Breaking Wind: Incompetent Layabout Failure Joyboy Endorses America's Veineyest Mothballiest Abuela

He sort of orders Bernie to get out of the race.

Here's video of Bernie being informed about this.

Sean Davis asked a question on Twitter: Obama is Loretta Lynch's boss. Loretta Lynch makes the decision whether or not to follow the FBI's urging of an indictment against Hillary. But her boss just endorsed the target of the FBI's investigation for President.

In what world is this woman not beset by a fatal conflict of interest?

or, per the ninnies of the right and their latest hysterias: Would that be racist to ask, given that both Obama and Lynch are not white?

I mean, we now know, by Cult Declaration, that it's Bull Connor Level Racism to suggest that a non-white person might be biased according to his or her politics.

So Sean Davis should probably just rend his garments and go live in a cave.

The best we can hope for is an FBI criminal referral that leaks. Perhaps with a public resignation of Comey.

46 off topic but wanted to share: seen on yahoo main page today: another leftist lectures conservatives:

"
Thomas Friedman is drawing attention for his blistering column about the state of the Republican Party, which he thinks should "declare moral bankruptcy" and start over.

The three-time Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist said the United States needs a healthy two-party system but that the Grand Old Party is not doing its part, which traditionally has been to advocate for market-based solutions and sound fiscal policy. Instead, he said, it's merely an empty shell willing to sell itself off to the highest bidders - untethered from principled, center-right conservatism.
"

102 Who Do You Most NOT Want to Be President?

[ ] Hillary Clinton
[ ] Donald Trump

-
I saw a Twilight Zone one time where this hoity toity guy in a fancy suit visits this rather low life chick. He gives her a box with a red button on it and tells her that if she pushes the button, two things will happen. 1) She will get $1,000,000. 2) Someone she doesn't even know will die. After a period of deliberation she pushes the button and hoity toity shows up with her cash and takes back the box with the red button. He tells her he will now give the box and button to someone she doesn't even know.

If Hillizard had such a button to push to become president, she'd be banging that button like Bill on an intern. I don't think Trump would.

113 The AG reports to the President and is a mere agent of the
President. So how can a person report just to the AG without also
reporting to the President? Where does the Constitution grant Congress
this power.

The special prosecutor office is an end-run around the Constitution,
and we should not be encouraging it just because Obama will not
prosecute Hillary.

In the end, it does nothing except allow people to escape accountability.

Posted by: SH at June 09, 2016 03:37 PM (gmeXX)
____Disagree. If the Justice Department and its personnel are empowered to investigate and bring criminal charges against government officials, the AG should have the authority to recognize a conflict of interest and appoint an independent prosecutor to conduct the investigation. This appears to be the case, even in the absence of specific legislation.
If proper political pressure were brought against the White House, the AG and Obama could be constrained from influencing the eventual outcome from the special counsel (or else risk the public fallout). The situation we have now places the investigation in the hands of people with a clear conflict of interest in the outcome (federal bureaucrats). A supermajority believe (correctly) that Obama will not let Clinton get indicted, irrespective of the merits. That's largely because the media has not applied the public political pressure to the White House that Hillary's grave offenses deserve.

TFG is toeing a line saying he supports her but that line is not necessarily the Dem line. His team ... Valerie Jarrett, et al. make the rules not TFG.

Valerie Jarret gave an interview some years ago about the guy (forget his name at the moment) that was forced to step down from was it EPA. Wait ... Van Jones? forget ... anyway during the interview she said admiring him .. "Yes, WE, have had our eye on him for a long time." ... and you know who the WE she was talking about don't you? There is more behind the curtain than even the head of the DNC know. Wasserman and crew think they control it all ... fools.

This election will change everything. If they wanted immigration reform, they could have done it all in the first 2 years of TFG administration.

No, they hold their cards until needed.

Like I said previously ... I am riding any damn train with any conductor that keeps Hillary Rodham Clinton out of the White House.

The end game has always been about illegals getting the vote. If HRC gets in you can kiss any other party goodbye. The Dems will be in forever and they will continue to embrace Socialism/Marxism/Communists openly and there will be NOTHING anyone will be able to do about it ... ever.

All aboard whatever train you decide to ride or if you decide not to ride ... you decided by omission.

The most important part is the quality of the installing contractor.

Run-of-the-mill components designed and installed by an excellent contractor will give much more satisfaction than excellent components designed and installed by a schlampig contractor.

That's why Consumer Reports is pretty worthless on engineered systems component ratings.

191 Revenant - that's my point. Congress doesn't have the power to prosecute. Only the President does. And Congress can't pass a law granting itself of someone other than the President the power to appoint a special prosecutor. Even if you do, and even if you say that person is independent, and even if that person does act independently - under the Constitution that person is always answerable to the President - so that person is never independent.

My solution is simply, either impeach Lynch or the FBI director, withhold funds from the FBI or DOJ, or take other actions against the President. Those are simple solutions, but they carry political risk. If Congress is spineless, then we the people can exercise our voting power to not vote for her, to vote for someone who will prosecute her, or to vote for a Congress that will use its power.

Beyond that we shouldn't be inventing some solution just to give us the appearance that something is being done.

