He was the Assistant AG for National Security and had to approve all FISA warrant requests. He RESIGNED FROM OFFICE in October 2016 the same time this Page chick was seeking the FISA warrant. He appears to have left office the exact week the FISA warrant was approve by the FISA court. I don't know for sure but I think Page and Strzok worked directly for him.
I think a higher up made him either approve the crooked FISA
request or resign.

The DHS guy said, no, the immigration lottery system was vulnerable to fraud adn abuse by a malicious actor (i.e. a terrorist( because the requirements were low to non-existent.)

What she didn't count on was Trump actually following through on investigating and having genuine patriots/allies in the FBI. There's an emergent theory that Mueller/Sessions/Trump have been working behind the scenes to quietly establish motives, identify leaks, etc. The DTJr "September 4 vs. September 14" bullshit seems to suggest that just maybe the cops are providing barium meals to see who leaks.
Anyhow, the theory goes that Trump/Flynn knew exactly how this would play out and that his dipshit adversaries would not be able to cover up their own treason (especially after being assured that it was business as usual under Mueller's protective wing). Hence Mueller's team of impossibly-compromised investigators are suddently being "discovered" to be full of shit.
Said another way: there's no way in hell that Flynn did not know about Strozok. Being a career spook and all. So you have to believe that either the Mueller investigation is comically, HISTORICALLY corrupt or there's something else going on.
Occam's Razor would say the answer is...I'm not sure. It's a nice theory. I'm not sure I believe it but I love thinking it could be true.

Well, if it keeps the prices down, it's a good thing. Have you seen how much Garands are going for? Looks like 1500 bucks minimum! For that price I can get a brand spanking new M1A or PTR-91 plus 1000 rounds of surplus ammo easy. If I want somthing C and R for that price , I can get a very nice SVT-40 for that same price, which is a cooler gun IMO. I'd love to have a Garand, but not at these prices.

I have my dad's 1911 that he brought back from the Pacific campaign. I fired a few mags of ball ammo through it when I inherited the gun and I was able to shoot 2 MOA at 25 yards shooting one handed, accurate enough for a war pistol. Since then it has been put to rest. Once a year I check it to make sure it is in good condition. My eldest son will inherit this fine old war horse.

I don't know, but there's already been court action on this election. Somebody sued to force the state to retain digital images of every vote cast. They got an injunction to that effect yesterday. The Secretary of State immediately went to the Supreme Court and got the injunction stayed. Apparently it would have been technically impossible to comply. The paper ballots will be preserved as usual.

we use at my precinct: optically tallied paper ballots.
Because it's hard to cheat with the optiscan ballots. If you pull the crap like they pulled in Detroit (ran each ballot through 5-6 times) you still have the physical paper that can be hand-counted.
