Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Claire McCaskill Has Committed Twitter Perjury and Most Likely a Very Serious Violation of the Very Serious Logan ActShe makes this claim today:
The Washington Post on Monday asked all 26 members of the Senate Armed Services Committee if they had ever met with Ambassador Sergey Kislyak. All 20 lawmakers who responded said they had not met with him. Will the National Laughingstock confess its lie? Will they recuse themselves from further coverage of this issue? Should they also be prosecuted under the terms of the LOGAN ACT??!! People need answers. They need to know if their laughingstock is a crook. Update: Claire McCaskill says there is "no contradiction" between her claims, because all she did was call Russia about the Iran deal. I mean, that's all. Just a tiny little violation of the LOGAN ACT. Doesn't really count as a contact. As for meeting with Russians, she says there were other people present so that also doesn't count. If I were Claire McCaskill's husband, I'd be worried about her tendency to claim that certain liaisons and trysts with shady men "don't count" for one reason or another. You are mocking a very important institution. Very important people. Woodward. Bernstein. Washington D.C. They are important because they tell us the things. Are they true? At this point, why does it matter? How can we function without them telling us what to think? We have ended up with Trump as President because we failed to heed their advisements. We missed out on a historical opportunity to elect someone from the Vaginal Community, the Screaching Harpy Comminity, the Grifter Community, the Adult Diaper Community all in one singular solitary Hefty Bag of a person. We have chosen to be led by someone from the Person of Orange Community, the Mish Grabbing Community, the Baby Dick Punching Community. The media has realized that they can't beat trump. He's teflon. But it appears to be that Trump's aegis of invincibility doesn't surround to other Republicans. Which makes sense. Just because Trump is now in the top chair, doesn't change the fact that the stooges in congress (and a large part in his administration now) are the same ones that they've been beating up for decades now. So they don't need to go after Trump. If they can get enough of the secondary actors, they're going to cause Trump so much chaos that he can't do anything except clean up the mess. No, we call that reality. The idea that DC is going to start zeroing out budgets tomorrow is silly. It was always going to be a gradual build down. Hell, Trump is proposing YUUUGE new spending and has said time after time that he will not touch SS or Medicare, the things that are busting the budget so let's not pretend anyone really gives too much of a crap about debt. Ryan actually ran with Romney on a platform specifically talking about reforming both SS and Medicare. Nancy Pelosi even made an ad about him throwing grandma off a cliff. Again: You just lost a huge election. Bottom line--because hundreds of thousands of voters who voted for you before voted for the other guy. What do you do to win them back?
(a) advocate polices that will benefit those lost voters? (b) accuse the other side of cheating? (c) accuse the other side of cheating AND call those who voted for him racists? The Democrats have settled on (c). Guess who cares about cheating? Losers, that's who. Name one sports team that lost fans over being accused of cheating. The Super Bowl winners Patriots and the National Championship Crimson Tide chuckle quietly. Posted by: RoyalOil at March 02, 2017 01:27 PM (AmMfi) 569

I watched Tarkovsky's Solaris, but I might have slept through parts of it.
Posted by: Banana Splits Guy at March 02, 2017 01:26 PM (gLNAv) Now, give yourself a real thrill and Watch the George Clooney version of "Solaris". Just.....awful. It's shorter but makes the Tarkovsky "Solaris" seem like "The Road Warrior". Plus, Bad acting. Posted by: naturalfake at March 02, 2017 01:30 PM (vZ9Fw) 577

Here's an idea: Arizona has a recall law. A recall can be filed against ANY public officer on any grounds. A petition is required, with the number of signatures required being 25% of the total votes cast during the last election for that position. So for John McCain, a petition with 632,300 could trigger a recall election. It's time to send a message to these asshats that keep bowing to media narrative. There are 19 states that have recall provisions. Maybe it's time to start threatening their livelihoods.

Obama has gotten away with so much for so long that he believes himself immune. I wouldn't make him a martyr, but if I'm Trump I'd do everything I can to burn people in Obama's circle. Let's just repeal the Logan Act already, it was an evil plot by Alexander Hamilton to exact revenge against Jefferson and the Democratic-Republicans after Dr Logan prevented him from going to war with France on the side of England who was pressing US sailors, seizing our ships and cargos and arming the indians against our settlers in Mississippi and Ohio.
A war that papers revealed 200 years ago show he was trying to gin up. While why is a matter of debate, most claim he wanted the personal glory a war with Spain would provide, others alleged that he also wanted it so he could raise an army to destroy his political opponents after his use of his treasonous and unconstitutional Sedition Act was used to imprison Matthew Lyon a congressman for opposing his policies. The Logan Act is unconstitutional, has only been used once, 215 years ago in a political prosecution for something less advanced than what Yes California is up to, but never brought to trial. It is one of the last gesitiges of the Aluen and Sedition acts as well. So the press will accuse us of treason, of hating our country while they don't stand for those who die for it. But they accuse is anyway and this law is odious to any person who doesn't want to abolish the Bill of Rights Hamilton so openly loathed. Posted by: Roy LC at March 02, 2017 03:35 PM (wdHQo) 591
