Corey Feldman Starts Naming Names

He says a very obscure actor, who only appeared in two films (both in Corey Feldman movies), molested him.

He also revealed another name publicly, but I guess the show hasn't been aired yet, so we don't know who that is. He also revealed several other names to Dr. Oz privately, which have not been revealed yet.

Dr. Oz is doing his own investigation into these claims before reporting them out. He's doing this in tandem with the show's legal counsel, so I guess this has been vetted, at least as far as possible defamation.

Video at the link.

They're working with the LAPD about this.

That and the fact that most of the people that are getting accused in Hollywood right now aren't even trying to fight it and are dropping out of the public eye may have made it a bit easier to think he'll get a fair listening to now.

Back when I was a young noon submariner wannabe, there was parties at the division LPOs direction, billed as "training." Being naive, I thought it was technical training, and it was, for about ten minutes. Then music came on and the beer came out.

I always thought it was odd.

And then I learned later that LPO was kicked out after being outed as preying on trainees, when some kid woke up to being date raped by the guy.

Yeah it's pretty bad. To be fair a lot of those old shows are pretty awful though. Very formulaic. Say what you will about more recent stuff but at least they're a bit more inventive sometimes anyway.

I saw several episodes of Quincy several years ago and was struck by how it seemed to be a progenitor of the Very Special Episode type programming you'd see a few years later.

Someone would die of pills or something and Quincy would use it as a soapbox to rail against the evils of said thing. In one episode they literally had him reciting statistics about how many kids died from drugs, etc. Not really Must See TV in my opinion. I don't like lectures on television shows.

I HATED that part being in the movie. I hated that Ron Howard needed
to include Grissom's douche bag wife disgracing him like that (if she
even did that in real life).

You must be thinking of The Right Stuff (not Apollo 13), which portrays the original Mercury astronauts including Grissom. The BOOK version of Right Stuff goes on at great length about how astronaut's wives came to expect certain privileges and how Mrs. Grissom allegedly feared being known ever after as "the Honorable Mrs. Squirming Hatch Blower," but IIRC, the book never said she came right out and told him that. It might have been something she confided in Tom Wolfe years later after Gus had died (in the 1967 Apollo 1 fire), but who knows. Also, Ron Howard had no involvement in The Right Stuff AFAIK.

354 >>The part about Apollo 13 that I thought was really unbelievable was when Jeff Goldblum hacked into the alien's mother ship.

Any reasonably intelligent malign alien race would know to disable javascript.

What about the part where Robbie short circuits while flapping to Altamira swimming nekkid?

355 I didn't care for the fact that the only way to scrub out the CO2 from the cabin was the soiled ficus plant.

Slate denied the existence of a pro-AntiFA ad in the NY Times the same day the ad ran. I think they can safely be disregarded as knowing a damn thing.

358 Hey, thanks Mike.

Just checked and 3 of my 4 extinguishers are Kidde, and all three are recalled.

360 The dry chemical type can last quite a while. If you turn it up side down and you can hear the chemical shifting down, it's probably okay.

Note the probably. If the chemical at the valve caked up, it might not work but you may still hear the chemical shift.

Only true way to test a fire extinguisher is to use it and then you have to either get it cleaned and refilled or buy a new one.

If it doesn't work right off the bat, RUN YOU FOOLS!

Too many stick around trying to get them to work.

361 "Kerri Green was 18 when Goonies was filmed. She said she felt really wierd about kissing young Sean Astin who actually was 14."

Oh, I thought it was the other chick. Carry on fapping!

362 I don't know. I just don't know. Do I think the Coreys were molested in H-wood? Yes, I believe that. However this whole rollout Feldman's been doing is just weird.

364 It always bothered me a little bit that Barnard Hughes, who played a movie theater pervert in Midnight Cowboy, was cast as the kindly crotchety grandfather character in The Lost Boys opposite Corey Haim and Corey Feldman. Not sayin' anything happened..just sayin' it creeped me out.
