SCOTUS Denies Stay on Ruling Blocking Trump Mail-In Ballot Restrictions: Alito and Thomas dissented: “Some of the plaintiffs lack standing, while the remainder are pursuing a claim that this Court has recently called a ‘Hail Mary pass’ that ‘rarely succeeds.’”Further, Alito all but declared j'accuse... Did the Supreme Court’s liberal justices slow-walk their dissents in litigation over President Trump’s mail-in voting order to run out the clock on its implementation for the 2026 midterms? That seems to be what Justice Samuel Alito subtly suggested in the court’s most recent ruling on the subjectAnd so on the one hand, the Leftists want to pack the court with their political allies who will subvert the Constitution and the guiding principles of American and western jurisprudence to advance their Sharia-esque goal o absolute power and control via the advancement and forcing of their preferred insane policies on our society and people. Most recently and vociferously from Mayor Buttplug, who potentially may announce a run for the presidency in 2028. And of course, if they can't achieve that goal then they are simply calling for SCOTUS and the Constitution itself to be utterly demolished, along with the Presidency, the Senate and the Electoral College. Considering the surge in popularity of the Democrat Socialites, this fringe madness could be mainstreamed faster than we imagine. Certainly if SCOTUS continues to abrogate its duty to defend the Republic and the rule of law, we are going to wake up in a nightmare. And speaking of nightmare scenarios, we have this to contend with. The basis for Muslim political donations in the United States, is preventing non-Muslims from “coalescing amongst themselves and uniting” to defend themselves. This isn’t civic participation: it’s the tribal divide and conquer politics of the origins of Islamic colonialism and imperialism. . . Muslim PACs previously claimed that they were just people representing their communities. The Fiqh system pulls back the curtain to show a central body of Islamic scholars trying to use money to control the outcome of American elections for “benefitting the Ummah” (meaning the global Muslim community’s local or foreign interests) “either in one’s own country or locality (such as countering a clearly anti-Muslim politician with an agenda of harm) or internationally.” Any politician taking money routed through this method would be acting as a puppet for an Islamic theocracy which would be using them to covertly exert its control over Americans.Yeah, that's crazy talk right there, you conspiracy nutters! So let's all lose our heads (pun intended) over this, But AI! Oh no, it's Armageddon... Have a good day.

Effective altruism is a philosophy and social movement that aims to find the best ways to help others by using evidence and reason. It encourages individuals to consider how their actions can maximize positive impact on the world. So many entertainers are happy to get political, with an audience who love that vibe, so why would you then instead pair Macklemore with a guy whose audience loves bland, pop love songs and NO politics? It's like the trans activist showing up on the online knitting forum and insisting all knitters pledge to support trans kids, or the immigrant author declaring the romance novels are "too white" and stirring up a social media mob to harass success authors to be more "inclusive." It's the same game, over and over again. Amusing to note that in a war supposedly about Israel, it is the one country in the region that is not getting shot at currently. The Arab world is in flames, missiles are being fired at Mecca now, yet Isreal rests in relative peace. Deterrence, how does that work?
Yet there’s still something deeper going on, breaking out into the surface as it does every few years. The REAL secret of the entire Middle East is that the Arabs hate each other even more than they hate the Jews. Posted by: Tom Servo at September 16, 2026 08:02 AM (tOqvK) 89

