Fake Hate Crime Which Blamed Arson of Indian Store on Trump's "White America" Exposed as Being Committed by a Black Guy
Okay. We've seen this story before. A lot.
First, the facts:Police in Charlotte, North Carolina, arrested the 32-year-old African-American for allegedly setting fire to a market owned by an immigrant from Bhutan. The arsonist left a note, which began: "Our newly elected president Donald Trump is our nation builder for white America." ... "You all know that, we want our country back on the right track," he informed. “We need to get rid of Muslims, Indians and all immigrants. Specially, we don't want business by refugees and immigrant any more."Seems pretty cut and dried -- Curtis Fournoy has been arrested for malicious damage. He was caught on video doing it. Obviously, an attempt at yet another fake hate crime. What's strange is the Charlotte Observer's coverage of it -- they accuse people of saying that a fake race hoax is in fact a fake race hoax of being nutty conspiracy theorists. In one of the single strangest "news" articles I've ever read, the reporter attempts to narrate the facts of the case while still retaining the intended hoax villain of "White America" as the real villain here -- websites which speculated that this was a fake hate crime stand accused of having been right. After acknowledging the fact that this seems to be yet another fake hate crime -- and noting the recent fake crime of racist and anti-gay graffiti sprayed on the walls of a library named in honor of a victim of Dylann Roof's AME racial rampage was in fact committed by a black guy -- the Charlotte Observer goes right back to the original and unchangeable narrative that white people are "conspiracy theorists" for suspecting fake hate crimes are indeed fake:
"We are ready to wake up some of our great state including North Carolina and we will take care of the country," he typed. "Immigrants and refugee are taking our job, doing business and leaving us standard. So, you are not allowed to do business any more." After a "God Bless America" complementary close, the letter-writer identified himself as "White America." But the racist surveillance video shows a black American.
The arrest of a black Charlottean for a planned out hate crime credited to “white America” has turned a Charlotte arson case into fuel for roiling conspiracy theories on social media. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police suspected a black man in the case from the start, after seeing surveillance tape outside the Central Market, an immigrant-operated store in east Charlotte. A window was broken out, a flaming object thrown through the door and a note left behind that credited the fire to white followers of Donald Trump. The man charged Sunday, Curtis Flournoy, 32, has been arrested five previous times in Mecklenburg County. So how did a man with a history of marijuana arrests come up with an arson plan that included a typed note that starts: "Our newly elected president Donald Trump is our nation builder for White America. You all know that, we want our country back on the right track. We need to get ride of Muslims, Indians and all immigrants." Headlines in the far right media on Sunday insisted that the hate crime was faked, staged and a hoax, based on their assumption that the suspect had a motive other than driving immigrants out. "While this may seem like a Trump-related hate crime perpetrated by immigrant-hating white racists," said the Defiant America, "it was none other than the work of a black man." His motive? Civil unrest, according to conservative websites like The Federalist Papers, which called the fire "clearly a hoax hate crime designed to blame white people."Um, his note was signed "White America." You remember that, right? Note that that nugget was actually not included in the Charlotte Observer's spin-up. It had been included in previous Charlotte Observer write-ups of the case, but somehow wasn't relevant in this article which declared that people were "conspiracy theorists" for suspecting a black guy signing an anti-immigrant screed "White America" was doing so for reasons of (fake) racial provocation.
Said Liberty Unyielding: "Two of the nation's more vexing domestic problems -- deteriorating race relations and immigration -- appear to have provided dual motivation." The Right Wing News called it "a twofer for hate." "Harm the local Indian business people and blame Caucasians for all of it. It may be that the guy just wanted to stir up trouble," said the site. "Regardless of who is to blame, this will ratchet up tensions even more in that area. Authorities have rightfully labeled this crime a hate crime." Still other websites resorted to sarcasm, claiming a "devious" white Trump supporter disguised himself as black. "POLICE RELEASE VIDEO OF ‘WHITE SUPREMACIST’ COMMITTING CRIME FOR 'WHITE AMERICA'," said a headline in Milo.com.The Charlotte Observer offers no reason why these recitations of facts and perfectly-fair speculations are "conspiracy theories," except to note that police have not yet announced a motive. They're claiming extrapolating a motive from evidence -- the guy signed his screed "White America," for crying out loud! -- makes this a racist conspiracy theory? Apparently the real evidence that sites declaring this a fake race crime are "conspiracy theorists" is that they're "right wing," and that's all the evidence you really need. "Right wing" people are "conspiracy theorists" by definition. Those People, you know what They are like. It doesn't matter what the facts turn out to be -- the Narrative must never be challenged. The Narrative is perfect. The Narrative was created by God Xerself. The Narrative makes the facts. The facts cannot be allowed to make The Narrative. So there was a massive outcry, extra funding for the Black Students Union, forced White Privilege training for all students, etc. etc. etc.
And then it was a revealed that the "noose" was a string from a deflated balloon that had been tied to the tree during an on-campus event the previous day -- an Anti-Racism protest organized by the Diversity Dean himself!!
I don't think he fabricated the "hoax" consciously -- he was just so attuned to anything resembling a noose that when he saw the four inches of dangling balloon string, he actually did think it was a noose -- forgetting that he himself had tied the balloon to the tree just hours earlier.
Despite all this -- the incident is STILL referenced as a terrible Racist Crime that happened on campus, and used to justify more and more and more anti-white curricula. Unreal.

