Thank you, Hordians. We knew the prognosis for Aida was poor, but she lost neither her spirit or her appetite. Today she was let out to exercise. The neighbor was out working with their dog and my guess is that Aida got excited, started running the fence line and broke her leg, already weakened by osteosarcoma.
I took her to the emergency vet clinic and waited for Her Majesty and together we sat with Aida through the last act of love. Her last sensation was hearing our gentle voices and feeling our hands stroking her.
Please spare a thought for Her Majesty now. She's as tough as nails and has been in the game for 48 years but she's also part Irish.

I think Ford could have been assaulted, but NOT by Judge Kavanaugh. Political hacks got involved and grafted the incident onto him. Now it's blowing up in their faces.
Judge Kavanaugh's lawyer seems to have something they will release on Monday at the hearing that completely ends this. I'm betting it's either 1) a documented alibi that Judge Kavanaugh could not have possibly been present during the incident or 2) documented proof that someone else did it (maybe it was reported to the police way back when after all and they made an arrest).

But I still say, for economics sake, and the ability to scale up the operation quickly, chippers need to augment, if not replace, the helicopters.
I know everyone around here digs the Pinochet style, but I am thinking about the budget. Helicopters are expensive, you could chip 20 traitors in the time it would take for one ride to 5,000 feet.

Two possibilities I could think of:1) A written statement from a witnesses that they were present at a party when Ford was assaulted but Judge Kavanaugh was not, or:2) We don't know the day, month, or week, but we know the claim is that he was 17 when this happened. Maybe for the year of HS he was 17 during, every weekend he was at sports practice, debate team practice, SAT prep class, etc. I assume a go-getter like the Judge was very busy after school hours, you don't get into Yale by slacking off.
Again this is all just spitballing but I think his lawyer's got something good for us.

Kavanaugh's accuser, Professor Christine Blasey Ford, went to Holton-Arms when she claims a drunken Kavanaugh molested her at a private party when he was a student in the early 1980s at Georgetown Prep less than 10 miles away from Holton-Arms. Kavanaugh has forcefully denied the charges, and his friends have also said they never saw him do anything wrong.
In another Facebook post, Holton-Arms alum Maggie Quiroga Mainor wrote, "If you have any connections from back in 1978 to 1982, please contact ASAP. I'm in touch w(i)th WaPo and other papers who want to support Dr. Ford."
A third Holton-Arms alum, Sabah Fatima, wrote on Facebook, "Hi! I'm looking for Cristina King Miranda. My very dear friend from childhood, Amna Nawaz, is at PBS newshour and would love to talk to her."
She added, "As the mob closes around Dr. Ford, as she goes into hiding, as her life changes forever, please do everything you can to ensure justice is done."
On her Facebook page, Nawaz posted an unsigned note from a former pal of Ford who said the alleged incident "was spoken about for days afterwards in school."
The Senate Judiciary Committee is hoping to get Kavanaugh and Ford at a Monday hearing to clear up the issue, but Ford is threatening to stay away unless the FBI investigates her charge and vague details. The committee and President Trump said the FBI isn't planning to investigate.
The social media dragnet comes just days after a woman helping Ford's lawyer emailed Kavanaugh's classmates also seeking dirt.
That memo on behalf of lawyer Debra Katz said, "Probably more so than Ms. Blasey Ford, many of us knew and hung out with Brett, Mark Judge, and their friends, we went to the same parties, to beach week, etc. It sounds like we likely had many more interactions with him than Ms. Blasey Ford. I have never met her, but the story that she is telling sounds plausible to me, and I believe her. Assuming that she is telling the truth, the odds are good that there may be other women who had a similar experience, and I am reaching out to you to help find out if this is the case."

Every point you make is correct. I live in a state where a Democrat had a good shot of taking a Republican seat in the Senate. This clusterfuck ended that possibility. That's probably not an outlier.
Given how squishy Republican cucks normally are it is understandable why many are upset with Grassley, but this was truly a case of giving them the rope. And, no, it won't "scar" Kavanaugh, and will make their next attempt to derail a Trump nominee all the more suspect.

