Update: FBI Agent Fired from Mueller's Team, Caught Expressing Anti-Trump, Pro-Hillary Statements with Alleged Mistress, Not Only Interviewed Key Figures in His Hillary Email Investigation, But Also... Michael Flynn

So he interviews Hillary cronies and finds they did nothing wrong.

Then he also interviews Michael Flynn and comes away with a perjury charge.

One could suspect this FBI agent, now removed from Mueller's team for political bias, might have been interested in finding a crime to hit the Trump team with and not so interested in finding evidence of lying among Hillary's minions.

A supervisory special agent who is now under scrutiny after being removed from Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel’s Office for alleged bias against President Trump also oversaw the bureau’s interviews of embattled former National Security advisor Michael Flynn, this reporter has learned. Flynn recently pled guilty to one-count of lying to the FBI last week.

FBI agent Peter Strzok was one of two FBI agents who interviewed Flynn, which took place on Jan. 24, at the White House, said several sources. The other FBI special agent, who interviewed Flynn, is described by sources as a field supervisor in the "Russian Squad, at the FBI's Washington Field Office," according to a former intelligence official, with knowledge of the interview.

Strzok was removed from his role in the Special Counsel’s Office after it was discovered he had made disparaging comments about President Trump in text messages between him and his alleged lover FBI attorney Lisa Page, according to the New York Times and Washington Post, which first reported the stories. Strzok is also under investigation by the Department of Justice Inspector General for his role in Hillary Clinton’s email server and the ongoing investigation into Russia’s election meddling. On Saturday, the House Intelligence Committee’s Chairman Devin Nunes chided the Justice Department and the FBI for not disclosing why Strzok had been removed from the Special Counsel three months ago, according to a statement given by the Chairman.

Read the whole thing. Sara Carter quotes a source saying that Strzok's "allegiance" to Andrew McCabe -- whose wife ran for office as a Democrat and took big money donations from Friend-of-Hillary, Bagman-of-Hillary Terry McAuliffe -- was "unwavering and very well known."

Carter also reports that McCabe called Flynn about the interview, and seems to have misled him about the nature of the interview -- a source claims that Flynn was told the agents were coming to talk about "routine" matters, and it was only in the middle of it that Flynn realized he was being formally interrogated. As he had been misled into thinking it was "routine," he didn't have a lawyer present.

38 It's a stunning move ... LiAngelo Ball will no longer be on the UCLA basketball team and, in fact, he will not be a student at UCLA ... because his father, LaVar Ball, is removing him from the institution ... TMZ Sports has learned.

As you know, LiAngelo was indefinitely suspended from the team after he stole from several stores during a trip to China. LiAngelo was placed on house arrest but was sprung after Trump and others went to bat for him.

We're told LaVar believes the suspension was unfair, especially since the charges were dropped. LaVar's people tell TMZ Sports the famous dad thinks, "There's no need to break down a kid's spirit for making a mistake."

Our sources say LiAngelo is not officially withdrawn from the school but he's at home and will not return to UCLA.

LiAngelo was a freshman and never actually played a game for the team.

That wasn't very smart. I don't know about having lawyers at your side at every communication (given his government ties), but the FBI doesn't do routine. And they lie. They're allowed to (but that's for another debate).

Never trust the FBI when they come to talk. They venture out with purpose. Always. That's your default assumption. You are always being probed. So to speak.

John Anderson was Gary Johnson (minus the pot) before there was a Gary Johnson.

Yea, I did. Monday.

Well we knew some of it. We knew, or I did anyway, that Strzok was part of the Hillary email investigation and I saw his name mentioned a few times in that regard earlier this year. I also knew the OIG was investigating irregularities at the FBI during the 2016 election.

I saw he was fired in August from the Meuller investigation which I thought was odd given that he had just joined but when I saw that one of the top FBI counterintelligence agents had been reassigned to the HR department, his career was over, I assumed it was because of the OIG investigation.

Seriously, people should be following Sara Carter and John Solomon. They are real investigative reporters and they have been turning this kind of stuff over all year long.

I kind of followed this issue. They've been in the mid-state area for a while and achieved employment -- something that's a lot tougher in PR with a 40% labor participation ratio. Hillary thought she 'owned' their vote, but apparently most of them prefer employment to socialism.

The areas they settled in went for Trump. Not hugely, but just enough.

Outgoing president empowers incumbent deep state bureaucracy with presidential powers to entangle the new executive and obstruct the peaceful transfer of the people's power. This has been out there for a while. But yes, to sum up. Everything bad people think about Ty Cobb was made up and put in one book that had no sources.

Basically it was as if Dan Rather and Brian Ross wrote a story on Ty Cobb.

I was away on business. I found myself in a hotel elevator and a full-custom Muslim woman walked in. Head to toe garb, with only a slit for her eyes. I was my regular polite-to-women self, but it occurred to me that I could've been horribly offensive to her religion with my actions.

Q: How are we non-Muslim men supposed to treat them in order to let them remember their place? Sure, I'm an infidel, but I'm still a dude, and I'm guessing an infidel man is still of more value than a Muslim woman because the man *could* convert or whatever.

Smile and be sweet and charming, ignore, or acknowledge their less-than position? What's the culturally sensitive thing to do?

The changing of Comey's earlier draft language describing Clinton's actions as "grossly negligent" to "extremely careless" was a Big Fucking Deal.

Grossly negligent are the words of one of the relevant statutes. If Comey had stuck with that, then Hillary's guilty as charged. I know Comey created his own intent standard, but "grossly negligent" are code words for not requiring specific intent.

Now either (1) Strzok was smart enough to know this, or was working at the direction of someone who was, and/or (2) Comey folded.

So the question is, which offends me more? The immorality that may have happened 40 years ago, or the immorality that is guaranteed to begin the very next day, if Jones wins?

Not a difficult call for me, not difficult at all.

Unless you can find some data more recent than that.

I had a friend named Dan Feely when I was a kid.

Of course we called him Dan Feelme.

428 As of November 15, Puerto Rican power generation had dropped back down to 22% of capacity, later raised up to 29%.

The government's own rosy estimation is that today they're up to 66% of electrical service restored, but it will take until at least mid February to get service up to 95%. And they have missed every timeline they have set so for.

431 That's a fairly serious question about how non-Muslim men should be expected by Muslims to treat their women.

I'd love to see an enterprising reporter interviewing a few dozen practicing Muslim men to get public statements on the matter.

I don't want to hear anything about Muslims dictating our behavior. Look how it has worked out in the EU. And you actually would trust a Muslim's answer? No, what you do is stay safe. You remember what their stated purpose is here, and you keep far away.

I'm a woman, and I would never get in an elevator with a Muslim man or woman. 5 years ago, I'd be falling all over myself to be nice...b/c I was stupid and ignorant about the East and Islam. Now I'm informed. And though being impolite goes against evey cell in my body, I'd remind myself that it could be dangerous. New circumstances call for new adaptations.

433 No such thing as a routine conversation with the FBI. I wouldn't take a phone call from them without a lawyer in the room.

436 I had a colleague in Chicago, a lawyer, who sometimes played close to the edge. One day, two FBI agents came to his office to "interview" him. He got up from his desk, and quite vociferously, said "THIS INTERVIEW IS OVER. GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY OFFICE!" They left. That was it. Never talk to these jag-off FBI dicks.