I don't think he fabricated the "hoax" consciously -- he was just so
attuned to anything resembling a noose that when he saw the four inches
of dangling balloon string, he actually did think it was a noose --
forgetting that he himself had tied the balloon to the tree just hours
earlier.
Despite all this -- the incident is STILL referenced as a terrible
Racist Crime that happened on campus, and used to justify more and more
and more anti-white curricula. Unreal.

When I was a student at Central Michigan University in 1972, I was part of the group that booked bands to play on campus. A friend of mine told me there was a band I had to see. So I went to the Cinderella Ballroom in Detroit and watched The J. Geils Band murder me on a deep level.
It was visceral, guttural rock 'n' roll and rockabilly, like Carl Perkins mixed with modern rock. It turned into a hit album for them, " 'Live' Full House," which they taped at the show. Everybody I know that was at that concert has a connection to this day.
As performers, it's great if you can mention something about the city you're in. In the middle of "Hard Drivin' Man" they said: "You heard of the Boogaloo? You heard of the Boston Monkey? You heard of the Philly Freeze? We got the Detroit Demolition here for you tonight." That audience erupted. I've been to a lot of concerts, but I still tell people: you have no idea how powerful that one part of that song was, to see the Cinderella Ballroom move as one.
The J. Geils Band never stopped. One song would be ending and the next song would start. Another entertainer who would sometimes never give you a break was Richard Pryor. I loved him in concert probably more than any comedian I've ever seen. Pryor could make you laugh in a communal experience with the audience. It was so funny and so consistent. He didn't stop and start. I don't have a rest in my Vegas act. I stole that cadence from Pryor.
While J. Geils played, the whole room was sweaty, in a flurry, some drugged out, some drunk, some straight. And when it ended, you're looking around, and literally, there's spent syringes on the floor, shoes, and everybody's just, like: "What do we do now?" When they finally said "good night," you were spent.
It's the best live performance by a band I've ever seen.
Afterward I booked them to play our school for something like nine grand. It was life changing for me.

My favorite campus "racial incident' comes from Miz-zoo.
The campus racial rabble-rousers there had drawn up a list of the "racial incidents" on campus. To include the infamous and incoherent poo smear on a lavatory wall which was described as a "swastika".
But the best one was that the black student movement had drawn up a list of ludicrous demands, and marched en bloc to the chancellor's office to ceremonially present the list, whereupon the list was politely received and was taken under due consideration by the chancellor.
They then listed this event -- which they themselves had planned and conducted, in which no one was injured or even insulted, in which they had themselves been treated with every courtesy -- as a "racial incident on campus".
Yes, I'm sure we can all agree it's *just like* Bull Connor.

The real wacky and fascinating part of this whole higher re-education phenomena is that, as far as I know, we are the only modern civilization that not only willingly but with great enthusiasm sends our young adults off to these great centers of re-education. As an added bonus, at such great cost that it requires a whole industry of financial services to pay for. As a 3 time college dropout, I speak from a place of great knowledge and understanding when I say....Fascinating.

Sir Lawrence Olivier played a bunch of different ethnicities. It was good for comedy. He played a Japanese guy in one film. His "transformation" seemed to consist of him squinting his eyes. It was hysterical.
I did like how he played the Mahdi in Khartoum, although Heston played a better Brit.

This was pretty early in Clinton's tenure and I think they were worried about the Whitewater investigation. Dead bodies tend to ramp up interest.
Dumping his body far from the WH allowed them plenty of time to clear out his records, etc.

Or was there anything substantive (though obviously, not material to the election's outcome) in those intel briefings we've heard about, but which have never been shared or leaked, even in sanitized form? The DNC email thing seems like a non-starter - that's well known, and plausibly resulted from very stupid DNC behavior, and the "leaks" later were by a third party, not Moscow.
Just hate to see this stupid distraction get the slightest boost from Tillerson.

Quinn was also an accomplished artist, a painter--and he wasn't amateurish like so many celebrities, the ones who paint to show how cultured they are. Quinn was the real deal.

Maybe you should. The Rich case has already been explained and with Foster the first thing that Shrillary did was have a team go over to his office and scour it from top to bottom. Not exactly the first thing any friend thinks to do in the case of a suicide. And you probably don't even remember when that suicide happened, exactly, and what was going on at the time.
You might accept at face value that he committed suicide - which is fine, I think he did, too - but to claim that any other theories about what happened aren't plausible is ridiculous.

Take your pick. Do you, at least, accept the plausibility of a theory that he didn't commit suicide? I'm not saying that you have to accept the theory but just the idea that it is plausible. Or, are you committed 100% to the known, universal fact that he committed suicide?
And what is your idea about Shrillary's team ransacking his office immediately after they "found out" about his death? Now, one could say that this, itself, was proof that she had nothing to do with it since, if she had she would have had his office gone through before that ... but still, did you not find that the least bit odd, anyway?

The body was not moved. There would have been blood everywhere. The geography of where he committed suicide and the position of the body plus the weapon kept the blood in. As soon as he was moved, blood came out.

She repeatedly berated him in group meetings as an incompetent rube fuck-up responsible for all the Clintons mistakes in the early days of the Administration. We had a thread earlier today about how ugly Hillary can get blaming others for her own failings.
Foster's suicide note is suspicious. It blames the WSJ. Not hard to believe it was manufactured, and might have replaced his true note
