The Democrats view government as their High Church, so it tends to draw in their best people.
Conservatives view government with suspicion, so it tends to draw their not-so-best people. This is amazing, this is incredible, this is such a colossal own-goal as to raise suspicions that it's deliberate; but this is how our gang of incompetents functions. So how are we to make the case that Hilary's unauthorized disclosure was a big deal when Trey Gowdy just made the same unauthorized disclosure. Obviously, we can't. Hillary skates again. Incredible. Incredible. The excuse is that the State Department provided this email to Congress, and redacted the name in one line, and not the other. And then congressional staffers missed the second reference, and put it out to the public. And it is true that the State Department has the first responsibility of protecting US secrets, and itself was guilty of a breach here. But the problem is now Trey Gowdy can't exactly make the case that it's such a big deal to release the names of CIA assets, such that no responsible government official would do so. Because he just did the same thing. I half-wonder if the State Department was playing a crooked game, gambling that Republican sloppiness and incompetence would cause them to miss the second, unredacted mention of the name, and thus discredit themselves and demolish this line of attack on Hillary Clinton. If so, they gambled with house money, because betting on Republican incompetence isn't even gambling. It's just prudently investing. Appalling. The email posted Sunday on the panel’s website included in one instance the name of "Mousa Kousa," an alternative spelling of Moussa Koussa, a former Libyan government spy chief and foreign minister. The name appeared to have been redacted in several other instances but was included in a subject line of a forwarded email. The redacted email was released at Gowdy’s direction "so the American people could decide for themselves regarding concerns about sources and methods," the Benghazi Committee said in a statement. By Monday morning, the committee had replaced the document online with another version in which Koussa's name does not appear.What can you do but laugh.

Gowdy needs to make the point numerous times that the fact that H used a
non-secure, non-govt email server means that the probability is near
certain that this email has already been seen by every foriegn govt in
the region and this exceptionally late exposure is immaterial.
That would be a good move, if you are still under the belief that they are in this to truly investigate what happened, prosecute those who broke the law.

They were never intended to extract the truth (although some was uncovered) they never were to find those to blame (although some were uncovered) they never were to make changes or to extract reparations/punishment for any misdeeds.
NO ONE has yet to go to jail or be even fined and those that have lost their position have been given another elsewhere or given their pension with no restriction.
Sorry to say, this also includes everyone's darling Trey Gowdy. He's no better than he should be and no better than Issa at standing in the ring and announcing the acts while his brethren pose and strut while accomplishing nothing.
Electing a President won't stop any of this. Hate to tell y'all but if you think we're going back to a "better" time, forget it. That's not gonna happen.

Reading the article:
State Department spokesman Mark Toner said the CIA had not objected to the release of the name, but State wanted it withheld for privacy reasons.
CIA "assessed that the information in question was not classified and suggested no redactions to the documents in question," Toner said. "We have asked the Benghazi Committee not to use the individuals name publicly to protect that individuals privacy. That was our rationale behind redacting his name."
So, not a "secret", not classified, not even sensitive. As for State's reasons for wanting privacy at this point-- *shrugs*.
Of course, this will be spun up to high outrage, but there's no there there.

Yeah, the photo is aged. I discussed her intermittent (it changes) visage with a plastic surgeon last week, because parts of that face just don't occur in nature. His belief is that she has fat injections, the reason that her cheeks seem to be plump yet sag and she sometimes doesn't have the deep bags beneath her eyes.
I've been wondering why she seems to consistently favor the ugly high neck, button up jackets, somewhat reminiscent of Mao. She's so concerned about covering up the base of her neck and her upper chest that there may be scars or other indicators of health problems.
Maybe it's a chick thing to wonder about these things. On the other hand, we have a pretty good idea about what is being so deliberately camouflaged.

I haven't given up on some of the people or some parts of the country, but I certainly have given up on large swaths of people and certain areas of the country.

I'm already here because I decided a while back to live out my beliefs as best I can. This is also why I just moved out of the DFW metro area to a small town. I believe it's better to be way early than too late.

Yes, I really liked Jindal on the ace podcast. When he described how he shrunk the state govt by 25%, I was salivating like Pavlov's dog, and how he had strategies to draw in Dem demographic strongholds that Dems have been fucking over (ie charter schools, etc.)
I'd definitely vote for him or Cruz, if they got the nod. I wish they'd be a bit more provocative and obnoxious, like Trump. We've been doormats for too long. But I suppose we have a lot of prissy Victorians who'd rather sit out the election than vote for a conservative who was too brash.

This is a very valid point. If the CIA source name was being handled properly BY PEOPLE IN THE CHAIN OF COMMAND (read that as the chain of command within DoS), no one in the House Committee should have a need to know the actual name because they should never been placed in a situation where they would see the name "Bill Smith" and go "Aha! So it's Bill Smith that is the clandestine source within the Libyan Government, mayhap I should redact his name in our report."
