The reportage on Mueller on this Thread seems slightly biased. To check, I journeyed into the heart of reality as we know it, Democratic Underground, and found this from "madaboutharry":
"The democrats are going to carry the day. They are prepared for this and the questioning is demonstrating that they have worked hard at making sure they don't mess up. The republicans have nothing. They are trying to discredit the investigation and Mueller while ignoring the facts. It is a very stupid approach. And treating Mueller contemptuously is also a mistake. Mueller is known to have a low threshold for bullshit." You're welcome. Posted by: Duncanthrax at July 24, 2019 10:05 AM (yGrHW) 270

Just a rehash of the same old same old crap. The only possible good thing that might come is that some of the Republicans might get their questions said out in public - but there will be no answers. And lets cut to the core problem - Congress has become a useless, ridiculous joke of an instititution. It doesn't "govern" (the President and the Bureacracy do that), it doesn't pass laws (The Supreme Court does that) it doesn't Budget, it just throws money at things like a drunken sailor, it doesn't even do oversight - it just puts on stupid pieces of Kabuki theater that are meant to help the Congresscritters rake in bribes from interested parties. Posted by: BurtTC at July 24, 2019 10:02 AM (a2xio) Killing a guy's wife and son in Idaho wasn't a big enough Come To Jesus moment regarding the American Public and the FBI. Burning a bunch of kids alive in order to save them in Waco didn't do the trick. I doubt a failed coup will get the job done either. There's a reason the FBI is so brazenly bold. as far as how the countryside looks, everyone who's driven around the country knows that when you're in Wisconsin and Iowa and points nearby, all the farms are beautiful and you might as well be in Bavaria or someplace similar. When you're in the country in East Texas or Loozyanna or Arkansas, every car and refrigerator and washing machine they've owned for the last 75 years is going to be sitting together in a pile out next to the road. 327 So, a very OT question: has anyone here had to deal with an alcoholic boss who has stopped drinking?
I have a client who used to drink-- not sure if he qualifies as an alcoholic or not, since I work remotely-- and he mentioned a few weeks ago he has stopped. Since then, he has done a 180 on a bunch of things, and is now super demanding and never satisfied. Any advice/ thoughts? Posted by: shibumi, future dental floss tycoon at July 24, 2019 10:12 AM (AkkRZ) Speaking as an alcoholic who has been on and off the wagon a couple times, and this especially applies to maintenance drinkers, removing the booze leads to removing something the body and brain have been depending on for awhile. There's a withdrawal process and it can be highly unpleasant. That's the immediate explanation. The psychological explanation is that this person was drinking in the first place to medicate some problem like anger issues or depression. This could also be at work here. The most I can say is give it time. If it doesn't get better, see if you can work around this person because it might be something that's simply beyond your control and his. MSM is already putting up "Mueller testimony is call to action for Congress to investigate more" articles.
Articles that were written days, maybe weeks ago with the assistance of their favorite Dems. A man "literally" famous for firing people did not actually fire Don McGann (which was also within his constitutional rights and powers, BTW), but here we are with every other dem reading the same quotes from the report into the record. They have NOTHING.

He's directly contradicting Barr now with this OLC bullshit.
Posted by: Duke Lowell at July 24, 2019 10:38 AM (gC2IV) ---- He's directly contradicting his own "clarification" after Barrs report. Posted by: fixerupper at July 24, 2019 10:40 AM --- He is also contradicting over 200 years of legal precedent and law by saying that he can't "exonerate" Trump. He destroyed the concept of innocent unless proven guilty that US law is based upon. Posted by: The Great White Scotsman at July 24, 2019 10:43 AM (JUOKG) 535
Mueller is Janus.
One face is the senile, doddering old man who can't remember if it's tapioca night. The other face is the guy who answers Dem questions before the question has been finished. You can see his mind go off the rails when the Dem questions requires more than a yes - no answer. The senile thing probably isn't an act, but is a real response to unrehearsed questions. It's not in my purview. I don't recall. Not to my recollection. I was on drugs at the time, so I don't remember. Yada yada yada. Nice hooters! What's it worth to you" Wait. Scratch that. Posted by: Anonymous White Male at July 24, 2019 10:43 AM (m79Dg) 537
Donald Trump Jr.
@DonaldJTrumpJr Does anyone honestly believe that after two years and $50 million Robert Mueller does not know anything about fusion GPS given that it was the genesis of the entire investigation? Has he not opened a paper, even a leftist, one or watched TV in that time? Tough to believe. Posted by: Deep State is in DEEP SHIT at July 24, 2019 10:44 AM (BqBId) 538

Speaking as an alcoholic who has been on and off the wagon a couple times, and this especially applies to maintenance drinkers, removing the booze leads to removing something the body and brain have been depending on for awhile.
Thank you joncelli Yoda. You're confirming what I suspected. I am trying to get him to give me some strict guidelines of what he wants from me every month. If I get that, I can work completely independently of him and be less stressed. Posted by: shibumi, future dental floss tycoon at July 24, 2019 10:44 AM (AkkRZ) 541
