Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Trump-Appointed US Attorney Slams "Culture of Disrespect" for Police That Led to the Philly ShootoutStatement by United States Attorney William M. McSwain on the Shooting of Six Philadelphia Police Officers What I witnessed last night was true heroism by the Philadelphia police. But the crisis was precipitated by a stunning disrespect for law enforcement --a disrespect so flagrant and so reckless that the suspect immediately opened fire on every single officer within shooting distance. Only by the grace of God did they survive. Where does such disrespect come from? There is a new culture of disrespect for law enforcement in this City that is promoted and championed by District Attorney Larry Krasner -- and I am fed up with it. It started with chants at the DA's victory party -- chants of "F*** the police" and "No good cops in a racist system." W'’ve now endured over a year and a half of the worst kinds of slander against law enforcement -- the DA routinely calls police and prosecutors corrupt and racist, even "war criminals" that he compares to Nazis. This vile rhetoric puts our police in danger. It disgraces the Office of the District Attorney. And it harms the good people in the City of Philadelphia and rewards the wicked. The alleged shooter last night, Maurice Hill, is a previously convicted felon with a long rap sheet. We have plenty of criminal laws in this City -- but what we don't have is robust enforcement by the District Attorney. Instead, among other things, we have diversionary programs for gun offenses, the routine downgrading of charges for violent crime, and entire sections of the criminal code that are ignored. The criminal laws in this City -- and especially the existing gun laws and drug laws -- should be aggressively enforced in order to protect the public and the police. My Office is doing all that we can. We have prosecuted 70% more violent crime cases this year than we did last year, in response to the District Attorney's lawlessness. But it is now time for the District Attorney and his enablers to stop making excuses for criminals. It is time for accountability. It is time to support law enforcement and to put the good people of this City first. The U.S. Attorney's Office, in conjunction with the Philadelphia police and our federal partners, is investigating the horrible events of last night and we are considering all options at our disposal. We will do everything that we can to support our brothers and sisters in the Philadelphia Police Department and ensure justice is done. To the officers involved last night -- those who were wounded and those who rushed to defend them--– and to their families, I say thank you. The whole City thanks you. We owe you more than we can ever repay. Quick reminder: George Soros realized he could not spend enough money to elect socialist/anarchist legislators to repeal criminal laws, so he instead began pouring money into a higher-payout proposition -- getting District Attorneys elected who, while not empowered to repeal laws, would simply refuse to enforce them. Why spend $50 million to swing a state legislature to the Socialist Justice Warriors -- something that wouldn't even work -- when you can just spend a million or two on a single local DA race and subvert the law that way? Kim Foxx -- the woman who fake-recused herself while her constitutionally-invalid toady then let Jussie Smollett free without even an admission of guilt -- was one of the social justice states attorneys Soros backed. If you're wondering, "is this Larry Krasner another of George Soros' anarchosocialist assaults on the pillars of American justice?" -- why yes. Yes he is, in fact. $1.45 million Soros investment in Philly DA's race draws heat for Krasner In a traditional race for district attorney in Philadelphia, Michael Untermeyer and Joe Khan would be at the head of the pack while the other five candidates in the May 16 Democratic primary election would be trying to catch them. ... That all was overwhelmed by a $1.45 million check, written by billionaire George Soros on April 28 and reported Friday, to fund an independent political action committee backing Larry Krasner. Soros changed the game. And that realigned the targets. Now Krasner, who has made his lack of prosecutorial experience a highlight of his campaign, is taking the heat [for the Soros money].You wouldn't think that it's antisemitic to point out that a foreign-born hyperplutocrat who grew up in a country under Soviet domination and who seems to have thought that Soviet domination was pretty neat is attempting to buy his way into making this a communist country. Especially considering that the communist in question is not even Jewish, and in fact admitted to have helped Nazis identify and seize property from Jews. I mean, he's practically James Bond's supervillain Ernst Stavro Blofeld, for real, but with a much, much bigger bank account. But since certain, ahem, "true conservatives" saw their traditional channels of grifted money dry up and needed to reach out to, um, alternate sources of grifted money, it became "antisemitic" almost overnight to point out that George Soros has a lot of money and uses that money to subvert the American system into a communist one. I'm not saying there's any connection between those two things, the Strange New Protectiveness of the communist Soros, and the need for some "true conservatives" to find new public-spirited billionaires to keep them clothed, sheltered, and obese. To suggest that would be an antisemitic conspiracy theory, I'm reliably informed. So let's just say these things happened at approximately the same time and leave it at that. One does not need to think the police are racist to distrust or have lost respect for them. If you did a survey that didn't mention race and just asked questions like "do you think police act like they are above the law, or cover up for fellow officers who do", I think the results would be very disappointing. Policemen can have jobs which are very stressful and this exacerbates whatever depression they have. I put the blame on the leftist culture that allows them to be demonized all the time. De Blasio is an example of this. He acted badly when they two cops were ambushed in NY and, in response, the cops turned their backs on him. Now people are throwing water on cops and De Blasio does nothing. He just yammers on about "I warned my son about cops". His wife's probably crooked organization, THRIVE. doesn't want cops to get help because some of them were in "Blue Lives Matter."
Yes, there are bad cops as there are bad people in every profession, but nine cops committing suicide in less than a year? That's terrible and even more tragic when they do it in the home they share with their families. Worst Mayor of NYC ever. Posted by: FenelonSpoke at August 15, 2019 03:51 PM (+0VWg) 60

