Bernie Sanders and America's Foremost Fake Hispanic "Beto" O'Rourke Heckled at Minority Women's Forum

White men, am I right?

2020 presidential contender Bernie Sanders faced an aggressive and, at times, outwardly combative audience at the She The People Forum devoted to women of color in Houston on Wednesday, as the self-described democratic socialist struggled to convince attendees of his commitment to minority and underprivileged communities.

The tense moments underscored the challenges Sanders' campaign still faces despite its frontrunner status. The 77-year-old Vermont senator, long a champion for progressive causes, has sought to win over voters who turned out in massive numbers to support former President Barack Obama.

In a particularly striking moment, host Aimee Allison asked Sanders what he would do to fight white-supremacist violence. In response, Sanders launched into a familiar anecdote that -- perhaps precisely because of its familiarity -- seemed to crash and burn.

"I know I date myself a little bit here, but I actually was at the March on Washington with Dr. [Martin Luther] King back in 1963," Sanders began, as audible groans and jeers broke out at the auditorium at Texas Southern University. One person apparently shouted, "We know!"

Apparently Blotto O'Rourke had a pedestrian-in-the-headlights-of-a-drunk-driver moment, too.

And Trump welcomed "Sleepy Joe" into this #Woke Gauntlet of racist hazing:

had that kit back when I was 11. No, the Airfix kit was a good lesson on
how everything is going wrong, so how do you get through? The cockpit
proves too big - then trim it down to make the fuselage close (and who
is going to see all of that detail in the floor of the cockpit anyhow?)
The wings not fitting? Just sit there and sand and then use putty. Not a
terrible build, but not awesome.

I just sent you some pictures of the model.

It will be fun watching the Democratic Party tear itself apart.

On one side, you have people noting that Hillary lost because she
lost white working-class males, and that the D's need someone who can
appeal to white working-class males; and on the other side you have
people who hate and despise white working-class males, who think that
you don't need them, so long as you turn out the Democratic base.

The people who hate white working-class males are in the ascendency in the Democratic Party, of course.

Look, I am never much for predictions, but here goes. While the Mueller thing was going on Trump could not do much openly, he had to listen to his attorneys and never give the investigators anything they could use to dig at him. No matter how infuriating he thinks that is. That does not mean he could not collect his own information, and go over the information that Mueller's team was turning up. And make his own plans. Because while "Vengeance is mine," says the Lord; "Can I get a couple of kidney punches in," says the Golden Scalp Weasel.

My brothers played a version of that, punchcard game. Very old.

My dad brought home this really obscure pong game from his job at the TV repair shop in the late 70s, it had like 4 games on it all basically pong variants. Nobody else had a home computer game, it was amazing. The thing is we were dirt poor so it was the biggest luxury ever and he only got it because someone just left it at the shop without paying and he did a little repair on it.

Invalid premise.

How many incidents of white-supremacist violence occur each year that aren't Leftist false-flag events? And how does that compare to Lefty- and minority-supremacist violence (e.g. panty-fa)?
_________________

Yep, the "white supremacist" violence typically turns out to be a hoax by some leftist idiot (college student, Dim politician's staffer, dim-witted actor, etc.).

Meanwhile, 95% of the world's actualsupremacist violence is being committed by muslims, but amazingly enough, nobody is asking any questions about what the Dim politicians plan to do to stop them.

I agree with the idea thematically. She is symtomatic about how deeply unserious people treat both their government and how much control that government has over our lives.

There was a game called "Battle Cruiser" for C64 (unrelated to a dumpster fire of a 1990s game from an unhinged developer) that was a tabletop-style WWI/WWII naval game. Had a book of ship stats the size of the yellow pages. Looked like an absolute blast.

It really wasn't, not when you're 7 years old. At least a tabletop game would have had little counters and a map you could play with when you got bored with all the numbers.

Sure he does. I believe Trump essentially told the principal parties investigating all this to hold off on bringing out the most damaging information and indictments publicly until the Mueller report exonerating him dropped. Now they have the "go" signal, and events are happening quickly on a number of important fronts.

I think the instructions are correct. I found a pic of a 1/35 Ausf D Trop model with metal detail sets added. There are 5 chains hanging down from that rack. So I assume the candles were somehow triggered to drop by gravity by the crew, the chain pulled out the candle's actuator pin, and presto - a smoke cloud the tank could reverse into.

I also found a pic of a Mark III with the same hardware, being unloaded from a ship in Africa.

I had something like that - a GI Joe backpack radio set with a little door with two wires, one with an alligator clip and the other had an earplug - connect it to a piece of metal and slide the antenna and you could hear somebody talking.

Douglas Adams said since then that the game was basically unwinnable. You could get to the end and if you hadn't done about twelve different unintuitive things at certain points along the way with no hint that you were supposed to do them at all (and sometimes with the game insisting that it was pointless to do them), you'd lose.

560 128 k memory. Cutting edge technology! And the IIc was portable!

It died and I didn't get a PC until several years later, after I realized I couldn't run the bookstore with just one and paper. Got a desktop with 1 gig memory. But I was so conditioned by that 128 k, I used to panic if I created a file more than 60 k. Drove my consultant ( customer/friend who worked as a software specialist) insane.

You had to lie down in front of the bulldozer, but get up in time to get off the planet. You couldn't be off more than one move, plus there were other things you needed to do before that or else you'd be screwed later in the game. Hours later. It was something like remember to feed a dog so he's not hungry hours later when you revisit that timeline as a microscopic version of yourself, or else he'll eat you then.
