Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | The Morning Rant"So, to recap, after months of trolling by President Trump, who likes to call her 'Pocahontas', Sen. Warren released the results of her DNA test. Yes, shd did. And it turns out that she isn't 1/2 Cherokee or 1/4th Cherokee or 1/8th Cherokee or even 1/16th Cherokee. No, you have to go all the way down to 1/1024th to match the percentage, which means that about 10 generations ago, one of Warren's ancestors kissed an Indian on the lips, and that's the extent of Warren's native American heritage. In other words, nothing. She's 1023/1024 white bread American. Heck, *I've* got more Indian blood than she does, and I'm a gorilla. And now Warren and her defenders are out there running a victory lap like it proved she was right, when actually it's the exact opposite. If it proves anything at all. Because supposedly there's not much Amerindian DNA in the databases that they can use for comparison, so in reality, the 1/1024th is probably some sort of Latin American DNA and that's as close as they can match it to anything. And you gotta love Donnie Two Scoops. When the journos asked him to comment on the test results, he just said 'who cares?' and walked away." So, lets try and get it right. Go read the actual report for yourself.
They actually estimate that the tiny fraction of DNA that matches SOUTH AMERICAN native DNA to be from 8 generations ago. They then apply a range of uncertainty to say from as recently as 6 generations ago, to as far back as 10 generations ago. So, it's far more accurate to say she's likely 1/256th native american, which is virtually indistinguishable from zero and 1/1024. Furthermore, 8 generations ago completely obliterates her "my mom was discriminated against for being an indian" bullshit. Just sayin'. We're not helping ourselves by giving the media this exact out. Kashoggi is not an American, and he was not killed in the United States or by Americans. Just because he worked for the National Laughingstock justifies the media's and official Washington's hair on fire?

Maybe a prayer for his daughters who lost their father again, permanently this time. Whatever else, he was their dad. And for his grandchildren who lost any hope of having a grandpa. I seem to recall Obama going golfing (teeing off within 10 min) right after commenting on a journalist being beheaded by ISIS. Also, Kashoggi is/was not a journalist. He was an opinion writer, a Muslim Brotherhood/AQ propagandist in the West. As Scott Adams just pointed out, KSA does public executions, limb chopping, etc. all the time, so why should this guy cause a furor --- and why should the US harm itself (cancelled deal) over this guy? The punishment doesn't fit the crime. Adams suggested KSA allies shut down their embassies for a month, cut off all contact; a KSA timeout to demonstrate concern. Same as why H-Wood continues to pander to a population that amounts to a rounding error: being liked by the right people is more important than ROI or profit. It's unreal that Air Claire McKill can sit with a straight face and accuse Hawley of embedding the Project Veritas guy in her campaign. Hawley had zero to do with that. 33 So, lets try and get it right.
I like this new attitude where Politicians who used to pontificate and pretend that they were somehow better than us and entitled to make momentous decisions about the Country.
Now they're all openly acting like the marriage cheating, pandering, pervs and busybodies that they always were. Now we can judge them more fairly and they don't have to lie as much. Unless of course they NEED to be elected cause they don't have any other skills. McKaskill I'm looking at you. Yeah if you told the truth you wouldn't get elected. And why is that so bad? The House and Senate were not supposed to be career positions. Never was intended to be that way and we've tried a number of ways to stop it from happening. But guess what, the pols keep vetoing those bills for some reason. Time for some way to be developed where they get voted out after so many terms or something. There's nothing good happening from people 80 years old holding office for 30 years and being borderline demented. With no way to stop it. Posted by: jakee308 at October 17, 2018 11:56 AM (sgZqZ) 260

Turkey has bigger fish to fry. They have been moving increasingly into the Russia/Iran sphere and away from the US and NATO. Trump has put crushing sanctions on Russia which of course the left thinks aren't enough cause collusion and taken the gloves off with Iran. Sanctions on Iranian oil, the only thing keeping the country afloat, are set to hit on November 4th. Trump is pushing for a worldwide ban on Iranian oil and has encouraged the Saudis to increase oil production to make up for the loss of Iranian oil on the world market. And then there's Syria. A lot of moving pieces here and the only thing that seems certain is what we have been told so far is not the whole story. Posted by: JackStraw at October 17, 2018 12:04 PM (/tuJf) 295

And this backs into the REAL problem the Dem's have in Texas -- they have ZERO credible candidates for statewide office sitting on the bench, because Texas Democrats have not won a single statewide election since 1994. 24 years now - think about that. Wendy Davis was an obscure State House member when someone decided she was telegenic anough and mouthy enough to win. (she wasn't) And then Beto, an obscure congressman from El Paso, was given the same role this time. News Flash - El Paso is so far removed from the rest of Texas that NO politician from El Paso has EVER been elected to a state wide office, not from either party, not in 150 years. El Paso is that weird Mexican city that Texas ended up with title to somehow, but which nobody in the rest of the state every pays any attention to, or even thinks about, ever. In the .mil this subject came up. The consensus was, some of the pols are not who they seem to be.
Bill was widely considered a good guy to work for. Felonia ... not so much. The rumors you've heard... are apparently, quite true. GW was a good guy, and would go out of his way to make sure staff and the help were treated OK. For example, holiday schedules to ensure they could spend time with family. AlGore is apparently a real douche, total twatwaffle. Posted by: Common Tater at October 17, 2018 12:21 PM (UDoTZ) 403

El Paso is right across the border from Juarez, right? Does the Rio Grande separate the two towns, or just a border fence?"
Yes, the Rio Grande is the border. Trivia - the river in that area mostly runs through steep canyons, such as in the Big Bend region, but the area of El Paso has plains on both sides, and supposedly the area has been occupied since the end of the last ice age by agricultural Indian communities. Stay with me, Lord, for I desire to love you very much, and always be in your company. Stay with me, Lord, if you wish me to be faithful to you. Treasury employee arrested for leaking Manafort/Gates records.
Dunno if this is part of DOJ's famous leak jihad. SSCI security guy Wolfe plead to the single count (which was a process crime) against him - the Keystone Coup online cult investigators are wrestling over this. I confess that, so far, with only quick glances, I don't even understand what the various camps are arguing. I am surprised Wolfe wasn't charged with leaking classified info. An entire FISA warrant affidavit is so classified, Congress can't see them (well, sort of). But leaking one to the press ..... is not worth an Espionage Act charge? I don't know about that. FenelonSpoke, thank you so much for the beautiful prayer. And thank you, everyone for the prayers and the words of kindness. It helps to know I'm not alone. You know, in the past when I had heard that someone's loved one committed suicide, I froze. I didn't know what to say. We just found out yesterday afternoon and I've only told a few people about my brother-in-law's death, but I see the same look on their faces that I felt on mine. People can sympathize with you when it's cancer or a car accident that claims a life. This is different. It's like they're looking for an exit to the conversation as soon as you say the word. I just want to tell people not to back away. You don't have to say anything. I understand, there's nothing you can say. Just listen for a bit. Thank you all for listening. You're good people. A little earthy sometimes but good hearts. Posted by: NavyMom at October 17, 2018 12:45 PM (SJ7zT) 438
