No one. We're all just stunned to find out that people working for Bill Kristol, who is himself funded by leftwing billionaire Pierre Omidyar, are in the tank for the Democrat Party.

There's a runoff election coming up in Mississippi, which the GOP was expected to win, but which has become uncomfortably close since the Republican candidate, Cindy Hyde-Smith, said something which did not seem racial but which of course everyone is claiming is So Totally Racial:

As secretary of agriculture, Mike Espy fought to block the promotion of a department employee because his young daughter's preexisting heart condition was believed to be a potential financial burden on the government, according to documents reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon.
Espy, now running for U.S. Senate in Mississippi, was confirmed to head the Department of Agriculture in January 1993 during the Clinton administration. It was after Espy took office that James Patterson, an agricultural economist for the department, says he learned that his promotion to the Foreign Agriculture Service, a department within USDA, was being stalled even though he had passed all the required tests with flying colors.
The reason for the USDA's decision was Patterson's daughter, who was born in 1989 and immediately went into surgery for congenital heart disease.
"My problems began at the Agriculture Department when Mike Espy came in January 1993," Patterson, now retired from the department, explained in an interview. "I was in the Foreign Service there at the time, and he decided he would demote me based on my daughter's disability."

Pixy did a server swap last night. So a lot of people are having trouble with clicking the comments button and the page won't load if you access through acecomments.mu.nu.

Likely fix is to cleary out your cache. I also set my temporary internet files to check for new versions of stored pages everytime I visit the page, and those two things seem to have fixed it for me

146 No anxiety attack, Gradually, just a serious look at things. And some incumbents lost, it wasn't all retirements. And if you observed the campaign, and knew what many Dem insiders expected, it was fairly shocking.

Senate, in a way, is worse. It was teed up for one of the biggest gainzzz by any party in many years, due to circumstances and timing. Nearly complete bust. The numbers matter there and a rare opportunity for dominance was missed.

All this leaves aside what typical GOP congresscritters have been useful for the last 2 years, which is very little.

One place or two you might find believable, but it was every race. Election patterns like that just aren't happenstance.

I took Tylenol earlier. I don't have the luxury of using the heating pad yet. I'm determined to finish this side prep and pie. Oh, and I forgot I have to prep the turkey to sit in the fridge uncovered overnight so it can air dry.

I know you've never, ever supposed to drink alcohol while on Tylenol, but I'm tempted to have a shot of something. So I won't care about the pain so much.
