An examination by DailyMail.com of emails released by the State Department shows that backup copies of many of Abedin's work-related messages with Clinton were created in the dates after Clinton left the State Department in early 2013. The emails, released at the end of December, show that they had been put on Weiner's laptop by a BlackBerry archiving program. So if Huma lied to the investigators about putting classified docs on Weiner's laptop, whether she was under oath at the time or not, the immunity agreement should be voidable.

Yes, that's why I say immunity agreements "typically" contain requirements that the subject make full and truthful disclosure of all material facts known to them.
Given that this so-called investigation had a pre-determined outcome from the start, the DOJ could have written the immunity agreements so that Huma was promised $40,000 and a mule for every lie she told on Hillary's behalf.
Lynch, Comey, Rosenstein, etc., were all Clinton partisans. They had no intention of discovering any evidence that would lead to charges against her or any of her aides, and they probably wrote the immunity agreements to ensure that nobody could ever be prosecuted for anything, no matter how many lies they told or crimes they committed.

I would argue Flynn didn't even really commit perjury, he had a discussion with Russian officials, said he didn't want to discuss sanctions, was then asked later by investigators and said he didn't recall talking about sanctions (because he didn't) and then they charge him with perjury. But he stupidly then plead guilty.
So if Mueller wants to talk to Trump, I think it would be stupid to go along with that.

How is that wrong? Its how the country used to be presented. That was the terminology until the 1950s or so. We're in this together, but as indviduals, not subject to the all powerful central state, but sovereign with the federal government acting as intermediary.
Related: blue states are talking about enforcing penalties on red states to "pay for their tax contribution." See, places like New York and California are taxed total more (not per person, but because of their population they pay a total amount more) than places like Wyoming and Iowa.
And they argue that these red states get more federal dollars than blue states, so they're gonna get some back.
Which is hilarious to me. Because its exactly what the founding fathers thought was possible in the system they were creating, a concern that states could literally go to war with each other with individual militias.

I have a problem with calling Progressive Rock "rock" in the first place. I don't think it is rock and roll at all. I think rock and roll HAS to have the 3 chord c/v/c structure and be simple.
Similarly I think anything involving jazz-influenced and strutured music is just jazz.
I wonder if the best of prog rock isn't just modern classical music, using modern instruments. Some of it is truly amazing, technically and musically.

His complete lack of judgement, and possible arrogance, in appointing Mueller (and not complying with the governing DOJ reg in doing so), is obviously disqualifying.
There wasn't the hint, shadow, or suggestion of "public interest" in pursuing (again, contrary to regs) non-criminal allegations that were always implausible and had already been looked into under the counter-intelligence rubric, where they belonged (if anywhere).

Right after Flynn submitted his guilty plea, Judge Rudolph Contreras mysteriously recused himself from the case. No reason has ever been given.
In addition to being a federal judge, Contreras is one of only a handful of FISA judges, the judges that ok FISA warrants for spying.

Manafort has a good case on the merits, but I have no clue whether his suit is the procedurally correct way to attack.
Flynn copped a plea. He might have a shot of overturning because Mueller didn't turn over exculpatory material about Sztrok.
Mueller truly is a scumbag prosecutor. Harvey Silverglate is a prominent civil libertarian lawyer. Mueller tried to entrap him by getting his defendant client to wear a wire. This is not who we are.

Correct. But nobody really knows exactly what he lied about. Lots of speculation but if the FBI wants to charge you it can be something very simple like saying "if" when you had previously said "when".
Nothing really makes a lot of sense about Flynn being charged.
In any case, the very people who investigated Flynn and charged him are the subject of a much more serious investigation themselves.

.Flynn is keeping his mouth shut as he should. His case got transferred to Judge Emmet Sullivan when the regular Judge recused himself. Flynn stands a good chance of Judge Sullivan rescinding the plea agreement and tossing the entire case out based on events that have transpired.

Yep. The plea Flynn copped to may become completely immaterial. Being subject to a con by a criminal conspiracy of FBI agents to elect and then indict an incoming president is some serious pound me in the ass prison time. This is what Mueller is concerned with. I cannot tell whether Mueller is actually swinging for the Dem team or the FBI team. He may very well be evaluating his options given the discovery of Comey's rats.

If the FBI interview was not recorded - we've got a he said/she said case (meaning Flynn and the FBI can argue about what was said and neither can prove it). Why the H would he plead guilty to *that* kind of allegation?

Because as I just told you the FBI can charge you with lying for the most minor transgression or, as we have been seeing with the Hillary email case, they can let you go when you tell enormous lies. It's up to their discretion.
I don't know where the idea that he wasn't recorded came from, I haven't seen that. But if that's true it's yet another enormous problem since the FBI is required to record conversations which they also did not do with Hillary.
No, I really don't think you do know the scope of overall lawlessness that was going on and what the FISA court has already ruled was going on for years with FBI abuse of the FISA 702 section 17 process. It is an enormous scandal that basically shows the Obama intel agencies weaponized various agencies to spy without warrants on Americans for years and illegally violate the minimization process and leak damaging information.
This scandal makes Watergate look like a tea party and this is what Flynn was caught up in. Any investigation that is based on this spying is an illegal investigation and so is all the evidence gathered as part of the process.
