Andrew McCabe and Jeremy Fleming of MI-5 Shared Conspiratorial Texts, Wondering If Brexit Wasn't, Like Trump, the Work of #MuhRussians

These people are literally insane, and were in the grips of a hysterical delusion -- "without evidence," as the hysterical leftwing media might say -- and they run the fucking world without our consent and in secrecy.

These "intelligence officials" are so completely out-of-touch they cannot fathom even the possibility that the wider public might deviate from the BBC/MSM line that defines their reality, and immediately suspect RUSSIAN AGENTS must be behind any deviation from the expected left-liberal upper middle class consensus that they believe is the only mode of thought or possibility in the world.

These people selectively leak to the media so that the media will report a false impression of the contours of reality, and then, incredibly, they believe the false impression of reality that they know they themselves helped conjure up from ideology, fantasy, and lies.

These people are scary and evil, and what's worse, they are pig-ignorant and stupid and completely incompetent. They can't even pull off a conspiracy, despite having the entire law enforcement and intelligence apparatus of not one but two great power nations behind them.

They must all be purged from government and many of them need to be jailed.

Some must be -- seriously -- committed.

Two of the most senior intelligence officials in the US and UK privately shared concerns about "our strange situation" as the FBI launched its 2016 investigation into whether Donald Trump’s campaign was colluding with Russia, the Guardian has learned.
Text messages between Andrew McCabe, the deputy director of the FBI at the time, and Jeremy Fleming, his then counterpart at MI5, now the head of GCHQ, also reveal their mutual surprise at the result of the EU referendum, which some US officials regarded as a "wake-up call", according to a person familiar with the matter.
While Russia had previously been viewed as a country that would seek to interfere in western elections, the Brexit vote was viewed by some within the FBI as a sign that Russian activities had possibly been successful, the person said.
Their exchanges offer new insights into the start of the FBI's Russia investigation, and how British intelligence appears to have played a key role in the early stages.
In one exchange in August 2016, Fleming noted that members of the FBI and MI5 had "met on our strange situation", a veiled reference to discussions about Russian activities, according to the source.

The text messages between the two men were infrequent and cryptic and did not contain specific or sensitive materials, but occurred with some regularity after the referendum in June 2016.

The exchanges underscore a sensitive issue in the US – namely the role foreign intelligence services played in the FBI's decision to initiate an investigation into the Trump campaign.

90% of these people were just fine, recognizing this as part of the overall job they had to do...like getting a drivers license. But for about 10% it was like flipping a switch. They now had a clearance and they were now more important. Their egos went batshit crazy about it.

I respectfully disagree, for this reason: in the mid-nineteenth century the U.S. was not a world power, and so it did not matter that much.

But post WWI, the U.S. WAS a world power, and one of the most formidable until it is now THE most formidable.

So I believe we have to weight the incompetence of a President with the impact factor of the country.

By that standard, Obama stands out as clearly the worst President in American history, followed by Carter. Carter was a bungler, God knows, but I believe he actually wanted the best for America. He just adopted idiotic policies, the "Minnesota effect." (California does NOT want the best for America, or I'd call it the "California effect.)

But Obama very clearly had no time for America, hated it desperately, as did his linebacker wife and all of his terrorist and Communist buddies (Ayers, Wright, the lot).

that's not a massive fire, that's a minor fire for a refinery. A massive fire would be when those storage tanks start blowing up one after the other like a row of A-Bombs.

refineries are dangerous places, full of highly flammable gases and liquids at high temperature and high pressure. Everything in those places wants to go BOOM, it's really amazing that accidents don't happen a whole lot more.

that makes me remember a sign I wish I had saved an image of. It was the standard "This workplace has had no accidents since..." and someone had written in "LARRY LEFT".
