Progress: Fake Republican Nicole Wallace Reveals That She Has Improved The #Woke8YearOld and Broken the Old World Record for #WokeMoppets

Out: My #Woke8YearOld is "rapping" with me about politics

In:

My 6 year old watching @Morning_Joe with me just said @morningmika looks worried - I said “she is” he said “it’s @realDonaldTrump ‘s fault right?” Kids know Trump is trouble . Why don’t republicans in Congress?

— Nicolle Wallace (@NicolleDWallace) April 12, 2018

Charles Cooke thinks it's pretty obvious that a 6 year old is just reflecting the weird emotional chaos in Nicole Wallace's fevered mind, and is less likely to be forming her own independent political analyses:

But nah, I'm sure Nicole Wallace's #Woke6YearOld has been signed to do an Encounter Broadside titled Mommy, Why Does Trump Keep Trampling Constitutional Norms and Imperiling the Republic With His Hyperemotive Solipcisms?

35 In my experience, kids start thinking critically around 12 or 13 years old, but are still likely to have their opinions influenced greatly by their parents' values (as they should).

Some time around 6 or 7 year olds they are able to identify hypocrisy, "Dad, put your seatbelt on. You tell me to."

I have no child-psychology studies to back this up, it's just my anecdotal experience.

Posted by: Bitter Clinger at April 12, 2018 02:28 PM (lVlqi)

36 What if these kids saw a gun onTV?
They'd think guns are safe.

What if they saw a Republican who wasn't on trial for hate crimes?
They'd think Republicans weren't all evil.

What if they saw a white man who wasn't appologizing?
They'd think he wasn't privileged.

We MUST ban children under the age of 26 from watching TV. For their own good.

I have an employee who is given to believe in chemtrails and everything he hears on the internet.

One of those things is some guy who jumps into a 50 degree bath every morning and so my CAD guy, who I'll call Charles, because that's his name, has taken to leaving the kid's bathwater in the tub overnight, and then jumping into in the morning when it's cooled down.

Anyway, good for him. But he's got a two year old also, who is very verbal, and he's been trying to talk her into peeing in the toilet instead of her diaper.

Her latest response?

Daddy, I don't need to pee in the toilet.

I pee in the tub.

There's an actual name for this, Ace: it's called

Clever Hans Syndrome.

Based on the 19th century freak-show horse named "Hans" that could correctly perform various mathematical calculations, in front of crowds.

Turns out the horse was simply responding to emotional/physical cues given of by the audience and trainer. The trainer would ask, "Hans, what is two times three?" and the horse would start stomping its foot. When he had stomped five times, the crowd would tense up in anticipation, on the sixth stomp, they would suppress a gasp, and so Hans would stop stomping. Amazing!

Then some guy tried to debunk the "act." He discovered that even the trainer didn't know it was fake! The debunker himself took Hans all alone to a lab and did the same thing, and Hand STILL did the calculations correctly! The trainer then realized that even he himself was giving off signals, no matter how hard he tried to suppress them.

Only when he asked Hans the question and then left the room so Hans couldn't "read" his emotions that the horse was unable to perform.

So the "Clever Hans Syndrome" refers to the fact that even experimenters/parents/performers aren;t influencing their subjects unwittingly[/i[.

133 I'm going to vent for a minute. Good friend just texted me a headline about Trump and how he/his lawyer covered up his sexual piccadillos by paying to kill a Trump rumor. She texted that "You couldn't make this stuff up."

I proceeded to 'splain to her that plenty of women who accused Bill Clinton of rape were threatened by Hillary, who made them shut up and go away, and nothing was done. She then "wondered why the media didn't say anything about it???"

I mentioned Hilary's little SCIF problem, with her illegal maid printing documents and bringing them to her, and asked if she had heard about that? Now, as a former State person, I am admittedly more attuned to issues with State goings on than the average Wacoan, and I also have peeps on the inside giving me info. But this was in the news. You had to look for it, because it wasn't covered by CNN, the Alphabets, etc. But bless her heart, she is just shocked, shocked I say, that the media isn't providing this information.

I guess she thinks I'm lying.

