Loretta Lynch Refuses to Answer Congress' Questions About Bill Clinton Tarmac Meeting

Taking the Fifth? I don't know what other possible legal reason she could give for invoking a right to not answer -- there is no executive privilege running to an ex- president.

Former President Obama’s Attorney General Loretta Lynch met behind closed doors with a congressional Russian election meddling probe on Friday.
Republicans were eager to question her about an infamous tarmac meeting with former President Bill Clinton in June 2016, a meeting which has triggered suspicions about the Obama Department of Justice's impartiality toward Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton at the height of the election.
But Mrs. Lynch refused to discuss the meeting before the House Intelligence Committee on Friday, according to Fox News.

Last week, she "took the Fifth," in a way, running from Catherine Herridge's very fair questions on this same subject:

A long while back, I read some sort of self help book by a guy who dealt a lot with minster types who did bad things.

Basically, the author reasoned that people who do bad things in one aspect of their life overcompensate in other aspects to prove they're really good, decent people.

So... all of the PSA's about bullying and such are really just pedo rapists standing up and saying "See? We're good people. We care about kids."

And then they go a rapin'.

But these overt "I'm a good person" actions ease their "conscience."

Likely, Clinton wanted to clarify the specifics and confirm that the "Clinton Initiative" could still operate business as usual and there would be no repercussions.

I'm sure that when it became public knowledge their immediate reaction was "so fucking what...Hills will be in the WHite House in no time and we'll disappear this...the media will play ball...or they will if they know what's good for them."
