Some Choice Quotes from Hillary Clinton's Book About Collapsing In the Street (And Also, Losing a Presidential Election)

This person has collected some quotes from Hillary Clinton's book, called Dude, Where's My Shoe?.

I'll post some of the awfulness below.

For the TL;DR crowd, here's one of the worst passages:

"Absolution?"

Here is some more of her horribleness, with criticism from a reader.

The quote to set the mood:

On the pain of being awful:

What about all that sweet, sweet chardonnay?

In which the credentials of Hillary's ghostwriter are questioned:

In which Hillary continues trying to peddle her "sunny, optimistic" campaign message, at the same time she impugns America as a racist, sexist nation of deplorables:

Here Hillary claims that she would not go near the "politics of resentment," despite the fact she ran what even 538 called the most negative campaign in American history, and also ran almost exclusively on identity politics resentment at Straight White Men:

Hillary continues nursing old grudges here -- as they say of the bitter and the foolish, "She has forgotten nothing and she has learned nothing."

Here she continues pandering to her Identity Politics Resentment base:

I'm skipping a lot, but you should know that this book is a puddle of hyperemotive wallowing. It's still All About Her. Here, for example:

You have to click on both parts of this quote-box:

Hillary really likes talking about drinking. I always think this is sort of Red Flag. Before someone is willing to admit she has a problem:

Here she extols the virtues of one-notril breathing, before getting right back to extolling the virtues of alcohol:

More about the Healing Power of Alcoholism:

Oh and of course she retreated to the Progressive Electronic Safe Space -- namely, the television, and binge-watching Quality Shows:

It's all very sad and maudlin and emotive and blame-shifting and she still seems to think it's all about her.

Corrected: An earlier draft of this identified "KateReadsBooks" as a Hillary supporter. I thought that based on one bit of commentary she added, which I realized was ambiguous and that I'd probably misread it.

I deleted all references to her being a Hillary supporter -- except one, which I'd missed.

I just deleted that now.

Anyway, apologies for that goof. I tried to take those claims out, which I realized must be wrong as I read more of her commentary, but missed one of them.

Update: CBD tells me her patreon page describes her as a "leftist." Yeah, I kinda got the feeling that she was a pissed-off leftist, but I wasn't sure, so I didn't want to say anything about it either way.

Same with how Pappy Bush and the whole Bush clan endorsed Hillary.

Never mind the Clintons destroyed Bush Sr, drug him through the mud and made him a one termer. Trump said Jeb had "low energy" and that's way worse.

Amazing how quickly these RINOs can forgive and forget their fellow Democrats.

That was the most maddening thing about the NeverTrumpers. For some reason they were allowed the luxury to pretend there was no alternative.

I could maybe understand if say Trump were running against Joseph Lieberman or someone like that, but whatever Trump faults are, it's pretty weak stuff compared to Hillary if you're going to vote just based on standards and throw any ideological leanings out the window.

287 Hillary is interesting psychology, no?

She's a misanthrope -- hates people, but wants to be worshiped.

She hates her father especially. Hence the Projection about being the victim of misogyny.

She's incredibly self-centered, and hence amoral.

She not intuitive or decisive. Everything must be studied to death by her minions, in part so that she can blame them when things go wrong.

She's not as smart as she thinks she is. Often a problem with lawyers.

There's only one place for this kind of Leader -- in a government bureaucracy.

Which is where she'd be, but for Bill.

374 sort of interesting: the "were" in werewolf comes from the Old English "wer," which just means "man" or "husband"

https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/wer

"man," on the other hand, used to mean man, as it does now, but also seemed to mean "human being" (that is, man as we also use it to mean either sex of human beings)

381 Hillary took over Bill's foundation to pregame her campaign with foreign donations and support an administration-in-waiting. She also bribed key D superdelegates jump on her band wagon before the race even started.

This was intended to close out the field before the race started, but Bernie slipped in with his Children's Crusade and an army of small donors.

