Plus, when the FBI is reconstituted, they may not take superior jurisdiction over State and County law enforcement personnel. They may be involved when the crimes cross State Lines, but both States will have equal input and have to agree that the issue is resolved. The reason I mention this is because the Federal Law Enforcement agencies are notorious for shitting on State and local people. The Feds need to be put in their place and learn how to say "Please", Thank you", and "Can I polish yo shoes, boss?"

All law enforcement goes through the elected sheriff of whatever county, and no citizen has to worry about any law enforcement official higher than that. The officials can coordinate with the sheriff, but enforcement comes directly through that elected official.

Sometimes people help too much.
My wife's co-workers decided to hire a maid service to spend 4 hours cleaning our house.
They arrived at 3:30, don't speak English, one of them is allergic to cats (we have 5), and don't generally seem interested in doing the work.
The wife and kids went on a cleaning spree to prepare for this and now their being here is causing her no end of stress.
I know I'm being a Debbie Downer with all the wife stuff but it's pretty much my entire world right now.

The point I was making was that a huge *political" storm is going to hit when the contents of those unredacted FISA applications is revealed, and the indications are that Trump is going to do it very soon .
Then too, If 'Florence' has been over-hyped and weakens, POTUS may go ahead with the plan sooner than we think. Just have to wait and see how it plays out.

Well, the car is incomplete. I retained the disc brake rear axle, which is in demand from hot rodders, and also the rear air suspenson bags and the compressor, which were working. And I kept the 4 aluminum wheels with good tires on them, and the steel spare with a good tire on it, and some miscellaneous small parts.
And I didn't have to load it! Guy came with the rollback, in and out in 5 minutes. So my yard is now freed of a white (literally) elephant.

You do, however, PUT YOUR CRAP AWAY!! That includes piles of papers, the dirty clothes on chairs, boxes from Amazon, etc., etc. The more surfaces a cleaning service can reach, the better they can clean.
Depending on where you live it can take many tried to get the "right" cleaning people for your needs. (I've had a total of 10 agencies/independents in the last 15 years with residences in 3 states.)

Yeah, I was getting $120 (Can.) per ton for "prepared" steel at home last month.
If I could have driven that car to the scrapper, I'd have got $350, no problem. But if it had been driveable, I'd have insured it and hung plates on it, because it was a nice clean car, no dents, interior intact, just a little peeling clearcoat. But the engine was gerfukt, bigtime, and the cost of making it go again would have greatly exceeded the value of the car.
Going rate for the tow job would be about $75, too. That I didn't have to pay.

This. You have to straighten/organize/put stuff away before you can clean. This takes most of the time, the actual dusting and vacuuming is the least of it. Piles of stuff everywhere make it impossible to clean.

oh, had a friend in college with one of those, fantastic car to party in! but his was tan.
The other convertible that I really loved riding on was a '69 Mercury Marquis convertible with a 429 police interceptor engine. Damn, that thing had an unbelievable top end, only downside was it took 2 normal parking spaces back to back to park it. Talk about a land yacht!
