Good morning kids.

Once again the highest court in the land strikes. No not the Supreme Court of the United States but the Ultra Super Duper Supremely Superior Court of Mount Kilauea has decreed its status as the Almighty arbiter of what is the Law of the Land.

A federal judge ordered US President Donald Trump on Thursday to restore White House access for ‌journalists from CNN, MS NOW and Politico, saying his ban on the three media outlets was likely unconstitutional. In a major setback for Trump in one of his biggest battles with the media, US District Judge Tim Kelly issued his order in a lawsuit that the news organizations filed contesting the ban that the Republican president announced on Sept. 18. Kelly ordered the Trump administration to immediately return the outlets’ press passes and blocked officials from enforcing the ban for 14 days.

Judge Buch M. Danno shall not be disobeyed!

“The President concluded that [the banned outlets] have failed to maintain basic minimum ‘standards of professionalism and decorum expected of those given access to the White House Complex, including’ by ‘publishing sensitive or classified information… In response, the President has preliminarily revoked their continued access to White House grounds… After all, access to the White House is a privilege—not a right.” – DOJ filing

Yeah, that'll really show 'em! To borrow a quote from Democrat Socialist Numero Uno Joe Stalin How many divisions does the Judiciary have?! If only President Trump and indeed all of us took that to heart and made it our slogan.

Especially in an instance such as this which is making my blood simmer...

A Florida history teacher allegedly tried to “cancel” an eighth-grader enrolled at one of the state’s elite schools for his conservative beliefs – and now she’s facing calls to be fired. 

Liz Ballard, a teacher at Pine View School in Osprey, Fla., is accused of singling out the boy as the “conservative perspective” in her classes before describing him as a “misogynist” and spreading the slur around the school, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier said in a letter on Monday.

Ballard allegedly “harassed, disparaged and deliberately tried to ‘cancel’ an eighth-grade student for his conservative views” during her debates — even though he had previously warned her “his parents expressly forbid him to take part,” according to Uthmeier’s letter. She “singled out this student and in defiance of his parents’ express instructions, pressured him to defend political positions… in front of his classmates,” the pol said, engaging in what he described as the “reputational destruction of a child.” Ballard has been the subject of “multiple” HR investigations and at the center of parents’ complaints, according to Uthmeier, who has called for her to be dismissed if the claims are legitimate. 

The investigation into the teacher has spanned several months, Jason Means, the President of the Sarasota Classified Teachers Association, said, according to WFLA. . . In 2023, the school was named a National Blue Ribbon School by the Department of Education — an award that recognizes excellence or schools that close achievement gaps among students. 

Blue RIbbon? Meh this degenerate slag and everyone like her deserves a noose and the nearest lamp post rhetorically speaking of course wink-wink...

And that goes most especially for Randy Weingarten and the evil unions.

So, what are these unions doing with all that money they collect if not fighting to fulfill their stated missions?

Turns out, they are far more interested in getting Democrats elected and pushing far-left causes. Add it all up, and you have organizations that extort money from taxpayers to finance a protection racket for themselves, their Democratic patrons, and various far-left causes (which few taxpayers would support), while engaging in fraud by pretending to be looking out for the interests of public-school students

We’re not lawyers, but we’d say that classifies as a criminal racket under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.

I know I had this a day or so ago but evil like cancer never rests. We cut it out or we die.

Elsewhere the red carpet was rolled out for Xi Jinping and the Chi-Coms.

Trump, on the other hand, has cost China dearly.  He has radically reduced China’s inroads into the Western Hemisphere, ousting its agents from Venezuela and the Panama Canal.
With the Cuban dictatorship apparently unable to keep the lights on, and China now permanently shut out of Greenland, Beijing’s losses in the Americas appear certain to keep piling up.
Add to this Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent’s “Economic D-Day” sanctions on Iran.
These are disrupting China’s financial ties with the Islamist regime, even as Iran’s attacks on shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and its threat of tolls hammer Beijing’s energy imports: China already pays $25 a barrel more for oil than the rest of the world. China’s leader also has major headaches back home — anemic consumer spending, a collapsing real-estate market, rising unemployment levels, an aging population and a national debt three times larger than our own (thanks, in part, to Trump’s tariffs). 

Well, with a different perspective . . .

Negotiating with Communists and terrorists (but I repeat myself) only ends one way. As the Xi meeting is being hyped, the People’s Republic of China is taking great care not to offend the United States of America by taking any drastic steps like… openly stealing our military hardware. Chinese authorities are reportedly in possession of F-35 stealth fighter parts after components of the aircraft were “inexplicably diverted to Hong Kong.”

Shipping giant UPS was sending a cockpit canopy and weapons bay door to the U.S. from Australia in late May when it was diverted, Bloomberg reported on Thursday, citing sources Both parts were coated with a radar absorbing material that enhances their stealth capabilities, the sources said, and it was not clear why the shipment was diverted to Hong Kong. Inexplicably! Were there any Mainland Chinese citizens in the decision loop working at UPS?

This is the problem with having normal commercial relations with a bandit state that takes every possible opportunity to rob everyone else. Looping them into a global commercial system just allows them to do things like this.

Meh, What can BROWN do for us that our own Postal Service isn't doing, like being the bag man for Democrat Election Thievery...

The case underlines concerns about the handling and security of mail-in ballots, particularly when large numbers of ballots are entrusted to individual postal workers. With investigators still determining whether affected voters were able to cast replacement ballots, the incident could fuel broader scrutiny of election-related mail procedures and ballot safeguards ahead of future elections.