Okay, rant off. Thanks for listening. (Or reading)

177 I was a young kid driven to the doctor by my liberal father. We stopped at a light and there were two white police officers who had stopped a black guy. My father said something like "That's disgraceful! How racist!". I said nothing, but thought to myself "but we just got here. Maybe he did something wrong". Looking back, I think he was trying to condition me into having the "correct response". But I can't help perceiving distinctions like that. I can't stop that any more than I can stop seeing or hearing. I think that's what results in people eventually becoming conservative.
Posted by: Steve and Cold Bear

Your story reminds me of an incident my next-door neighbor recently recounted to me -- this is jew-dropping:

My neighbor's ten-year-old daughter was on the school bus going to school, and while it was stopped at a stop light, a black guy came sprinting down the block, pulled open the doors, jumped aboard, and commanded the driver to "Drive! Just drive!"

Turns out he was fleeing from the police, who had just caught him red-handed stealing an iPhone. The driver stayed put, and moments later the cops, in pursuit, also jumped on board and tackled the guy and handcuffed and dragged him away.

Then the driver continued to the school, recounted what happened, and it became a Very Big Deal. The kids on the bus were not allowed to go to class, but first had to all go to the nurse's office to be checked out, and then the school brought in a phalanx of emergency counselors to "help" the kids.

What did the counselors do? Help the kids "process" their "trauma"?

No!

Instead, the counselors were concerned with only ONE thing: That the incident would make all the kids have racist thoughts!

As the ten-year-old daughter later recounted to her mom (my neighbor), for the next several hours the counselors badgered the kids about their feelings about black men, and did they think they were all criminals, and isn't that a terrible thing to think and maybe the guy was innocent, and maybe the cops wee the bad guys, and maybe you shouldn't all turn into racists, think about your ten-year-old White Privilege, the cops don't chase YOU around do they?

Only after the school administration was convinced that the incident hadn't generated a class full of racist bigots where the kids allowed to go back to class.

Why, when I was 4, I recall watching the Kennedy-Nixon debates live just like it was yesterday. I was particularly interested in hearing
how Kennedy was going to address the growing threat of a nuclear Russia that was looking to expand into the West in Cuba.

Yeah, right.

I had no idea what was going on, it was just two guys talking about something on TV, which adults did a lot of for some weird reason.

They still do.

I think it was his 14 yr. old daughter that was upset that a woman can no longer get abortions because Trump won and the 10 or11 year old daughter that now sleeps in bed with them because she's afraid of Isis.
His wife wanted to leave the country because of Trump.

So much moral emptiness in that quote. First, second, third, fourth and on to 100th, his 12 year old daughter is worried about her ability to get an abortion. Makes me shudder.
101st it's based on a lie.

My niece* had a meltdown and was convinced that it was "now legal to sexually assault women on the street." Tween kids should not be that invested in who the president is, yet our media and public schools keep pushing these issue onto kids wherever they can. It's sick.

Nothin' says loving like killing off the grandkids.

On a better note, I managed, over the course of Lent this year, to knit 8 sweaters and 10 little tiny hats to drop off at the Women's Care Center, for the babies they will save. Cutest damned things and so quick to do. Warm babies are much better than cold babies, any day. I dropped them off and the lady at the front desk just cooed.

Normal people love babies. Ghouls and idiots murder them.

370 This is absolutely ludicrous. When my son was about two, I came home one middle of the day for lunch, opened the fridge, looked around, and shut the door. My son asked me if I wanted something to drink. He got me a soda with ice, and then proceeded to ask me if I wanted alcohol with it. (Maybe I need to think about that!)

Anyway, point being is at that age you're absorbing general patterns of behavior from parents. You aren't putting any shading on it like he had never seen me have a drink at mid-day in his life. You're trying to relate to your parents however you can.

What he was fishing for was indications the Trump has been weakened (huzzah!) since then. Here was a national radio personality basically gloating over the supposition that the President of the US has less ability to respond to an international crisis, due to being weakened by the incessant media attacks over the last year. What would we do without NPR? I would be more than willing to find out!

So far, he has spoken with a recruiter, emailed the Blue Angels (and gotten a very nice, detailed response), watched combat videos of Naval Aviators, watched demonstration videos of Blue Angels, figured out how to start as an enlisted man and move up by attending Annapolis, etc.

I wonder how his lefty teacher is going to take this project.

Although, this being Anchorage, he probably has had to put up with plenty of military stuff.

Still, it's nice to see the boy finding out about his future.

I suggested he become a Navy Chaplain.....

Another typical Democrat meme. They are entitled to demagogue and make any presumptions they choose when they speak, and they are not to be challenged or doubted, just because.

However, courtroom standards of proof are required for R's and conservatives. But I haven't heard a soul from the left challenge a word Hogg has spewed. Just sayin'.
