Just looked at the NOAA Hurricane site -
Harvey looks bad. Very likely a Major (cat 3 or higher) hurricane when
it makes landfall with the eye hitting somewhere between Corpus Christi
and Houston but likely closer to Corpus Christi. If you are in low lying
areas close to the Gulf - I would get out. You will start feeling the
effects in a big way somewhere around mid day tomorrow into the evening
and early morning hours of Saturday and through Saturday. I would board
up and evacuate now. Lived in Bermuda for a number of years and I have
been around a few bad hurricanes ( watched one tear my porch roof off
and scatter it around like poker chips once) - but Bermuda has a lot of
higher elevations and reefs - the Texas coast does not. If you wait
until tomorrow to evacuate it may be to late.

I’m wondering how much rain we’re going to get in Texas and where. My brother and his family live in Houston and they look like they’re going to get the worst of it. However, it’s common for these storms to push in and sit over San Antonio or Dallas and just dump rain.

Odds of a particular set of numbers being drawn are the same now matter how many people buy tickets.
Odds of picking the same numbers as someone else goes up the more people play.
