Fitton on New Strzok-Page Texts: 'Corrupted' Mueller Probe Needs to Be Shut Down

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said Tuesday newly-revealed text messages between fired FBI official Peter Strzok and former FBI attorney Lisa Page are just more evidence of the anti-Trump bias that was prevalent at the FBI and Justice Department.
Two new texts show the officials discussing a "media leak strategy" amid the Trump-Russia probe.
"A 'media leak strategy' is just what it says, an 'insurance policy' is just what it says, when Strzok writes 'we'll stop' President Trump, everyone knows what that means," Fitton said on "Outnumbered Overtime."
Fitton said Judicial Watch has been litigating against the FBI for 20 years and he's consistently seen from the bureau "arrogance, illegal secrecy and contempt for the rule of law."

I am curious whether there is a reasonable counterpoint to the argument that the FBI is irredeemably flawed and cannot survive the loss of confidence in its investigative capability and its blatantly obvious partisanship?

123 I believe that the FBI should be turned into a Forensic and data Bureau to assist, guide and train the local police. A job they do fairly well right now.

Eliminate the investigatory role and use the investigators that the DOJ uses (I think they have one).

Make the FBI the NF Bureau National Forensics.

Let them set standards for forensics and certify labs.(some labs are atrocious and commit rights violations constantly)

Let them continue their collection of weapons and crime databases and fingerprints and dna etc.

That would allow some face saving and change the attitude.

I'm pretty sure they will lose - their problem is that they are clearly doing this for the sole purpose of blocking interstate commerce, of a kind that they don't like for political reasons, and this is a clear constitutional violation. I read through a bit and I get the sense that even the Washington State spokespeople understand this, but they're going to have this fight and lose it because they think this will keep their idiot prog voters happy. It looks to me like Washington State's legal strategy going into this fight is that "Constitution doesn't matter because Climate Change." Seriously, that's about what they're going to go into court with.

The FBI labs are utterly corrupt. There was an admission a few years back that the "experts" had been providing false testimony on the stand for something like 20 years. The entire field of pattern matching (bite marks, fiber matching, stuff like that) turns out to be more or less witchcraft.
