remove Trump whenever they feel ready.
I would love to see this gamed out. How many governors would send their National Guard troops and tanks to surround the White House? Which regular army division generals would obey an order from Nancy Pelosi to forcibly remove Trump? Would MSM news anchors be rounded up for inciting insurrection? Fun times. I asked what the hell he was doing in the Army. He told me I had no idea just how good major league pitchers are. Anybody who makes it to AAA baseball is a great baseball player - as you found out. The worst player in the major leagues is such a good player that he would be considered a super ringer if you were to sneak him into one of your pickup games. I had a friend who was a bench warmer in the NBA. When he played in pickup games at the Fonde recreation center he'd just go to his spot on the floor and let people feed him - he was a real scoring machine. By any normal human standards he was just incredible. Posted by: It's the seriousness of the charge at September 30, 2019 03:24 PM (Kk9qK) 533
It shows me how desperate they are. To call the Biden thing "widely debunked" is a joke in of itself... I mean the guy investigating it was fired because Joe Biden threatened to withhold a BILLION dollars from them.
Now if you want to say "We don't know"... fine enough. We don't know for sure because no journalist has asked any questions about it, and the Ukraine state investigation was halted by Biden. It's possible it was all coincidence... but let's not kid ourselves - this looks 40000 times worse than anything Trump has done.... and they know it.
