Two Great Chinese Words for SJWs and Limousine Liberals

Baizuo, which I think is pronounced BAI-tzwuh, meaning "white left:"

Baizuo [Chinese & IPA characters omitted], literally "white left"]) is a derogatory Chinese neologism used to refer to Western leftist liberal elites. It refers to the left faction in the culture wars in Western politics, implying support of multiculturalism, political correctness and positive discrimination.

In more than 400 answers submitted by Zhihu users during 2015 to May 2017, the term is defined as referring to those who are hypocritically "obsessed with political correctness" in order to "satisfy their own feeling of moral superiority" motivated from an "ignorant and arrogant" Western-centric worldview who "pity the rest of the world and think they are saviours". A related term is shengmu ([Chinese characters omitted], literally "holy mother", title for the mother of an emperor), a sarcastic reference to those whose political opinions are guided by emotions and a hypocritical show of selflessness and empathy, represented by celebrities such as J. K. Rowling and Emma Watson.

Well, the Chinese will be ruling us in 50 years. So at least we know they'll be putting the SJWs in work-camps for us.

And speaking of baizuo...

Sure took them a long time to tell us what dozens of witnesses were reporting, huh?

And notice the French media didn't report this either -- but they surely knew as well.

Willowed from previous thread:

For those of you who requested the Official AoSHQ Classical Music Playlist (TM) files (link in nic), my nearby Costco didn't have the 32 GB flash drives I use, so I had to order them. Then when they come in I have to get each one synched to the playlist on my computer, which isn't a short process. So please be patient with me.

Right now I have only one (1) drive and that one I'll be mailing out today to a requester who's going on deployment soon. I hope you'll understand.

For those of you who either have V.1 or have requested, you can play them any way you want, but there actually is an order to playing them.

There won't be any "us" in 50 years. By then the baizuo will have succeeded in wiping themselves out along with most other Americans. If the Chinese will be ruling over anything, they'll be ruling over a combination of Mexicans and Muslims, and those groups aren't even high minded enough to embrace ideals (however hypocritically) that would cause them to be SJWs. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/homelessness-on-the-rise-in-some-u-s-cities/

!!!!

This has been a problem on and off for as long as I can remember. It was a terrible problem in the 80s, all the way through 1992, and then it seemed to miraculously get better until around 2001 when it became such a huge major big tremendous problem. Luckily it solved itself again from 2009 until now, when it's become a terrible human crisistragedy.

Man!!!!! I wish the media would just come out and TELL us what keeps causing it to be a big problem and then not be a big problem so we knew what to do about it. Like, I'm just spitballing, but from the timeframe I listed above, it almost looks like if we just elect a Democratic President, we can solve homelessness.

I wish they'd just tell us that so I can go do it. I mean I'm glad the economy's better under Trump but obviously he's taking away people's homes so I never would have written in Ted Cruz in 2016 if I'da known.

Taking into account cultural differences in humor, Western Asian protagonist vs traditional Chinese protagonist, the film taking place in Singapore not China proper...that's just crazy! And rich.

============

The only way impeachment works politically is if the president is so unpopular that a healthy majority of the nation actively want impeachment to happen.

Andrew Johnson's popularity was most likely somewhere in the low 20%s when he got impeached, and he still got off in the trial.

Impeachment is such an empty and useless gesture that just eats up government time.

I say they go for it, that way no bipartisan garbage gets passed and Trump is able to continue to remake the administrative state.

284 >>You don't need a reason to impeach.
By now it should be perfectly obvious that any reason is good enough for the Dems.
All you need are the votes.

I'm old enough to remember when Republicans thought it was a good idea to impeach Bill Clinton.

They couldn't convict, Clinton became a sympathetic character and increased in popularity and the Republicans got hammered in the next election leading to Newt's retirement.

Impeachment is always theoretically possible but it is a political act not a legal one. There may be a few Democrats from safe districts crazy ass Maxine Waters but there are probably many more who realize this would be an extremely bad idea.

300 In more than 400 answers submitted by Zhihu users during 2015 to May 2017, the term is defined as referring to those who are hypocritically "obsessed with political correctness" in order to "satisfy their own feeling of moral superiority" motivated from an "ignorant and arrogant" Western-centric worldview who "pity the rest of the world and think they are saviours".

That pity is a form of survivor guilt or at least akin to us. Leftists just feel guilty about belonging to a superior civilization.

