I would agree, basically the opposite of what the military is all about.
If a soldier doesn't like the orders, he doesn't just quit or even worse, disobey them and try to force his will. You can't really run a war with that sort of independence.

Don't forget that PDT (like a certain commentor that we all know and love and who made the Wall of Shame last week without intending to) attended a private military academy in his youth. This is how "managing your manager" is talked about by people who either never worked in a competitive industry, or who never worked for a real (aggressive) manager. It used to be called the goldilocks option, and I have seen it done many times, (not to me, or by me, but in departments where I worked) and the manager generally gets pissed and explains that if the person can't get with the program maybe he is too thick to understand how to do the job right.
So i am skeptical, but Ace is spot on that DJT would just pick option A. People who are competent (and not suck up politicians) know what they want, and do not back down based on hysteria and smoke.

It's not like we're $22 trillion in debt already, with trillion-dollar+ yearly deficits, a shitload of nearly-insolvent entitlement programs, and several states (CA, IL, etc.) and territories (PR) which are functionally bankrupt and waiting for their multi-billion-dollar bailouts from Uncle Sugar. And it's also not like we already have 3/4 of CA's "immigrant" population (both legal and illegal) living on welfare, and over 60% of immigrants nationally on welfare.
We obviously have money to burn!
