Trump White House Urging Allies to Prepare For Possible Departure of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Who May Resign from Court to Train Full-Time for the 2020 Olympics

This is the fittest woman in the world. Why would she retire?

The White House is reaching out to political allies and conservative activist groups to prepare for an ailing Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's possible death or departure from the Supreme Court-- an event that would trigger the second bitter confirmation battle of President Donald Trump’s tenure.

...

The White House "is taking the temperature on possible short-list candidates, reaching out to key stakeholders, and just making sure that people are informed on the process," said a source familiar with those conversations, who spoke on background given the delicate nature of the subject. "They're doing it very quietly, of course, because the idea is not to be opportunistic, but just to be prepared so we aren't caught flat-footed."

An Informed and Trusted Source tells me this story is #FakeNews. The tale that's told to me is that yes, routine preparations are being made, but routine preparations are always being made, and this means next to nothing. No one is being "urged" to prepare.

And that this narrative is being hyped up to get clicks from panicked NPCs.

Politico is also filled with NPCs, but NPCs have no morals, and will gladly gaslight other NPCs for the extra penny-a-click they get.

And I guess they also want clicks from gloating PCs like us.

I take the claim that this is mostly #FakeNews to be true. And I know I published a story about this recently but this is another one it has PsyOps value, if nothing else.

I don't mind panicking NPCs myself. And yeah, I wish it weren't #FakeNews. But that's what I'm told.

This past week the adherents of the Party of Science (TM) were all in a Twitter Frenzy promising to devote one day or one week of their own lives to transfer to Ruth Bader GAINZZZburg. The math worked -- if you have thousands of people devoting weeks or months of their life to one person, that one person will live a long time.

Here's what didn't work: Everything. It's stupid. Why even talk about it? Only people who low-key believe in Witchcraft and Binding Spells would even talk so stupidly.

But Party of Science (TM).

And also: What if we all each agreed to energy drain one level from Ruth Bader GAINZZZburg to give it to ourselves, 1st Edition Monster Manual style? We'd give ourselves bonus hit dice.

Hey, why not? The math works. We could reduce her to a 0-level NPC.

What a tough guy. So much in common with tough guy Rahm Emmanuel - another Chicago-area clown whose experience before getting in on the grift amounted to prancing around on stage. 85 Per snopes, there was an article in the santa monica observer last November about RBG telling her clerks she had a recurrence of her melanoma. Snopes noted there had been no public disclosure of melanoma dx earlier just pancreatic cancer and colon.

So she's had three cancers.

As I noted below:

Well, Melanona, when was that first dxd?

So recurrence, with mets to the lungs. Lets see . . . AJCC Cancer staging manual

She's a stage IV M1b at least, I'd guess M1c . . . yeah only about 20% survive 2 years.

If they didn't give her chemo, which they aren't, the surgery was just for definitive dx/palliative care I guess.

The saw spots on her lungs when imaging the ribs. At that point the question is what are those spots benign or not? If not are these mets or another primary? If another primary you may have a shot at surviving. Surgery and chemo and see what happens.

Its mets from the melanoma. So she doesn't have much time left per the published survival curves.

Chemo would kill her at this point. And she damn sure wouldn't be back to work in six weeks.
======
To explain. You don't do chemo on Stage IV metastatic melanoma. You are pretty much done.

IF it had been a lung primary - new cancer, located in only one lobe, you can treat that, and you might get to your five year survival and hope trump doesn't win re election. The whole thing turned on whether it was another independent cancer or a metastatic growth. She's not doing chemo or radiation because there's no point. I mean if she had say mets in her brain, big ones, they might do gamma knife to try and shrink them if she was having bad neurologic symptoms. That's only palliative care not a cure. Palliative - to make your symptoms better. You still aren't going to be cured or extend your time.

Well, its not a as big as deal as you think. You have a lot of redundant lung actually. They did a minimally invasive approach. Worst part was probably the general anesthetic actually.

I did it most likely because they wanted to see what that spot shown on the xray was made of. THe pathology showed melanoma mets. Meaning she's Stage IV - and in reality if you could look at the film you'd probably get an idea how long she'd been stage iv. Note that only 20% or so live 2 years at that stage. She probably at least a year or almost two into that stage already.

I'd think its pretty close to the end.

Prognostication within the next few years is hazardous, and the whole thing is stupid. Gorsuch could drop dead tomorrow from whatever. Shit happens.

So Snopes, screwed the pooch. Snopes proudly noted that she'd NEVER been dix'd with melanoma. So yes. Idiots. However, they didn't, as usual say anything useful about what Ginsburg said herself in her remarks.

The SanTa Monica Newspaper article concluded last year with the speculation that RBG would retired in Jan of 2018. Snopes was like all OH NO SHE ISN"T.

=========
Cancer is staged one through I - V and what that means varies from cancer to cancer type.

For melanoma, ruth's Stage IV is metastatic to at least her lungs. I don't know here blood work so I can't up stage if further. Based upon the published survival curves someone with stage IV metastatic melanoma in the lung like she has been reported to have, has about a 20% chance of surviving two years. She's been stage IV probably for a while now. Probably 6 months at least maybe more than a year.

Don't bet on her making it much longer.

452 If RBG had the courage of her convictions (but of course like most Lefties she doesn't), she would be buried in South Africa along with a copy of their superior Constitution.

454 While "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" was a pretty good song to link to at the bottom, maybe it should have been accompanied by "Sympathy For The Devil". Pleased to meet you. Hope you guess my name.

457 Honestly. I am amazed that she didn't retire under Obama.

Three cancers and she gambled on Hillary!

I bet Hillary wanted her to stay on so Hillary! would have something to trade.

I bet it wasn't RBG's first choice. I bet it was Hillary!

It was Hillary! All along.

460 I've heard down at the Monster and Death Pub that when you drain a target of their life energy, you get a bit of their personality. Is this true? I'm concerned I'll turn into a crotchety, bent over old lady that falls asleep at the drop of a SOTU speech. And who thinks Black people are a lesser race which is why they vote for abortion for all forever.

466 When RBG goes tits up (!),

I want them to take her body to the old 1930's Frankenstein set,

and try to resurrect her with a lightning strike.

Sure, she'll probably wind up looking like buck-toothed piece of burnt bacon, but-

that's more scientific (kinda, sorta) than any of the ideas her numbskull fans are floating.

Who knows? It's not even clear that she ever had melanoma, or what her pancreatic or colonic cancers were. This stuff is tea leaf reading.

468 Solutions!!

Get a sarcophagus built by the ancients!

Or get a Wraith to put more life into Ginsberg!! All you need is a Stargate and a ZPM!

(SG-1 / SG Atlantis references)

Or get Barnabas Collins to bite her!

Then she'd live forever, but could only attend night sessions of the Court.