  Just so people understand why the Judge used the word “likely”: that’s the legal standard which allows a judge to grant an injunction, unless overruled by a higher court.
  In practice it means that any judge who can construct a semi-plausible argument can do anything he wants.

  I'm sure it would be better, but in the great land of feeding 6 with a food budget right now, bacon ($3.99/lb thick cut) and beans (80 cents a can and free) win out over beef, which had no sale this week at any of my 3 shopped stores (and I used enough for the youth dinner I'm not swimming in it in my freezer)...so, we adapt and see if something great can be made sans the beef...

Aldis and Dollar General are frequent stops. Have some pork butts laid by in the freezer. Bought several back when they were on sale for under 2 bucks per pound.

  Yeah, this week I did a reverse bean and beef burrito - made the filling (60% beef/ 40% refried bean) and let them fill their own tortillas with it and put on their own toppings - I have done beef both months (I make their dinner 1x/month and their dessert and fruit every weekend), so the freezer is a little bare...
  
  Next month, I have the bonfire meal, so no cooking for me - just hot dogs and condiments with smores ingredients and a homemade fruit and veg tray...I'm not even cooking anything!

  95 Movies! has on a potboiler from 1948, The Amazing Mr. X, with Turhan Bey (he of one of the Universal "Mummy" flicks) and Richard Carlson. I've finally been able to distinguish between Carlson and his lookalike, actor Hugh Marlowe. On screen he is firmer and more authoritative, for one thing.
  
  Marlow played famous detective Ellery Queen on TV in the '50s. I think Carlson would have made a much better EQ. Turns out he started out to be an academic (rather Ellery-like right there), got the acting bug, and not only wrote short stories but also screenplays, and directed a few movies too.

  Polls – The are wrong this year again. They are so wrong that people who try to be reasonable pundits are now resorting to my -unskew the polls- methods from 2012 (which people still beat me up for). Some of the people doing this include professional pollsters. It is truly amazing to watch. I’m not going to bother trying to make any rational sense of it all, but I think there are 3 problems that are making every poll (and I mean every one of them, including people trying to get it right) wrong.

  191 1) Trump negatives – Most of the pollsters are emotionally tied to showing Trump as unpopular, and their samples are starting from the point of getting a -Trump 34%- result. This is polluting their results.
  2) White Urban Liberal over representation – The white vote in samples is heavily biased toward the urban vote.
  3) Working Class/Rural under representation – The pollsters are not getting enough from this demographic that lean hard toward the GOP. In some cases they can’t even adjust because they are getting NO sample.
  
  So given that the polls are trash, what can we look at?
  
  1) Registration – Since 2024, which was a good year for the GOP, their registration advantage has continued to grow, especially in important states like North Carolina.
  2) Redistricting – The GOP won this battle and effectively moved swing districts from states with low election integrity (CA) to states with high integrity (TX and FL).
  3) Money – The GOP has a lot more money and is spending it. That money comes from people who believe the GOP is going to win. The GOP is on track to outspend the Dems by about $1B.

  5) Message – The Dems are running on who can impeach Trump the fastest. That isn’t an exaggeration. I heard the debate for the NH-1 Dem primary, and that was the platform of both candidates. Meanwhile the GOP is running on a massively long list of campaign promises that Trump has kept.
  
  Here is my gut feel on what will happen. I’m not alone here, David Marcus, a reporter who is on the ground talking to voters is pretty much on the same page I am.

  203 In the house, the election comes down to about 25 swing districts where the GOP already is in 22 of the seats. GOP is starting from a 203-201 base. A lot of money will be spent in these districts directly, which the Dems can’t match because they are on defense in the Senate and wasting millions in Texas. These districts are also ones that have a higher level of election integrity, so Dem cheating is limited. I think the GOP ends up taking 17 of the 25 (basically holding 17 of the 22 they currently hold) and end up at 220. Note that I also think that our best outcome for 2028 is the Dems taking a 2 or 3 seat edge in the House.

  231 Polls – The are wrong this year again. They are so wrong that people who try to be reasonable pundits are now resorting to my -unskew the polls- methods from 2012 (which people still beat me up for). Some of the people doing this include professional pollsters. It is truly amazing to watch. I’m not going to bother trying to make any rational sense of it all, but I think there are 3 problems that are making every poll (and I mean every one of them, including people trying to get it right) wrong.

  Like, 2024, you could tell they were lying for Harris.
  2020, the polls felt right, but I was hoping they'd be wrong.

  I'm with the lovely and talented Had on this one - but it's based on Teh Feelz, and not any analysis. A good friend of mine (and fellow Moron) heard from his sister and BiL who came back from AK that Sullivan is toast, but he didn't say anything about the oppo dump on the opponent, so that probably didn't factor in the prediction.
  
  It really ticks me off that the media is downplaying the gains on the economy. Bloomberg, for instance, after saying for weeks before the Fed raise that Warsh needed to hike for 'credibility' purposes, now says that they're not sure that hikes will do anything. Meanwhile they still want hikes in the midst of what they say is a very strong economy. They won't say out loud that they want to sabotage Trump, but of course they want to do that. I'm glad that Rs are playing it up.
  
  I am, of course, running in deep blue CT, so I have to be careful about broadcasting my Trumpism. Not going to deny him, but don't want to wave a red cape in front of a Dem bull. They seem to think the Rep seat is in the bag for now.

  Correct. There are several ways of getting around this judgement. BUT, the judge never gave a firm lawful reason to his edict. "Likely unconstitutional" is not unconstitutional.