That's fine as long as they make a personal decision to help out the inferior ones. The problem is when they find out those other civilizations are incorrigible, they opt for the solution of destroying our civilization. At least then everyone will be equal and their guilt will cease. And we've allowed these evil lunatics to move in this direction for decades. In the past they've actually tried the reverse: trying to export abortion and visectomies into third world countries, but I guess that didn't work out. The left has this obsessive attitude of "one of us has got to go".

Both "high crimes" and "misdemeanors" are crimes, which makes impeachment a legal process.

But if you wanna watch a Leftard's head go all 'splodey, ax them what crime PDT is guilty of. They'll repeat their NPC coding and say "collusion." Then ask them what is the statute number of collusion and when was the law passed that made "collusion" a crime.

364 I can only imagine what is being said on CNN and MSNBC when Fox has spent the last hour describing Cohen's sentencing as a huge problem for the President. They have Jonathan Turley on as their legal expert, who believes Cohen got a light sentence. Cohen apparently stated during his sentencing that he was apologizing to the court for allowing himself to be dragged down the dark path of Donald Trump by trying to cover up his dirty deeds.

So the lawyer is 1. pleading guilty to campaign finance law violations in which no violation occurred( this has been stated numerous times in interviews of the current FEC chair) 2. blaming his client for his own decision to violate the non violation.
Donald Trump has nothing to do with Cohen's tax evasion and taxi medallion problems, but I'm sure the media will try to tie that in.

424 here is my understanding of the Theresa May brexit situation -- tell me, is this correct?

The UK public, and the parliament, is currently about even split along three lines. The factions are:

1. Hardline Brexiteers, who want "Out" at all costs, even a "hard Brexit" -- i.e. no deal. And they favor take-no-prisoners negotiations with the EU, and will say "Fuck you" to the EU if they don't cave to UK demands.

2. Softline Brexiteers, like Theresa May, who give lip serivce to brexit, but really are globalists at heart, and are willing to sign with with a separate agreement with the EU that really isn't much different from the original EU agreement in the first place. AKA "centrists."

3. Socialist-globalist-fascist, who demand that the UK stay in the EU, and want to ignote the vote and dispense with democracy, and keep the Brits enslave to the EU bureaucrats forever.

The problem is this: the "centrists" are really only about 10%-15% of the population, and yet they are in power, as a untenable compromise. 55% of the country are hardline Brexiteers, but they only have about 40% in Parliament, so they can't put in their guy.

meanwhile, the fascist left is looking to exploit the fracturing of the conservatives into hard and soft, and trying to usher in communist mania Jeremy Corbyn, if the Conservatives disintegrate.

Do I have this correct?

Here's a 2017 Sports Illustrated article making the case there are 15 backup QBs better than Kaepernick:
http://tinyurl.com/ydz7sadm

but he says that's not the whole story. By his analysis Kaepernick is not good in the pocket, and when he starts to move, he takes his eyes off the field and drops his throwing stance. By the time he's set up to throw again, he is JUST THEN looking down field and having to mentally process all the changes that happened while he was moving around with his eyes and mind off of everything but his scramble.

Of course, we ended up with 2 parties within like 5 years of the Constitution being implemented, so... bit of a misread on that one.

She does not know how to dress for her body type, I'm convinced. Just wearing Chanel all the time will not solve all your fashion sins. She has a boyish boxy body and knobby knees. I'm not sure the hardline Brexiters are an absolute majority. 55% seems high.

But I do believe they're a higher percentage than the other two factions.

The Brits I work with are anti-Brexit but they're technocrats with real skill, so in the minority back home

Posted by: Mark Andrew Edwards, buy ammo at December 12, 2018 01:11 PM (xJa6I)

470 The problem is this: the "centrists" are really only about 10%-15% of the population, and yet they are in power, as a untenable compromise.

Well...I'm not sure.

There's the Euroskeptic Tories.

There's the globalist Tories.

There's the Brexit-voting nationalist Labour.

There's the rusted-on Socialist Labour, not mutually exclusive with the former.

The Brexit vote was nothing like Tory vs Labour, the traditional 'Labour' shops outside London went heavily for Brexit while the banksters and those dependent on them went heavily against.

There's some great lectures (youtube 'Gresham College') on the history of the Brit EU thing. It was into the '70s Labour that was anti-EU and the Tories that were pro-EU. There is a nationalist element in Labour, and a consequent globalist element in the Conservatives.

Corbyn's been playing his brexit close to his vest, though I don't think he'd peel off too much of the globalist-Conservative vote he might well get back a bunch of the nationalist Labour vote.