Case Against Sugar, wait for December, when the indispensible Gary Taubes will publish his book, called, felicitously enough, The Case Against Sugar.

exactly

eat fat, fatty fat (duck liver pate!)
and protein (duck liver pate!)

cut back on sugar or sugar making foods

My sister and I keep trying to tell my mother, a bread-a-holic to slow it down - a tiny petite little lady who's never been overweight was just diagnosed with a low level diabetes (pills versus insulin shots). She's so upset because she's always "ate right" etc. She's a breadaholic and she's in denial. She's too addicted to give it up.

And, like (I think Taube said), you don't have to exercise to lose weight. I've done it. Just reduced calories. (the right calories, which also means less sugar - I assume everyone knows how to eat right... but I'm often proven wrong. Real food.)

Good to know about the other book, Fat Chance + Big Gov. The book gets rave reviews.

I fully understand why Congress doesn't go the impeachment route - though note I said impeach Lynch (not Obama). But that is the power Congress has - among others. I cannot be in favor of creating powers because we don't like the politics of it all. Some things are really political battles. And whether we like to admit it or not, but this is a political battle not a legal battle. Its a political battle because Obama refused to make it a legal one. So we are left with fighting this using political tools. Using those tools carry a lot of risks. Which is why they aren't being used. Its frustrating.

I heard Rove make a big deal yesterday about whether Obama "endorses" Hillary as creating a conflict.

It's bullshit to focus on the endorsement as if that creates the conflict. It's a phony excuse by the GOPe to explain away why until now they confirmed Lynch and did nothing to fight for a special counsel at a time when all of this about her using her secret server was publicly known and they had leverage over Obama.

The DOJ is an extension of the Hillary campaign. It is part of her team of defense lawyers.

We tried that, three increasingly furious and desperate elections in a row. We're not voting our way out of this one. We've tried the legal and proper channels. We gave it our best shot.

Then Hillary will escape any repercussions. Sucks, but that will be the decision of the country. We can then proceed from there.

None of them are as good as they used to be. I firmly believe the huge push for efficiency has made them less robust.

From people I've heard in the business, Trane is usually said to be the least crappy.

But also be sure the unit you're replacing actually needs to be replaced. Techs are basically salesman that will tell you to replace over a $20 capacitor needing replacement.

Revenant - that's my point. Congress doesn't have the power to
prosecute. Only the President does. And Congress can't pass a law
granting itself of someone other than the President the power to appoint
a special prosecutor. Even if you do, and even if you say that person
is independent, and even if that person does act independently - under
the Constitution that person is always answerable to the President - so
that person is never independent.

My solution is simply, either impeach Lynch or the FBI director,
withhold funds from the FBI or DOJ, or take other actions against the
President. Those are simple solutions, but they carry political risk.
If Congress is spineless, then we the people can exercise our voting
power to not vote for her, to vote for someone who will prosecute her,
or to vote for a Congress that will use its power.

Beyond that we shouldn't be inventing some solution just to give us the appearance that something is being done.

the people will not spontaneously revolt over these types of offenses. I fully understand why Congress doesn't go the
impeachment route - though note I said impeach Lynch (not Obama). But
that is the power Congress has - among others. I cannot be in favor of
creating powers because we don't like the politics of it all. Some
things are really political battles. And whether we like to admit it or
not, but this is a political battle not a legal battle. Its a
political battle because Obama refused to make it a legal one. So we
are left with fighting this using political tools. Using those tools
carry a lot of risks. Which is why they aren't being used. Its

__A wise man once told me that there were really three ways to amend the constitution. The first is the tried and true amendment process that begins in Congress. The second is the never-before-attempted Article V convention. The third is simply that, if the people just don't believe in a provision anymore, it in effect gets written out of the document by custom and practice, irrespective of any formal votes. When I first heard that, I wasn't quite sure I believed it. But I think that there is a great deal of truth to it. The Constitution is a paper document. It has no intrinsic force to rule our lives, except the force that we personally imbue it with our own beliefs. Some believe that its strict wording is what it has to mean, because that is what it says. I tend to subscribe to this view.Others believe that it changes with the times. From a strictly logical perspective, they are wrong. But practically, they are correct. The Constitution has been effectively amended many times by the People's refusal to adhere to its strict wording and acquiescence to be governed in contravention of it.

But you'd concede your home has incredibly unusual cooling needs to say the least. I'm sure in Hawaii you could heat a home with a can of Sterno.

Funny thing, though. In Rwanda, I don't remember that there was a particular tribe which had an internal taboo against actually asserting and upholding its own interests against those of other tribes.

Back in the Spring and Summer of '95, 3 law school graduate buddies and I crewed a small sail boat every Tuesday night at the Duck Dodge, a race held on Lake Union just north of Downtown Seattle. Boat was named "Breakwind II" and was owned by another of our graduate friends.

Much beer was consumed and hilarity had, as this was the perfect release for the stress of studying for the Bar we'd take in July that year.

Sometimes after finishing the race, we'd repair to the Red Door Tavern to further imbibe, and if the mood struck us on the walk home would relieve our bladders against the base of the statue of Lenin that still unfortunately pollutes the nearby Fremont neighborhood of Seattle.
