Internet Archive: Funny, We Don't See Any Evidence That Someone Broke Into Our Repository of Defunct Websites and "Hacked" Joy Reid's Deleted Blog to Insert Anti-Gay Sentiments into It
But leftwing idiot commentator Joy Anne Reid claims she was #Hacked, with some unknown malefactor, probably an alt-right Nazi, inserting anti-gay sentiments into her blog.
In December I learned that an unknown, external party accessed and manipulated material from my now-defunct blog, The Reid Report, to include offensive and hateful references that are fabricated and run counter to my personal beliefs and ideology. I began working with a cyber-security expert who first identified the unauthorized activity, and we notified federal law enforcement officials of the breach. The manipulated material seems to be part of an effort to taint my character with false information by distorting a blog that ended a decade ago.And yet the people responsible for maintining the "Wayback Machine," which stores pretty much everything ever written on the internet, say they see no evidence that their servers were #Hacked.
When we reviewed the archives, we found nothing to indicate tampering or hacking of the Wayback Machine versions.I wonder what the solution to this mystery could be. Could it be that she's... lying? Could it be that the last time someone discovered anti-gay statements on her old blog, she vowed to her paymasters at MSNBC that those were the last controversial statements that would be found as she'd never written any others, and now she finds herself needing a story to explain away such a hypothetical previous guarantee? And will CNN's Oliver Darcy accuse her of hypocrisy and lying, the way he accused Sean Hannity of "hypocrisy" for owning real estate despite his pose as champion of the working class? Or will he and CNN ignore this and bury this? Despite prima facie evidence that an MSNBC "journalist" is lying through her teeth? Or do "journalists" just sort of admit now that lying through one's teeth is a basic tool of the trade? BTW, an LGBTQ+ (I add the plus because I'm not a homophobe, bigots) organization has cancelled an award it was planning to give this lying imbecile. Apparently they could forgive Reid for the previously-disclosed anti-gay stuff, but they don't believe her latest lies.

There is NO WAY to alter the contents of the "Wayback Machine" at the internet Archive.
Impossible.
I investigated this possibility long ago, and was told that for no reason, under any circumstances, would any content ever be changed - -and furthermore, it was multiply backed up and refreshed on a constant basis, so that any attempted changes would be over-written by the the original backup soon enough.

You're probably right, Tami. I don't know how influential West or his wife are because I do my level best to ignore 99% of the "culture" being forced on the rest of the country.
First, as a musician who has been playing and trying to get better since I was 15, I certainly don't consider somebody who talks in rhyme instead of singing to be a fellow musician. When he whips out a vintage Fender Strat and starts into a solo, then I'll pay attention. Maybe.
Second, that whole Kardashian Koven needs to have water poured over all of them so they'll melt away. Still haven't figured out what they're good for or what they've accomplished.
So much useless crap gets forced upon us by the media that it just becomes street noise after a while. Very little of it is worth paying attention to.
Dr. Jordan Peterson is the extremely rare exception. Him I'll pay close attention to because he speaks truth.

They and groups like BLM have nothing to say. That's their entire reason for being, to point out black murder rates. But they want to hang that on honkeys, but that just isn't the truth and they all know it.

My epiphany came when a customer came in really excited to get the new just-released issue of some comic I felt was beneath my standards. I forget what it was, but I was thinking, "Wow, I'm actually happy to be some small part of something that's giving you so much enjoyment! Just selling you this comic you like so much (for whatever reason that I can't see) makes me feel pretty good!"
After that, I would never put down anyone's taste in anything. I might not like something, and I'll put it down all day, but not the consumers of that product.

I say this because I think the people at the top of that party are True Believers and as such are going to make another big mistake. For some reason they trust her to be the friendly minority face that will finally bring America to her knees. As such they *should* wait until 2024 (as I believe was the original plan after The Hag).
Trump is going to beat anyone in that party unless they pull a Trump-like rabbit out of their hat (which they won't because Trump was organic and these people are top-down megalomaniacs). I am slightly torn about this because I can see also see them going with Booker IF they were smarter about it. But I don't think they will be smart.

I played at a whiskey tasting fair last summer. They had a pretty wide variety of tastes and prices. Couldn't really taste too much because whiskey. The guitar player, OTOH, is about 6'2 and nearly 300 lbs. He tried a lot.
That hard place where my liver used to be just can't handle the hard stuff any more. Which is probably for the best.