Dare I speculate that those worthless cretins in Congress will do anything to pass a balanced budget law? That would mean work. That would mean trimming and cutting the colossal costs of gov't. That would mean they couldn't shove piles of cash to others for votes. That would mean they'd have to put the country first and themselves last. And that isn't happening. For pete's sake, we can't even get them to get off their sorry butts to secure our elections. Our federal gov't is broken and relying on those who broke it to have courage to fix it is a fool's errand. JMHO.
Posted by: Lady in Black at September 16, 2026 07:53 AM (qBdHI) Further, while people support balancing the budget, doing so would either require massive tax increases, supported by the people who currently pay nothing in taxes, or massive cuts to social spending, supported by some of the people who do pay taxes, no majority supports any of the approaches. Confiscatory taxes come closest, mostly because people foolishly believe that government wouldn't continue spending $1.50 for every dollar that comes in. Prior to becoming PM of Canada, Mark Carney was the Governor of the Bank of England. Canada is a Commonwealth country that has always had more historical and cultural ties to the UK than it does to the US.
I doubt Carney's decision to nuke the US trade deal was a spur of the moment thing and I don't think closer ties with the EU is something that just happened today. Old alliances, many that didn't have our best interests at heart but were designed for the betterment of the globalist cabal, are being shredded and a new order is being established. Trump's pivot away from Europe and toward the western hemisphere is real. Posted by: JackStraw at September 16, 2026 08:24 AM (viF8m) 164
Keep the 19th Amendment. For Now. Think Constitution 2.0 and what is needed.
Understand this. Constitutions are social contracts, maybe a mission statement, nothing more. They are only as good as those who are entrusted to keeping them. The former United States is no longer anything approaching a monoculture, that means a Mission Statement is absolutely impossible. We also have a penchant for electing trustees who are as wicked and depraved as ourselves. Then there is the sport of pilpul where no matter what document, no body of laws, no gentlemen's agreement—some asshole is going to wrest whatever agreement was in place to advance their own interests. The Constitution was made for a self-regulating, religious people and is totally unsuitable for any other. Posted by: Community Notes at September 16, 2026 08:25 AM (a3CJ+) 165

Of course! From JJ's link:
. . .Anthropic’s CEO Dario Amodei, who says he has found an outside team that can regulate AI and make sure it doesn’t destroy the world. . . METR spun off from an Effective Altruism-aligned tech incubator called Alignment Research Center (ARC), which is headed by AI researcher Paul Christiano. He was Amodei’s housemate, coworker and research collaborator in the 2010s when they were both at OpenAI — Anthropic’s biggest rival. One staffer on METR is Ajeya Cotra, who is married to Christiano and has been a major organizer in the EA world. The founder and CEO of the group is Beth Barnes, who was hired by Christiano and was involved in the EA movement at college. Chief scientist Hjalmar Wijk and staffers Megan Kinniment and Pip Arnott all came from the same research cluster at the University of Oxford — a major feeder for EA. This explains so much! He doesn't want the US government oversight, he wants his own friend's globalist, unaccountable to any government organization to oversee it. You really should check out the pictures of these METR people. This is a nightmare. Posted by: Lizzy at September 16, 2026 08:29 AM (rOKnE) 176

