Gillette Parody Ad Slams Media and Left for Covington Lies

Does the media understand that America is seeing this stuff, and knows that it's real, and they know that the media is deliberately suppressing it to save their precious narrative?

Does the media not understand that they can't suppress stuff that everyone is viewing, and that the only thing they're achieving is confirming that they are paid partisan liars?

They can and do suppress what people watch and hear about- their power is just not absolute. That is what they would like to change.

No, they do not.

Yes, they do not understand that.

To grasp either one would entail a long look at something they cannot face.

Kind of like Cross-Spitter Frankovich. They just KNOW that are not what they are.

49 The media understands nothing, ace. They want what they want and they will, by God, have it by any means necessary. They deserve everything and no one, not one fucking person, should be allowed to interfere. They got Barky oblabo elected and that made them think they were almighty gods. Then Hillary lost. Even with their lies and obfuscation, their precious lost. It couldn't be because we the people were on to their scam. It couldn't be because we hated Hillary. IT HAD TO BE TRUMPS FAULT. And now they are certain, 100 percent sure, that if they lie harder and obfuscate better, they will get what they want in spite of us deplorable, ignorant unpeople.
I have been saying this since 2008, the media is the biggest enemy of the people And the country. It must be destroyed.

62 Last weekend's Greg Gutfeld had what I thought was perhaps even better.

It was Savannah Guthrie interviewing both the Kid and the Chief.

Gutfeld took the first 3 or 4 questions she asked each one of them, and then interspersed the film to show them back to back.

He did nothing else. It was pure Savannah, asking each one her questions in order to each one.

SG to Kid: Do you feel like you should apologize?

SG to Chief: How are you feeling today after everything you've suffered?

Really it was this tainted.

After it was over and the audience calmed down from laughing and hollering, he said something like "and this should be played in all Journalism classes for a generation, to show exactly what media bias is all about," or some such thing.

Do yourself a favor and go find it, probably on FoxNews.com, it was in the earlier part of the show.

That is truly awful

I lived about a mile from my high school, by the road, but I figured out a path that would get me there in about half that distance, roughly straight. Every day I'd walk past a house kinda at the edge of a partly finished housing neighborhood with the roads all laid in but only some homes built.

One day I walk by and there's police tape all around it, no cars now but clearly its a crime scene. I find out that the whole family was killed. There was a retarded son living there with them and one day he just... snapped or something and murdered them all. That haunted me. I can see where people believe ghost stories, forever after that house just felt evil to me.

these fucking NPCs are too predictable. As soon as I have it out with them they accuse me of watching Faux News (wow so clever) or Disinfo Wars (my God the amount of brain power they must have had to conjure up to think of that one). To which I say Faux News is a globalist shill who believe in open borders and and I don't watch Alex Jones.

The minute i dont conform to their preconceived notion of a white supremacist MAGA hat wearer the NPC coding starts to generate blue screen errors and self destruct.

Franks is pretty much the king of Cayenne based hot sauces. They are not bad, but over priced. They also have a huge amount of variability from bottle to bottle of the same sauce as far as their heat.

I tried some cheaper Buffalo sauce from an off brand over the weekend. Not too bad, not too drowned in butter and the cayenne flavor was strong.

There is some good stuff out there with good flavor, but some of it is washed out by Cap. We made Sriracha (which is actually a Jalapeno puree base.) The garlic and the different pepper make for an interesting flavor, but it all gets washed out by the heat when you taste it straight. The flavor comes through when you dilute it in a dish, but I see people putting it straight on cheese curds, for pete's sake.

I agree. I can generally handle heat better than most people I know but there is a limit where it gets crazy and you lose flavor, its just pain. And later, it hurts even worse.

What I did is, put a pat on it right after placing it on the grill.

The pat stayed fairly solid, I went ahead and, 8 mins later, turned over the steak with the pat still there. Made a nice buttery sauce for the steak to sizzle in once I turned it over.

Then I put some more on while the other side cooked for another 5 minutes.

It came out medium to medium-well btw. I know, I'm a heathen ;-)...

447 Hey Horde, about the P&G boycott...

Howzabout moving away from Gillette, but letting them know in a polite way why.
Then you can point out that you won't hold it against other P&G products unless they too go over the line.

Isolate Gillette ala Alinsky. Gives P&G something to consider other than "well we lost that customer and are still doing well". A slow ratchet. It's smarter.

Get a good choice ribeye with obvious marbling. Let it sit out for 30 minutes. Season it with enough salt and pepper (many don't season enough). Sear it on medium/high for a few minutes a side at most, then through it in the oven for 4-5 minutes. Or you can try the reverse sear method, that is my new go to.

Then wait a good 5 minutes minimum before cutting into the thing.

We are not heathens. I don't choose Cab with many foods. But almost always with steak. And also really good farmhouse cheddar.

456 A worthy parody, along with several other recent Gillette parodies.
I do notice that Gillette seems to mostly appeal these days to types like the Black Hebrews who don't shave (or bathe regularly), some of whom are too low-T to shave more than once a week like Nathan Phillips. By contrast, the Covington kids were uniformly bathed and shaved (since some nun would punch them into the middle of next week if they weren't presentable).
There is a thing though that has struck me about the Gillette ad. I think they may be surrendering the men's razor market and trying to make lemonade out of their market lemons. Dollar Shave and others have been eating their lunch on Gillette's overpriced 27-blade razors for men. But Gillette also sells almost identical razors- in girly colors - to women. But the women's razors cost twice as much as the ones for men. So that women's razor market is more than twice as profitable to Gillette as the larger men's razor market.

So Gillette may know that the jig is up as for selling razors to average guys. But they can expand their reach to Lefty women to build brand loyalty to them on a political/social agenda. So the lesbians and the gays and the Lefty dudes and the Lefty women who buy razors for themselves as well as their husbands and the people who will reflexively buy the most expensive item on any menu or on any shelf on the principle that pricier-is-better may be the market that Gillette is trying to capture and hold onto against their Dollar Shave competitors who are scooping up the men's razor market over the last few years.
This may actually be a shrewd longterm marketing strategy for Gillette. Gillette doesn't want to sell to guys with cheap Android phones and a Chevy; they want to sell to the freespending libs with new annual iPhone plans and driving BMWs who think it's always better and more class-conscious for status seekers to buy the most expensive name brand on the shelf.
