FOX CALLS CONTROL OF HOUSE FOR DEMOCRATS?

Welp, I guess it's over, as far as the House goes.

They say this is based on the raw vote plus analysis of voting patterns.

Seems weird to me but whatever.

They took an hour and half to call for Braun, who was 7% up, but now they're calling the entire House?

446 I think if one really wants to know how various races are going, look at the reporting.

I believe the cities tend to report earlier than outlying areas. If the R is even with the D or close, good chance the R is going to win, because rural areas trend conservative.

I think D's depend on running up insurmountable leads in the big cities in order to make it impossible for rural areas to make up the gap.

My two cents.

PA GOP is a cesspool through and through. My local guy Simmons is pretty damn good (i hope he works his way up to a national career some day), but the rest are just scumbags.

I was hoping the Trump/Kavanaugh effect would be stronger, but no dice.

In all media I've seen, the Dems (Wolfe, Wilde, Casey, etc) all look shiny and happy and hopeful.

The Reps all tried to look bitter and yelly and angry (in a sad attempt to ape what they think Trump is, but really he isn't). I think that went a long way towards what we're seeing.

Night's not over, but the gaps are pretty damn big across the board at 50-60% in.

Jeeze, some of you people lie to yourselves as badly as the progs
do. Cruz emerged from nowhere to dethrone the RINO-in-the-Wings,
Lieutenant Governor David "It's my Turn" Dewhurst, with a grassroots
insurgency.

He then took 2nd in the 2016 primaries.

But sure, electoral poison. Ok.

Yea, her candidate is losing.

This is not to pile on Swift. She was getting pummeled as bad as Trump and she's only in her 20s.

Still, I'm glad she will not be seen as the party's savior...which was pretty ridiculous even when it happened. I figured all those people who registered were pissed off that Taylor was telling their state what to do. Maybe I was kinda right.

This is NOT a purge of RINO putzes..
As I tried to explain the other day.. this is 100% anti-Trump backlash in otherwise somewhat safe districts.
My district - IL-06 (Roskam) tonight is feeling the backlash against PDT. simple as that.. suburban women.. they fucking hate Trump for no logical reason... unemployment is down.. pay is up.. but.. they hate Trump.. because what? pre-existing conditions or something..
Trump WAS on the ballot tonight.. and in some districcts like mine, it doomed reliable conservative candidates. Roskam - gone! Hultgren - gone!
So, don't be so surprised with these predictions of a Dem led House.. welcome Speaker Pelosi!
That said.. legislatively.. Trump will not get anything passed for two years.. maybe not so bad since he got a lot done the first two..
The worst is the committees.. they will fucking harass Trump relentlessly..
Sad.

If true . . . Hallelujah!!!!! I was pretty sure he'd win. Buh-Bye Nelson - finally!

What about DeSantis?

552 This is NOT a purge of RINO putzes..
Sad.

For ALL the massive amounts of money--and media clout--they spent, did they *really* gain much?

The media's clout is now exhausted, even low information pals of mine see it.

McCaskill is hitting the number she needs in St. Louis County and City, so I understand why they aren't calling the race, but she's running 10-20 behind in these rural counties. Just unreal.

558 @Wyatt Earp>>>Sinema is a train wreck, but my friend in AZ tells me McSally is a female Romney. He preferred Kelli Ward.

I think most of us preferred Dr Ward. McSally played up her "first female combat pilot" creds. Most of us in the real armed forces who know up close and personal what MUD looks like like weren't that impressed.

560 I just looked at my own local precinct, which has fully reported with approximately 740 total votes.

They picked the Democrat for Governor and U.S. Senator.

They picked the Republican for U.S. Representative, PA Senator, and PA Representative.

So they went for the incumbents right down the line.

562 Wallet whipping. Many races the Dems outspent the Pubbies 8 to 1.

Hollywood and Soros bought those seats.

564 Fitzpatrick is up by 5000 votes over Wallace with 83.5% counted. Thank God.

That's about the only good news in PA I've seen tonight. And Fitzpatrick is a GOPe squish.

Wallace, as I've said, is the grandson of FDR's Commie VP.

565 All in all seems like about a tie overall. Hard to make any grand pronouncements about a referendum or mandate. Half the country still wants to destroy it and hates the half trying to save it. Two more years of trench warfare with these psychopaths.

To use the WW1 analogy, I think of this as a political Verdun. The Demokaisers gained a little bit, but for all they spent, hardly a victory at all.

568 Oklahoma City has a democrat Congressional representative. This hasn't happened since 1975. Not happy.

569 I count 25 seats outside the West Coast eventually flipping(net) that were not affected by the call(including CO-6 and Yoder in KS).
Seems they should have been able to call the Senate as well based on this.
