Cops Raid #FakeNews Clickbait Webzine Newsweek?

So claims an site called TheOutline.com, which I've read occasionally for opinion. I don't know how strong their reportage side is.

More than a dozen police showed up this morning at the office that serves as the shared headquarters for Newsweek magazine and IBT Media, which rebranded in 2017 as Newsweek Group, according to multiple sources who were present.

The reason for the visit was not clear, but one employee said police were taking photos of the company's servers...

The NYPD said the officers weren't theirs. The Manhattan DA declined to comment, the article says.

By the way, "News"week put out a clickbait article claiming that, based on a claim that Trump takes some medication for his hair, that means he might, maybe, possibly be impotent.

Yup.

Here's what an insider at "News"week has to say about what "News"week has become:

Oh, I forgot, they published this, too.

It's just embarrassing.

And... Newsweek was also the proud originator of yesterday's absurd clickbait claim that noted cuck David French "said" that we shouldn't fear a nuclear strike, because it would only kill minorities and Democrats.

125 Another reason I respect no mags and media sites as my elites or betters or more informed. Ya know, they saw the internet revolution coming, and none of them could figure out to make the transition. Plus, they were so obnoxious they thought they would be fine b/c they were so indespensible and smart.

Just like Penny's and Sears couldn't envision how to be an Amazon.

Thing is, most didn't even spend time trying.

So yea, for 100 reasons, I do not trust the so called eLites.
I like eLites better than elites, b/c they are anything but elites.

They are e Lites.

"This is one way it could happen," Lessig said. "But that's very different from saying I think it will happen, or should happen, or [that] the evidence is there for it to happen."

Since the essay was published, there hasn't been "any evidence that's come out that's resolved the question, whether there was some conspiracy to steal the election," the professor said.

"I don't feel that we've seen anything that increases that probability," he added.

208 "125 Another reason I respect no mags and media sites as my elites or betters or more informed.

No Federal agency which is not primarily a law enforcement agency should have any weapons or armed employees whatsoever.

If the IRS or EPA or BLM needs to do an armed raid they should call up the US Marshals or the FBI.

This trend towards arming every pissant government agency is wrong.

NYPD does not enforce judgments - that would be the Sheriff's job (if state or local) - or if a Fed matter, the US Marshall Service. If this is to enforce a bankruptcy Judgment or order then it would be the Marshalls - this points to something else going on here. Unless the NYPD just wanted to go for a joyride in the "shotgun" position to provide a little traffic/pedestrian control. But that still does not explain the NY DA involvement.

All very strange.

Maybe because the Muzzies and others have threatened to do stuff to the water supply. MUD having police might then make sense.

Since the title of her book is "What Happened", when I go into BJ Wholesale, I have a bunch of sticky notes with "Trump Happened" in my pocket for the sole purpose of putting a sticky on every cover of her books.

Regrettably, the store hasn't had them in stock. So either they realize it is a losing title, or there are more left-wing deranged lefties in the Portsmouth, NH area than I gave them credit for.

320 NYPD does not enforce judgments - that would be the
Sheriff's job (if state or local) - or if a Fed matter, the US Marshall
Service. If this is to enforce a bankruptcy Judgment or order then it
would be the Marshalls - this points to something else going on here.
Unless the NYPD just wanted to go for a joyride in the "shotgun"
position to provide a little traffic/pedestrian control. But that still
does not explain the NY DA involvement.

All very strange.

The New York County DA's office has investigators who investigate crimes when the police do not (like white collar crime, fraud, etc.). Most are retired cops. If PD is saying it is not them, probably DA's investigators. Of course PD could be roped in as you suggested, traffic control.