It means a change in strategy. I get the romantic notion that if we just vote harder we can return to Mayberry, but that is just unrealistic because for everyone who wants their notion of heaven on earth, there is a mob on the periphery who are itching to burn it all down. >>Why get married in a mass gay wedding?. I'm assuming it's an activist thumbing of the nose at the normies which is ludicrous since gays have been able to be married legally for quite some time.
Pretty sure the point was to force all in attendance at the Grammies to participate in a gay wedding - making a music awards ceremony into an LGBTQ event. There were no doubt Country and Gospel singers present who did not want to be part of that, and he was daring them to walk out and then face harassment for being anti-LGBTQ. Having the Saudi's grateful for Israel would be a game changer. Posted by: NaCly Dog at September 16, 2026 08:09 AM (u82oZ) I suspect it’s even simpler than that - Trump introduced the Abrahan Accords, intended to bring relative peace and stability to the region. He personally asked the Saudi’s to join; instead, they shit on that idea and came up with the ridiculous Mecca Accords with Turkey and Pakistan instead. So suddenly the Saudi’s have been called out with their proverbial pants around their ankles, the Mecca Accords are revealed as a ridiculous farce, and Trump is kicking back in an easy chair, whistling Dixie and saying “just think how different things could be if you’d taken my advice.” The economic damage to Europe and China, and the exposure of Europe’s total military ineptitude is just icing on the cake. Every single person who voted against this or voted present is a depraved immoral coward (Shows clip of vote count on motion to table Greene's impeachment resolution. What a retard lol) If we impeach Trump again, I hope it's such a solid case even republicans have to vote for it. Otherwise I say Dems need to focus on keeping the county going until after the midterms. Sure its pointless but there really isn't a reason to vote against either... how can we be sure they won't also try to block investigations? Every act of resistance shows that resistance is possible and encourages others to resist. It forces collective attention onto Trump’s many impeachable offences and away from whatever agenda he wants publicised. It reminds everyone what the standard expected of presidents is and how far Trump has failed to meet it. It sends a message to foreign allies that there are parts of the system still working and that America is not going to simply acquiesce to Trump’s depredations. And because, as Zapata once said, it is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees. A big reason the Russia collusion farce was able to get traction for so long is the left's control of social media. The already own the regular media and without social media we had no voice.
The AI panic is a similar scam that the media has been pushing. And it's dying in real time because people are taking it apart on social media, mainly X, the very place that was ground zero for social media censorship. The same people are trying to do the same thing with AI. Put government sanctioned, left leaning censors in charge. They get the censorship they want and government cover which doesn't hurt when they are trying to get trillion dollar IPOs. With all the commotion over AI, what's the AI stock situation look like? Perhaps some early profit taking? It certainly feels like an op. A poorly dressed op at that.
For a while there, especially when the Space X IPO had mixed reactions, there was this trial balloon to have the US tax payers "invest" in this AI money printing juggernaut. And by "invest", corrupt government officials would likely create tranches where they and their cronies fully receive the benefits of the Cantillion Effect, and walk off with billions reaped off the forced "government partnership" (aka tax dollar purchase) of a dog stock as AI vulture capitalists realize that all of the promise of AI profits has already been realized in terms of its perceived value. They are looking for a very deep pocketed fool to buy out their trillion dollar over-spend position. Posted by: Community Notes at September 16, 2026 09:00 AM (pUU4E) 261

Kevin Bass, who made a name for himself criticizing the government’s response to COVID, has laid out what he says are “fourteen moves in eight days” to “create hysteria to manipulate Congress into regulating AI.”
He goes on to say that “almost everyone involved is affiliated with Coefficient, Open Philanthropy, Anthropic, and/or OpenAI — all of who serve to benefit financially from creating regulation.” (Anthropic and OpenAI have more than doubled their lobbying spending in the first half of this year. Anthropic spent nearly $2 million in Q2 alone.) But why would AI companies want the federal government to step in and regulate their industry? Because, as is the case with all government regulations, it’s the best way to block new entrants into a market. Big companies can hire lobbyists to make sure the rules are crafted to their liking, and they can easily absorb the costs of all the mandates. The little guys get shut out. My take on AI:
The tech companies are convinced this is like the early years of the internet and they all want to become Amazon/Google (including, amusingly, Amazon and Google) They are overspending and their roll outs are rushed but from a business perspective there is a demand for AI based tooling and plenty of $$$ to be made especially by companies that get an early presence in the market. Any industry that is being essentially run by government instantly becomes significantly more valuable, particularly a new industry that is speculative. Government oversight means safety and safety means value. Trillions of value. And in return the masters of the AI universe agree to be tools of the government and create their products to serve the government's wishes. It's not a big mystery why the fast majority of pressure coming from the government to create an oversight bureaucracy for AI is coming from the left. After Anthropic's Dario Amodei set off a firestorm on Saturday calling for a 'pause' in AI development until hand-picked arbiters are installed inside the frontier labs (a gift to Beijing), Mark Zuckerberg sided with the testosterone wing of the tech-bro complex with a builder's response: police yourselves.
