This time, she's complaining that Israeli's attempt to stop the smuggling of Palestinian bombs into Israel was "dehumanizing." So dehumanizing, in fact, that she cries about it, thinking about all those Israeli pizza shop diners who could have been murdered by one of her cousins' bombs. Donald Trump took to twitter to express solidarity with this terrorist:Donald J. TrumpMeanwhile, Terrorist Number One opined that Israel is not an ally because it excluded them from entering the country. As it excludes many terrorists. Which is dehumanizing.

Studies have shown that something like 70% of Palestinians are descended from incestuous relationships. The entire culture there is essentially based in incest -- cousin marriage is not just allowed, it is EXPECTED and encouraged. At this point, the intertwining family connections in Palestine are so enmeshed that basically everyone is everyone else;s half-sibling of cousin or uncle of niece or whatever. I worked with someone who was a Christian Arab. They would describe going to relatives funerals that included "paid wailers". Trump was faced after the election during the transition with filling a bunch of positions, dealing with the GOPe, the never Trumpers, the Democrat's screaming that he won by fraud, a CIA and FBI that were immediately trying to get him arrested as a spy and conspirator with Russia, riots by the screaming Hillary voters, on and on. The entire first four months of the Trump administration was just Trump throwing people into positions based on recommendations from other people thrown in positions. It wasn't until John Kelly came in that people started to get thrown out that were simply grifters, and Scaramucci was one of them. I'll never know why he was allowed to join the transition team and then get appts to high visibility positions. He was a Hillary supporter, disliked Trump and his appt. makes no sense.

What Trump is doing on Gun Control is obvious, since he has run the same play over and over again on issue after issue. He says "oh yeah, I'll consider it, let's talk about it!" And then the Senate will get a committee together, and they'll talk about who will cater their lunches for the first month, and quickly public interest will fade, and then Trump will say "well if we're going to do this you have to tie it in with border security, and the Dems will say "hell no!" and then the whole thing will fall apart, and Trump will say "well you see, I tried, they wouldn't work with me." And people will forget the issue and simply remember "yeah, Trump tried to work with them, they turned him down." That's one of the keys to his appeal and to his style. That's finesse.

cater their lunches for the first month, and quickly public interest
will fade, and then Trump will say "well if we're going to do this you
have to tie it in with border security, and the Dems will say "hell no!"
and then the whole thing will fall apart, and Trump will say "well you
see, I tried, they wouldn't work with me." And people will forget the
issue and simply remember "yeah, Trump tried to work with them, they
turned him down." That's one of the keys to his appeal and to his
style. That's finesse.

I freaking loved the movie. You and I are pretty much in the same place with regard to QT. You sounded like I usually do waiting for this one!!
Want to avoid spoilers but holy crap it was awesome! I love Brad Pitt anyway and he did not disappoint. He subtly inhabited that character
Every shot of the movie was perfection. So many little things to pick up on for repeated viewings. The scenery was amazing. I kept enjoying all the little callbacks to his own movies. Also there was a surprising ton of depth to what amounted to a simple story. Inch wide and a mile deep. So much about it I loved. Probably gonna see it again before it exits stage left.

It's worth remembering that TX has its share of Dem voters, and that for the most part, the Dem candidates on offer are embarrassments.
Mr. O'Rourke is a VERY evil man, no doubt, and EVERY person I see driving down the road with a Beto sticker and anyone who cast a ballot for him are NOT VICTIMS of evil but rather cheerful accomplices - but he was the first Dem in a long time that TX Dems could support and not be embarrassed. Note how very poorly Lupe Valdez did in the gubernatorial election - she was the typical embarrassingly bad Dem candidate that the state party puts up time and time again.
Not to mention Mr. O'Rourke had the backing of lots of people who wanted that seat badly, and he still lost in spite of the money thrown at him.

-- Joe tried to annul his first marriage when his twins were ~10. Also think he killed a GF in a car accident.
-- Michael killed himself skiing into a tree after sleeping with the family babysitter for 4 years, starting when she was **14** and was caught stalking her (after the breakup)
-- RFK jr. had numerous affairs, then an ugly divorce, and then when his ex-wife committed suicide he refused to release her body to her parents (she hadn't updated her will)

The more I've read about Bobby, the more I realize that he was sadly just as much of a dick as the rest of his family.
One particular story that jumps out- during the Bay of Pigs invasion there were four pilots from the Arkansas National Guard who disregarded the order not to provide air support and ended up being KIA. Bobby personally intervened to ensure that their families would not receive military pensions or any answers about what happened to them. It was basically the original Benghazi.

Adding my few pennies: My strong suspicion is that Cruz managed the coalition support for McConnell and his machine-like efficiency in approving judges. McConnell is smart, but not that smart without the support of someone who can work the consequences (filibuster, Reid).
Cruz should stay in the Senate until his work for us in the unrepresented states is done -- Chief Justice Cruz.