Willowed, but worth making sure it is seen:
Going back to the 80s I remember so many Chinese Nationals having "consulting" business cards in Chinese. Back then I had friends who told me they had to play along or their families in china would lose their apartments, or jobs, or whatever. That they had gone to school in USA and were supposed to return and didn't and so their families were at risk. When they would visit home, the gov. would interview them and find out what tech they had access to, and arrange another interview with a person who know how they could help Chinese businesses. This is all an agency needs to turn people. Maybe only 1 in 1000 are going to turn, but that is plenty. Russia would have been giddy to have 1/1000 the potential insiders in the US during the cold war. They have been selling tech secrets for decades, and I am sure the top recruits are used for more important stuff. like compromising outlook. And to add, ... When the US agents in China started dying is an indication that at that point the Chinese KNEW that the US IC KNEW that we were compromised. So you can take that as the date at which the whole administration and IC is complicit in the cover up. Posted by: Gentlemen, this is democracy manifest at August 15, 2019 03:54 PM (LWu6U) 91

I saw there were like 30 cops that fired their weapon in that stand off ... I really wonder why they had maybe 100 cops for that one guy. And "overtime and hazard pay" came to mind. The other possibility was they were concerned that other gangs in the neighborhood might "act up". But WOW, that was a lot of cops laying behind cars ...
they arrested a guy in daylight, and that was allegedly the shooter ... but then I guess it was not. The shooter didn't come out till like midnight. A black Muslim shot a cop in his car three years back ... this guy had a beard but no idea if he was Muslim ... but long beard like that (from what I saw in bad light) seems more like just a Muslim thing. "The most important symptoms for diagnosing serotonin syndrome are tremor, extreme aggressiveness, akathisia, or clonus (spontaneous, inducible and ocular).[8] Physical examination of the patient should include assessment of deep-tendon reflexes and muscle rigidity, the dryness of the mucosa of the mouth, the size and reactivity of the pupils, the intensity of bowel sounds, skin color, and the presence or absence of sweating.[4] The patient's history also plays an important role in diagnosis, investigations should include inquiries about the use of prescription and over-the-counter drugs, illicit substances, and dietary supplements, as all these agents have been implicated in the development of serotonin syndrome. Philly is no different than all the other Democrat run urban Hells. Once a city gets above 30K people it starts turning into a bought and paid for urban population of drones living off of welfare, with unmarried women having babies as a form of job to collect benefits. The children are then turned out in the streets and learn how to be juvenile delinquents then morphing into criminals who are in and out of jail their entire life.

Yeah..... the Rules of Law arent there to protect the citizenry. They are there to protect the criminals from being torn apart by the citizens. Part of the pact that civilization offer is that the citizens dont take justice out on bad people on their own. We "trust" that eventually justice prevails and the bad guys get theirs in the end. We believe that even though the wheels of justice turn slow... they turn and will eventually "get it right". But... if the the rule of law no longer applies and justice is never visited on the deserving.... youre going to see citizens start taking matters into their own hands. It's not a suicide pact that enables and encourages our enemies to run around setting fire to our legal institutions like he's been doing for years. STOP THIS SHIT NOW! The thing about SSRIs "passing FDA testing" is a little x-factor called Starstuck Groupthink. The SSRIs were the wonder drug of their day, and everyone bought into it; and by "everyone," I mean the medical profession and the regulators, who are just as susceptible to persuasion as anyone else. Same damned thing happened with the statins. What happens in Starstruck Groupthink is that big side effects are unconsciously shunted aside. What, you feel like a cripple after taking that statin? It can't be the drug. After all, it was approved by the FDA! Which is fine, except of course you still feel like a cripple.

