Repin Kerensky.jpg

Alexander Kerensky
Ilya Yefimovich Repin

Kerensky died in exile, only because the Bolsheviks were not quite as well organized as they would be later on.

Isn't socialism grand?

24 Now that women in the Navy can wear ponytails, men want beards.

The Navy said last week that servicewomen could sport ponytails, lock hairstyles, or ropelike strands, and wider hair buns, reversing a policy that long forbade females from letting their hair down.

Servicemen immediately chimed in on social media, asking the Navy if they could grow beards.

Thus saith the Lord: Let there be the perfect combat cartridge, of the
caliber .451, and with the muzzle velocity of 855 feet per second, and
with a bullet weight of 230 grains; and it was so. And the Lord brought
forth the design of the perfect combat pistol, and the Lord callest his
prophet John Moses Browning to the mountain top and givest this design
to His prophet. And the Lord's prophet John Moses Browning didst build
the perfect combat pistol that the Lord didst provide. And the Lord
didst look, and the Lord saw that it was good. And there was morning and
evening and it was the 45th day.

The Lord chose his prophet Cooper to instruct the people in the proper
use of His perfect combat pistol. And the Lord callest his prophet
Cooper to the mountain top and gavest his commandments in the use of His
perfect combat pistol. And the prophet Cooper gaveth the Lord's
commandments to the people regarding His perfect combat pistol. The
prophet Cooper commandeth the people to liveth in Condition Yellow and
to be prepared to smite the foes of the Lord's chosen ones with the
perfect combat pistol. The prophet Cooper instructed the people to smite
their adversaries with two in the chest and one in the head. And those
that were stuck in this manner would surely die. Those that obeyeth the
prophet Cooper liveth and those that disobeyeth the prophet Cooper shall
die for the prophet Cooper receiveth the words of life from the Lord.

And there were those who were unfaithful to the prophets instructions
regarding the perfect combat pistol. And they didst chamber the perfect
combat pistol for cartridges who's calibers startith with numbers less
than the holy number 4. And lo the Lord did cause great grief amongst
these men when their enemies who were struck in battle with these lesser
numbers didst not fall but did continue to cause great harm. Thus the
Lord punished the men for their unfaithfulness to the design of the
perfect combat pistol.

There's still a Russian Ultra-Orthodox cathedral in Bizerte that was constructed by & for those sailors & other exiles.

Another odd fact about Bizerte is that it was the site of a side show battle during the Algerian War of Independence. France had a major base in Bizerte, and Tunisia had exacted a blockade of the port in 1961. France responded with a full scale invasion of the city, which they occupied until 1963.

Strelhnikov! Tom Courtenay was Julie Christie's hubby, but then turned revolutionary red.

Kerensky was a White Russian. The Whites fought the Reds for five years (the bloody Russian Civil War).

George Kistiakowsky, who was at one time the Science Advisor to President Eisenhower, was a White who fought in the Civil War against the Bolsheviks (he was something like 19 at the time). He escaped with his life and made it to the West, was a brilliant guy (an older late friend of mine had him as a professor back in the 1940's), and a professor of Chemistry prior to his later service. I think he was also into rocket propulsion and explosives.

If this is actually happens and Podesta gets immunity and his testimony sends Manefort up the river then we really have no alternative than active insurrection as the rule of law will have not only been destroyed but the very foundations of justice will have been smashed to bits as what is going on is as antithetical to justice as can be conceived.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - Now that women in the Navy can wear ponytails, men want beards.

The Navy said last week that servicewomen could sport ponytails, lock hairstyles, or ropelike strands, and wider hair buns, reversing a policy that long forbade females from letting their hair down.

Servicemen immediately chimed in on social media, asking the Navy if they could grow beards. A sailor's Facebook post with a #WeWantBeards hashtag was shared thousands of times.

Beards were banned in 1984. The Navy wanted professional-looking sailors who could wear firefighting masks and breathing apparatuses without interference.

The Navy says that's still the case. Still, some hope the change in female grooming standards opens the door.

Travis Rader, a 29-year-old naval physical security officer, said allowing beards would boost morale for men, just like allowing ponytails and locks has for women. There are two things that would make many Navy men happy: beards and better boots, he added.

The Manefort indictments are simply investigations that were dropped
and simply dusted off by Mueller, investigations that implicated
Podesta as Manefort was working for the Podesta group at the time.

If this is actually happens and Podesta gets immunity and his
testimony sends Manefort up the river then we really have no alternative
than active insurrection as the rule of law will have not only been
destroyed but the very foundations of justice will have been smashed to
bits as what is going on is as antithetical to justice as can be
conceived.

Posted by: Kreplach at July 20, 2018 10:13 AM (2JcMg)

Our foundations of justice have been subverted long before this. One only needs to go back to 2016 when the FBI granted immunity to Cheryl Mills (Clinton chief of staff), her IT aides Brian Pagliano and Paul Combetta, State Dept. staffers as well. And what did they offer in return?
Just need more people to wake up that there truly is two justice systems. If people are willing to accept that -despite the guarantees of equal protection under the law -- our country is lost.

The relaxing of regs...It is not a connectoin between beards and transexuals. It is a connection between lax rules and further lax rules. Allowing Gays to serve openly, repealing don't ask don't tell, lead directly to transexuals

Victims of rape and sexual abuse, mostly. Also animal abuse, interestingly, since abused animals are often a sign of something else going on.

So, yeah, my brother hunts child molesters for a living.

And my other (surviving) brother may be one, as it turns out....

When I was at Cornell--this would have been 1990--I was attending the "unity hour" meetings at the african american residential dorm; our campus fellowship was trying to figure out why we had zero participation from that minority, although we had all the other colors of the rainbow.

They had a guy come and do witchcraft at their meeting one night. Pouring out libations and asking ancestors for stuff.

371 > The relaxing of regs...It is not a connectoin between beards and transexuals. It is a connection between lax rules and further lax rules.

Beards have traditionally been worn by sailors (and, up until WWI, by Army personnel as well).

There are a lot of descriptors that come to mind as a description for, say, the British Royal Navy in the Age of Sail, but "lax discipline" is not one of them.
