"A few weeks ago, I came back to my apartment from a weekend trip and was confronted by one of my roommates who asked if I had guns in the house," she told the Free Beacon. "After being told far too many lies to count, my roommates finally admitted that they searched my closet, under my bed, and all of my drawers in pursuit of finding my guns." While she was given several different explanations for why the roommates entered and searched her room, the 24-year-old said she felt her political beliefs and where she is from played a significant role in the roommates' actions. "When I asked them why they were in my room to begin with, they each came up with completely contradicting stories (none of which made any sense), but one comment struck me in particular: ‘We saw that you had a MAGA hat and come on, you're from Alabama… so we just kind of assumed that you had something,'" she said. "I asked why they didn't just call me and ask me before intruding. One of the girls responded that fear took over her body and she felt compelled to search my room until she found proof… I cannot make this up." ... I used to come back from weekends away to find my closet ransacked, also my jewelry box, and then the worst offense was my vaseline jar, (that I used as chap-stick because better) had been gouged out by my one fatassed roomie who loved her some anal.

The same thing is true of "discrimination". To discriminate is *actually* a good thing. Unless you wouldn't want to discriminate between a glory hole and a light socket.
The word means "to tell the difference". My roommate horror story was from my time in the military. She didn't shower with any regularity. It was absolutely disgusting. My college roommates were my teammates. So, I had no problems other than some slight personality conflicts that were completely manageable. My neighbors in the dorms were assholes though. They like to do their stomp routines after midnight when I had to be up early for class.

Anyhoo, this person didn't think she could make it all the way down the hall to the bathroom in the middle of the night. So she'd pee in a coffee cup, then set it on the desk and leave it until morning. By which time the whole room smelled like piss.
After problems with her pretty much daily, I wound up getting her evicted for stealing, from me, and also from other people whose rooms she'd break into.
I don't think my experience was typical. But I can confirm first-hand, young female roommates do crazy sh!t.

In any case, since the suffix "-phobe" has become so popular, the question arises, "why should a bunch of narrow mind gunphobes be able to deprive me of my rights? They should be required to undergo an anti-gunphobe training program".

I have no problem with that. In fact, I would far prefer the standard to be every single appointee is deemed automatically fired, we can term it resigned if that makes people feel better, and then the new President decides who he wants to keep and can unresign them as need be.

Take a look at the voting by county all over the country. It's a better look than using the states.
You'll see a sea or red with sections on the coasts that are blue and scattered blue conclaves in the inner area.
Seems liberals like large bodies of water.
The Country over all is red. If the libs were to secede they would have a tough time living on their own.

There used to be some fairly common barracks remedies for that specific issue. If the chain of command didn't lay down the law one solution involved soap in a sock, another a scrub down that removed layers of skin. Usually the remedy only need to be applied once.
I seem to recall this being passed along very early in basic training as a general word of advice to anyone who might be a bit lazy.

She obtained an unrestricted License to Carry in Somerville, MA which is what 93% of permit holders in MA have. In MA each city/town issues licenses and some, like Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Watertown, place "restrictions" on Licenses to Carry effectively making them "no carry licenses to carry". So if you are a resident of the 9 or so fiefdoms in MA which issue restricted licenses you are a second class citizen compared to all other residents of the state. Visitors to your city/town with permits from out of town have more carry rights than you might have in your own city/town.

It happens in other less precise forms with coupons and discounts, the rationale mostly being that the kind of people that seek out the better deals weren't willing to pay full price in the first place. Obviously the random shop doesn't know your exact financial situation to give you the optimal discount though.
The way unis have taken advantage of it is by overcharging nearly everyone and the using the financial aid system to cut the costs down for the people unable/unwilling to pay full price. So most people volunteer their financial status to qualify for aid, and the only people that don't are those who wouldn't qualify anyway.
