he View cast was so confident that the midterms were going to be a blow out for Democrats, that they spent part of their Monday show priming the pump for Democratic losses with conspiracies about how Republicans were going to steal elections across the countries. Teed up by the ABC "bona fide news program" co-hosts, two-time presidential failure Hillary Clinton and leftist tech podcaster Kara Swisher spewed a slew of election theft conspiracies from intimidation, to hacking and changing results, to mind control via Social Security Numbers. Yeah, you read that last one correctly. "If the votes don't go his way, which we suspect they may not, will the President try to steal this election or will our systems hold?" wondered co-host Sunny Hostin, who was one of the people who claimed Trump stole the 2016 election. Clinton claimed she had lead "war room scenarios with big groups of people to get everybody to think about the most unthinkable" ways for President Trump to steal the midterms. "Because you know, with Trump, you've got to get out of your comfort zone and say, 'well, what is the craziest thing that somebody could try to do?' and get prepared for it," she declared. Her opening salvo was the usual assertion that Trump was going to send ICE agents to polling places across America to intimidate voters: CLINTON: You know, having ICE or others show up and just be standing there, staring at people, you know, looking threatening to voters coming in to vote. But you know, I do think that people are tougher than that. GOLDBERG: Oh yeah. [Crosstalk in agreement] Of course, there weren't enough ICE agents to do that and there would be nothing for voters to be afraid of. They even admitted it wouldn't be intimidating.Videos at the link.
Swisher, Clinton's podcast co-host, jumped into claim the Justice Department and U.S. Marshal Service would be used in some unexplained nefarious way. Hostin chimed in again to get Swisher to briefly warn that the election results would be hacked and presumably changed:This was essentially a flashback to the liberal media's greatest hoax ever, erroneously telling Americans "Russia hacked the election" in 2016, giving the false impression that results were changed to give Trump the victory. Their craziest claim would come shortly thereafter. Clinton tagged back in, argued that Social Security information "was literally stolen" by DOGE, and would somehow be used to mentally control voters into doing what they wanted:
SWISHER: Trying all manner of attempts. Because they still control the Justice Department. They still control the Federal Marshal Service. They still control the House -- HOSTIN: And what about hacking? SWISHER: And hacking.If you have, in private hands, the Social Security information of every American, just as an example, which is one of the things that was alleged, that was literally stolen from the Social Security administration. I don't know if that happened, but people from inside said that it was. And that's under the control of people like Elon Musk, we need a government, and I would argue, starting in January with a new Congress, to begin to hold these people accountable. They can't get away with manipulating the data to try to influence decisions.Attempting to give Clinton's craziness more validity, Swisher claimed it would be assured since A.I. would be involved: "Especially with A.I. BREAKING: A University of Michigan student seen attacking a conservative activist and resisting arrest in a viral video faces one felony count of assaulting an officer and two counts of assault and battery under a pending felony warrant, the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office said Tuesday.
“We thoroughly reviewed the evidence that was submitted to us, and the following charges were authorized against Temulun Togochog based on the evidence that was submitted and the governing law,” Alyssa Fountain, an administrative assistant with Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office, said in an email.
Togochog has been charged with one count of assaulting, resisting, or obstructing a police officer, and two counts of assault or assault and battery, Fountain said.
“There is no court date at this time, but a felony warrant for these charges will be issued by the court and a court date set once she has been arraigned on the charges,” she said.

I walked the ballots into the polling place and watched as the poll worker visually scanned the envelopes to verify they were properly filled in and watched him drop them into a black box with what looked like a tamper-proof opening similar to a mailbox slot. I live in a Republican district but no sounds like a shredder ensued.
Activity was busy but not crowded. I was in and out in less than three minutes. Took me longer to park my big klunky truck.

Looks like Europeans may have to consider not buying food daily. Even those tiny kitchens with the tiny fridge/freezer can hold a week's worth of food. (We do that when we travel there.) It is a matter of inducing them to do so. That is gonna be tough.

There is a problem with every ballot scanner in Westchester County. We do not yet know the exact cause of the issue, whether it is the ballot or the machine. The Board of Elections is working with their vendors to resolve it.

Speaking of that Florida Learjet crash, I was reading some analysis last night and this morning by people who know what they're talking about.
The 20 yr old was almost certainly not at fault in any way, and in fact, done good, as best she could in those last moments. May God rest her soul.
The cause was likely ice build up, which triggered a stall and then a nose dive when they tried to ascend. They were likely in a non-win situation at that point anyway, and any other thing they tried likely would've had the same result.
There is speculation (informed but still guessing) that it was maybe the passenger who were pushing them to get there quickly and didn't want to delay, and that's what pushed them into the storm.

They’re smart enough to not say what to vote for because that would be illegal for a govt building to be used like that.
But we all know what they want you to vote for. More taxes to pay higher salaries to useless public school board employees.

She's attempted facelifts at times, I think, and maybe the Ozzy diet shot or pills.
However, no plastic surgeon on earth appears to know wth to do with her eye baggage. Ever. She must drink a fifth of vodka before entering her iron lung at Chappedick (sp on purpose because that's how I spell it).
Not that senile and shaking Bill is around if he can possibly help it, but imagine waking up to THAT every morning lying next to you or hovering over you with batwings. Plus without the spackle makeup caked on. It's Halloween every morning!
