In reality, it depends on the coin and what side is up when it was tossed. One side of a coin is always slightly heavier, and the side that US up when it is tossed is also more likely to come up. So at best your coin toss odds are 51-49, sometimes even more skewed than that.
The powerball uses the balls in a hoop that get sucked up by a vacuum, right? The odds of consecutively numbered balls getting vacuumed up is lower than non-consecutive balls. Also, not entirely independent. The whiteballs all come from the same hoop. It is independent from the pb hoop.
Just because we can not factor in all the variables of the situation does not mean they do not affect the outcome.

After taxes, it did indeed come to around $250,000 and he spent every single nickle of it on a baby blue Rolls Royce convertible. The dude worked at a 7-11. I was amazed to find out how much a supercar depreciates. If you can make do with a 4 year old McLaren, you'll probably save a quite a lot over buying new. Same with all of them though. Heard about it on Top Gear.

No, his RR were that very dark green almost black. Hubby went for a spin in it. I did not.
That guy then sold the property to Oral Roberts daughter for her second home. She fenced the entire 2 acres in wrought iron so that her two attack trained German Shepherds (imported from Germany at 10K a pop) could have a nice yard. They drove around out there in a super deluxe golf cart painted bright shiny gold.

well if one were 35 and had some savings and half a house paid for, even a 6% return is 60K per year and one could draw down some capital in time. I bought a small farm for much less than that and enjoy a little income and have the property to enjoy as well. But I'm in cheap middle America, and never spent a lot. Most don't have the discipline and need the bright lights I guess ... which is why so many lotto winners go broke ... like NFL players.
I get joy out of buying something that can produce more than just fluff. Saw mill, tractor, gun ... lol. But I'm strange like that I guess. ha