Hillary can't repeat this, and could never win in a truly open competitive D primary campaign. Obama showed that in 2008.

She CAN continue to fuck up things in the D party, including by trying to run again (which I wouldn't rule out). She won't play with her grand kids, and won't bake cookies.

Posted by: Dean Wromer at September 12, 2017 07:13 PM (fftfA)

It's both.

The Democrats have been saying since at least 2000 that "every vote must be counted". Not every legal vote, or every legitimate vote, but every vote.

And of course any attempt to ensure that only people who are legally entitled to vote can vote is furiously denounced as "racism".

If that ends up disenfranchising people who didn't vote Democrat, then no biggie.

No, no, no. See, the brain actually sticks down into the nostrils; that's what gives you your sense of smell. So breathing through one nostril lets air whistle across the portion of one hemisphere sticking down into the nostril.

496 >>>Loup de guerre - Warwolf, also Ludgar, also largest trebuchet ever made (thank you wiki !)

there was a FANTASTIC documentary, maybe a NOVA, about having two engineering teams compete to build, based on incomplete plans and legends and such, their idea of what the War Wolf would be.

At the end they competed to see which trebuchet could throw the heaviest rocks the furthest, and most accurately.

One interesting point: the plans called for the trebuchet to be on wheels during firing, unanchored to the ground. One team thought this must be a mistake and so fixed the machine to the earth.

It turns out it wasn't a mistake -- the machine relies on its base moving forward during firing to add to the power of the throwing arm.

Really worth looking up and finding if you dig trebuchets. Great, great competitive engineering thing.

They filmed it outside the castle that the War Wolf was instrumental in defeating.

Yeah, that hit me pretty hard, too. What made it funnier was trying to imagine Mitt Romney doing it, or doing it and writing about it, because I could not do either.

I think she's trying for victim points with the Safe Space snowflakes.

643 Hillary Clinton is so banal--and when you think the word 'banal' in your head, imagine a bored Englishman saying it, drawing it out: BAH-nahl. She's just a mediocre human being in all aspects. The best part of the last election cycle was the herculean attempts by the MSM to portray her as something more than she is.

Even better, imagine Donald Trump doing it, and then describing it in a news conference. (We need Ace to fire up his Donald impersonation I think.)

Well, considering that Mittens had been essentially running for President for the last 20 years before finally getting the nomination.....yeah, I can totally see him feeling that way.

The difference is that Mittens is smart enough and has the discipline to keep that shit to himself, because he knows that it can only hurt his reputation and chances for future office.

655 One of the more tiresome characteristics of 21st Century Progressives is the way they portray their inability to cope emotionally like its some kind of virtue. Being mentally fragile and incapable of handling disappointment isn't something to brag about. When republicans lost in 2012, many of us felt gut-kicked. But for Christ's sake we didn't go around throwing tantrums, crying, writing about our feelz, assaulting people, lighting fires or "getting woke" or whatever other stupid shit these people do. Compare contrast the behavior of the losing sides in 2012 / 2016.

Then featuring them, and their rage and resentment over their criminal thug sons getting capped in mid-felony, at multiple campaign trail appearances plus a prime speaking slot at the Democratic National Convention.

676 320 Hillary Clinton believes that each nostril provides oxygen to only one side of the brain.

She actually believes this. Let that sink in for a moment.

I marveled at that too. So there's a bifurcation in the trachea that connects each nostril to only one lung, and each lung only supplies oxygen to one side of the brain?

No, no! Each nostril has a passage leading from it, running behind the eyball, and straight into the brain itself. Lung? What are you talking about? I'm talking about brains here! BRAAAIIIIIINNNNSSS!!

678 Others may have mentioned this but the line,

"There were times that all I wanted to do was scream into a pillow."

I believe there are quite a few dems who would be willing to help her with that project. Holding the pillow as the muffled screams gradually become slower, less frequent and trail off into silence...

I'm hoping she sticks around and enlivens both the 2018 and 2020 election cycles with her commentary and influence peddling.
