German Organization Withdraws Human Rights Award from Womens March Due to Its Founders' and Leaders' Antisemitism
The think tank for the German social democratic party withdrew its Human Rights Award to the Women's March USA in Washington, DC, on Thursday because doctoral students associated with the foundation accused the organizers of the march of hardcore antisemitism and support of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions campaign targeting the Jewish state. "We believe that the Women's March USA does not meet the criteria of this award, as its organizers have repeatedly attracted attention through antisemitic statements, the trivialization of antisemitism and the exclusion of Zionists and Jews since Women's March USA's establishment in 2017. Women's March USA does not constitute an inclusive alliance," wrote members of the scholarship working group, called Critique of Anti-Semitism and Jewish Studies, from the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in a public letter. The foundation, which generates ideas and policies for the Social Democratic Party, a governing party in Chancellor Angela Merkel's coalition government, was slated to present its Human Rights Award to the Women's March USA on November 12. According to the foundation award's mission statement, it honors a "commitment to a strong, active and inclusive civil society." .. The letter stated that "Since its inception in 2017, Women's March USA has attracted media attention due to the antisemitism of its board members and chair women. Linda Sarsour, a member of the board and former president of Women's March USA, is notorious for her propagation of antisemitism toward Israel. This transpired not only through her statement from March 2017 claiming that feminists could not be Zionists simultaneously and that Zionists were Nazis, but also through her demonization and delegitimization of Israel, as well as the application of a double standard. She also calls herself a 'very staunch supporter of the BDS movement.' These forms of antisemitism were also visible at the Berlin Women's March in January 2018. The organizers did not show any attempt of critique or disassociation."In case you didn't hear, McSally has conceded to Sinema.

What was more important was trying to convince themselves that the Women's March people were more devoted to anti-imperialism, anti-colonialism, some variety of socialism, and that the anti-Semitism wasn't their main thing. That these people were their co-religionists in all of the above.
That they are coming around to the fact that they were wrr..., w-w-wr...w-roo...that these guys had other priorities is a step in the right direction.

I don't know much about McSally. But I've also been hearing that this election wiped out alot of Rino nevertrumpers. With the notable exception of Romney. It sucks that they had to lose to democrats, but in the long run the GOP did clean out alot of the dead weight and left Trump with people he can work with.
And one more thing. I understand the conventional wisdom is that the seats the dems won in the house will be tough to defend next time around. The map and the demos were pretty favorable to them this election. (Which is why although they made gains, they really should have cleaned up.)

In VA, we HELD the two seats left by retirees. (In one of those the Dems and moonbat billionaires spent over $10 million.)
Then incumbents lost 2 seats, including Dave Brat's.

Saw a figure this morning that historically 95% of the fires in CA are 'man-caused'. This doesn't necessarily mean arson, could even be a spark from some metal hitting the road at high speed.
CA has too many people for such a fragile environment filled with spotted owls that don't engage in coitus enough. It's only going to get worse if they don't research the meaning of the word 'proactive'.

One of the big fires in Sonoma CA last fall was started by a twice-deported illegal alien named Gonzalez, who admitted he started the fire to keep warm. He was arrested.
And another illegal alien was arrested last summer for starting a huge (78 square miles) fire in Colorado. He was also arrested. His case is still in the court system.