>>>If every person on antidepressants went terminal crazy, they never would have passed FDA testing... But there's some tiny number, perhaps a hundredth of a percent, that do.
It does seem to be a common thread among mass shooters, and suggests to me that more needs to be done to study the link. Perhaps their form of depression is somehow neurochemically different, which makes standard treatments prone to failing? ... So a doctor explained about this. I got a drug for sleeping that is actually usually prescribed for depression. But it has sleepiness as a side effect, so it's used "off-brand," as they say, as a sleep aid. He warned me about side effects, which included depression and suicide. "Wait," I said, "it's an anti-depressant that CAUSES depression and suicide?" He said, Well, they have to report every bad outcome in every case history of someone who's used the drug. Depression and suicide are among the bad outcomes reported. But who was the drug being prescribed to? It was being described to people who are depressed, some of them who will already be suicidal. There's not really a cause-effect link established in these laundry list side-effects disclosures. It's just things that happened. In the case of depressive people becoming depressed on antidepressants: How do you know the drug just isn't working at all, and thus a depressed person reports "depression" as a side effect? I personally believe it's wise to be cautious with any mind-altering drug and I'd agree they're overprescribed. But I would not read too much into the idea that someone who had depression was prescribed antidepresants, and then went on a murder-suicide spree. He was probably already suicidal and fucked up! you can't conclude the antidepressants fucked him up -- he got prescribed psychotropic drugs because he *already* had some kind of mental disorder. Okay, anyone suggesting Jeff killed himself is completely discounting that he already sorta beat this wrap once, in his mind had 'important friends', probably had enough blackmail information to use on the Pope and completely disregards the fact that it's just not that easy to harm yourself willingly even with pretty quickly LETHAL means at your disposal.
Which he did not. No, we're supposed to believe he strangled himself while throwing himself at a wall and jumping off the bed and held his own face underwater in the toilet or something. Yeah, no. If he managed to do it MORE than once he'd have the bruises to various parts of his body to demonstrate it. And assuming he had the balls to do that, and there's just no flucking way he did, there's no way he did a swan dive from the bed to the floor, face first, with his neck arched back to expose it more comfortably to the impact. And oh, he had to get it RIGHT on the first go, or he'd have had to do it AGAIN. His balls were in no way that big. Posted by: DamnedYankee at August 15, 2019 04:40 PM (37IEG) 395

Less than 0.002% of fractures involve the hyoid.
This seems intentionally misleading. What percentage of HANGINGS result in a fractured hyoid. Mixing in every time someone breaks a finger in this analysis is incredibly dishonest. Only 31 cases of traumatic hyoid fracture other than strangulation have been documented. Do hangings count in strangulation? Because it seems to me that anyone who doesn't have a spinal fracture causing fatal system shock as primary cause of death during a hanging dies of strangulation. So again, this seems dishonest. The speaker seems to want you to believe that strangulation always means someone OTHER THAN YOU killing you by strangling you, when in fact, the set of all strangulation deaths includes quite a few people who strangled themselves. The real question is, does a hyoid fracture nearly always mean it's a murder strangulation as opposed to self-strangulation, AKA suicide by strangulation. 457 Less than 0.002% of fractures involve the hyoid.
Yep. He's just as bad if not worse than his dad. All of them are a clear and present danger to us. How many people have died as a direct cause of Soros' DAs not enforcing the law, as that letter points out? This bullshit cannot continue. It's that satanic bastard's fondest wish to bring us down. His methods and tactics are known, hell, he even brags about them indirectly by not even hiding what he does. He wants to rub our faces in what he's able to do. I think the problem with a lot of modern drugs is that they work so differently for different people, and often very differently than their original sought-after effect.
Wasn't Viagra developed in hopes of treating blood pressure, and while it didn't do much in that arena, boy howdy did it work for pressure in one specific area? And that is now how it's pretty much marketed and prescribed. Same thing with Rogaine, I believe. It grows hair, but what were they TRYING to do originally? My daughter is on antidepressants, and since the birth of her child has been on a horrible rollercoaster. Every time they adjust them, she gains another 20 pounds, and has intermittent bursts of suicidal ideation and a lot of anger alternating with bottomless sadness. The meds DO work for some. They don't work well at all for others Posted by: barbarausa at August 15, 2019 05:02 PM (W7IZQ) 480