The Senate Judiciary Committee is hoping to get Kavanaugh and Ford
at a Monday hearing to clear up the issue, but Ford is threatening to
stay away unless the FBI investigates her charge and vague details. The
committee and President Trump said the FBI isn't planning to
investigate.
The social media dragnet comes just days after a woman helping Ford's lawyer emailed Kavanaugh's classmates also seeking dirt.
That memo on behalf of lawyer Debra Katz said, "Probably more so
than Ms. Blasey Ford, many of us knew and hung out with Brett, Mark
Judge, and their friends, we went to the same parties, to beach week,
etc. It sounds like we likely had many more interactions with him than
Ms. Blasey Ford. I have never met her, but the story that she is telling
sounds plausible to me, and I believe her. Assuming that she is telling
the truth, the odds are good that there may be other women who had a
similar experience, and I am reaching out to you to help find out if
this is the case."

They lost Trey Adams, SR LT, for most of the season because of a back issue, he is expected to go top 10 in the Draft. That hurt.
But they did win by 14 at Utah in their blackout night game. A very hard place to win. So I will cut the OL some slack for now.
Browning has to be more accurate, because the RS Freshman, Jake Hoener (sp?) who came in for him in clean up time two weeks ago was driving nails at 30 yards. Absolutely perfect passes, hitting his receivers on the dead run. And there are 3 other highly rated QB's behind them.
Browning won't play on Sundays, but he is a class guy all the way and still a very good college QB.
Miles Gaskin last week set the all-time rushing record for UW, breaking Napoleon Kauffman's record that stood for nearly 30 years. Expect his name to be called a lot this year, once again. Worth the price of admission to watch Gaskin run.

A House Democrat called on his colleagues Wednesday to "rise up" if Republican senators push forward with Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation without hearing from his sexual assault accuser, Christine Blasey Ford.
"For the men and women of the House of Representatives, we must rise up in disgust and anger and make certain that our voice is clear," Rep. John Garamendi, D-Calif., said during an interview with CNN. "Get the facts out. Give this woman the benefit of the doubt. Don't treat her as so many women have been treated time after time in courtroom after courtroom."
Only the Senate has advise and consent responsibilities under the Constitution, rendering the House powerless to express any concerns over nominees named by the president for certain administration positions.
Instead, Garamendi suggested that he and other House lawmakers march over to the Senate because Kavanaugh's nomination was a "defining moment in the #MeToo movement."
Ford publicly accused Kavanaugh Sunday of drunkenly forcing himself on her during a high school house party in the 1980s when she was 15 and he was 17. Kavanaugh has "categorically and unequivocally" denied the claim.
Kavanaugh is scheduled to answer questions about the alleged incident on Monday during a public session of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Ford does not want to testify in front of the panel until the FBI has investigated her accusation.
President Trump on Wednesday described Kavanaugh as an "an outstanding man," saying it was "very hard" for him "to imagine that anything happened."
Garamendi dismissed Trump's defense of Kavanaugh, given the president's "long history of facing this precise issue."
"He cannot and should not duck his responsibility for a full and fair investigation of the allegations that have been made by professor Ford," Garamendi told CNN of Trump

Cosmic Charlie, I don't know which season this episode was from, but the patriarch got busted for fraud and the Banana Stand got burned down by his apparently-the-only-semi-responsible son.
The part where one useless brother was in the office in his bathrobe putting slices of sandwich bread into a shredder was of particular humorous note.
Farce is hard to pull off well, but this one might have promise.

The texts have nothing to do with either, other than timeframe, totally benign. And being an unclassed data system, there is nothing to review or declass/redact. To claim otherwise is to claim some skeevy shiite was in fact going on.
WRT to the rest - the direction was to release unredacted form. Directing publication on the dept FOIA webpage is content nuetral. Or is Sessions also prohibited from seeing public information about RUSSIA.
