2 Working on the Movie Vault, ran into a challenge, certain files have default audio streams that are in other languages.

The version of 52 Pick-Up I acquired has Italian as the default audio track and not English, so I have to add a stream picker and memory settings.

Do I want to do this as a JSON or a table entry?

I never saw any until a knowledgable soul up in NH started pointing them out. They are, of course, nocturnal. BUT, during the day the best place to see them is very high up in the trees. They're climbers and sleep in the trees, or in rotted out logs. After that, I saw a bunch.

Have not seen many porcupines in the wild. I do recall seeing one in the Tobacco Root Mountains in Montana. Just sitting on a tree limb.

Buddy's dog got a snout full of spines from an encounter in Wyoming. Poor thing. Required a trip to the vet.

In 1990 my battalion sponsored an R&R trip to Portoroz, Yugoslavia. One of my buddies was a black dude, and he was mystified, because many of the locals had never seen a black person. The kids would innocently rub his arms to see if it came off. He was cool as hell, and he became a bit of a celebrity for the short time we were there.

36 I ran into porcupine on a trail near Estes Park, Co. absolutely no fear of humans, and we realized quick that he didn’t need to be scared of us , we needed to be scared of him. I, being foolishly bold for no reason, found a six foot long stick and tried to poke him with it. (To this day I don’t know why I wanted to do that). He educated me by slapping that stick out of my hands with his tail.

78 I would say the Movie Vault app is 99pct wife friendly.

The Roku portion is another thing all together.

Roku's language is called Brightscript which is an unholy alliance of xml markup and Visual Basicish sub routines.

The app is janky, but works, doesn't quite resemble the web frontend, but you can browse and play movies, TV shows are a whole other ball of wax as I can't quite figure out how to correctly parse the the show/season/episode file structure yet.

That's probably closer to the truth and the legends came later. If you are out hunting deer and an eagle flies by do you kill it just for grins? Albatross follow fishing boats, ironically thats how many get killed but not by shooting them, they get caught in fishing gear.

But only a knucklehead would should a huge, beautiful bird like that for no reason.

Has this become a Coleridge thread? The perhaps some of you can put me some knowledge:

I am a great fan of Douglas Adams and think his Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency is one of his best books. However, after many readings, I confess I really don't understand the ending, and how Gently's interruption of Coleridge in mid-hash debauch changed the writing of "Kubla Khan" and the alt ending of the alien space probe.

We no longer have any kittehs, but Mischa loved Bug, but hated Scout. Bug loved Mischa and Scout. Bug was a sweetie.

Mischa was a gray and white tabby born under a sheet of plywood leaned up against a barn. 1998

Bug was a calico from a pet store. 2001

Scout was a black kitty, part Persian, a rescue.2005

They all lived nice long lives. I miss our kittehs.

We want new pets, but we are not in the right place for that right now.
