Good morning kids. With the Iranian conflict still unresolved and the alleged ceasefire all but vaporized along with a few more ships in the Strait of Hormuz and ground targets in Iran itself, the Mullahs nevertheless remain in power, and as such a threat not just to the stability and peace of the region but an existential threat to civilization itself. . . .the Twelvers want Apocalypse Now, and if they must nuke Jerusalem or Paris, so be it. That’s their ticket to Paradise.Whether President Trump understands this he for sure understood the madness of ignoring and worse the Obama/Biden aiding and abetting of allowing Iran to obtain a nuclear weapons arsenal, the pornographic fiction and propaganda of the JCPOA notwithstanding, and so we along with Israel at least for the time being have put a halt if not an end to that. With that in mind, this story from last week makes zero sense: Reuters reported that the Trump administration has already notified Congress of its intention to approve the sale of US engines worth €613 million for KAAN, Turkey’s fifth-generation fighter aircraft, which is currently under development.First of all, while Turkey and Erdogan are Sunni and not Shiite, the salient point here is that they are first and foremost Muslim. Regardless of the internecine and eternal struggle between those two factions, the ultimate goal of both is for Islam to conquer the world. Erdogan and his cohorts have completely eviscerated a century of progress and westernization brought about by Kemal Ataturk in service of that goal. Erdogan is content, much like Blofeld wringing his hands at the Soviets and Americans duking it out like Siamese fighting fish so that he can ultimately come out on top as the de facto leader of the entire Islamic world and ultimately usher in the age of Islam ruling the world as his legacy. That Turkey is still in NATO is the height of insanity. Unless and until Erdogan and his party are removed from power they will be an existential threat to the security of the region perhaps as serious as Iran. And while they'll hold onto those F-35s the risk of him selling one off to the Red Chinese cannot be discounted. And yet for the President to go forward with this deal is madness. He's either clueless or being ill-advised. I would hope folks like Hegseth and Rubio have his ear and are not the ones encouraging this. As for Rubio, on the plus side, there's this: . . . Secretary of State Marco Rubio has invited the foreign ministers and other senior officials from over 60 countries to Washington, D.C. next week for a summit. The goal? To combat the "resurgence of transnational far-left terrorism," according to Washington Post reporters who say they saw documents related to the matter. ..The aforementioned potential F-35 madness notwithstanding, Marco Rubio is a champ, and I think he may very well become President in the coming years if not in 2028 then perhaps 2032. That is if we can outlast and defeat the Leftist menace here at home. A recent Cato poll shows that more members of Gen Z, those born between 1997 and 2012, have a positive view of Communism than those who have a negative view with around a third splitting each way. Some of this can be attributed to social media propaganda, the educational system and popular culture and helps explain the young activists flocking to the DSA. 43% of ‘students’ rate Communism favorably and only 29% rate it unfavorably making it clear that the higher educational system isn’t just broken, it’s actively recruiting the next generation into extremism, domestic terrorism and totalitarian ideologies of the most terrible kind. This tracks with other polls showing campus support for violence and suppression of free speech. This is not good, my friends. Less than half of Americans think capitalism is working as patriotism, support for democracy tanks . . They’re seeing red.So, forget combatting Leftists abroad — the question is, how do we combat Leftism at home if as I fear we cannot rely on the institutions that are supposed to safeguard our liberties have been utterly corrupted, weaponized and turned against us. It's going to get very ugly, I fear. Have a great weekend.

I think part of the "Deal" issue with Iran is that the Democrats were pounding the desks, calling it an "Illegal War", demanding Trump end it, and raising the spectre of the War Powers act. So, 60 days to fight Iran, before the Democrats would gum up the works. Lawsuits, impeachment, etc. So the deal was the exit strategy.
But the Iranians, like the commies, aren't good partners. They'll take what you offer, smile, then stab you the back because they got what they wanted. Not sure if the new attacks reset the two-month clock. We had peace, and then they started up the war again. -- He's trying. He's really trying to right this sinking ship. I applaud him immensely for it. He's the only one that seems to give a rip about what's happening to America. But the Supreme Court has already clearly shown they don't give a damn. What's been obvious and known about the exploited "anchor babies" and birth tourism has been out in the open for a long time. > 43% of ‘students’ rate Communism favorably.
This is Mimetic Theory in action. Those polled don't know what either Communism or "Capitalism" is so the favor of one or the other is not based on any rational or even irrational conclusion — its purely a function of being told to desire Communism and to hate/fear Capitalism. Look at the framing of how each of these propositions are portrayed. Communism rebels against the Old Order and images are of young, dynamic, out-spoken and upwardly mobile practitioners — "Capitalism" is portrayed as unaffordability, low energy, pollution and hopelessness. It doesn't matter what the facts are. History has no influence. The population of the US is increasingly amoral and low trust so spiritual influence is towards the dark. Trump's America 250 is what we need more of. It turns the tables. Posted by: Community Notes at July 10, 2026 07:59 AM (pawvM) 47

Gen Z are the cadre of folks indoctrinated by Commie teachers and never catechized into Religion.
-- And here we've been told for the last few years that Gen Z'ers are much more conservative than those dreaded Millennials (present company excluded). So which is it? I have no doubt these 43% dummies view it favorably despite their "more conservative" label. They've never been taught what it is from proven, historical fact after proven historical fact. They're know-nothings, but it's not their fault. They've been brainwashed, as we all know, into thinking it's the answer to their lives...without ever knowing the first thing about it. The blame is fully and totally on the shoulders of the communists in academia. From K-12 through higher education. It's a sad reality, but unless our education system is pulled out by the roots, and sprayed with Round-Up, this poison will not go away. Posted by: Lady in Black at July 10, 2026 08:06 AM (qBdHI) 66

Depends on who is telling the story and when. When speaking of something as course grained as an age group as if it is something demographically homogeneous, its fluid, not static. People hopefully mature emotionally as they acquire new information and as hormones settle. So the 20 something Millennials are not the same as the 40 something Millennials since a lot of life-experience has taken place. Posted by: Community Notes at July 10, 2026 08:16 AM (U4c/V) 96

How come no one remembers JD Vance's follies? When he called Trump hitler , before it was opportune to be pro-Trump? We can accept that he had a conversion, saw the light , but Rubio did not ? Vance was defending literal nazis, as a VP, waving away their misdeeds as childish follies, when in reality those characters were grown men. And his love affair with Cucker, way after it was obvious who Cucker is. He's was great during the election, debate with Walz etc. He is quick on his feet when he needs to be. But, that can be said of any of Trump's cabinet members - they are all superstars. Hegseth is a superstar, Bessent is a superstar, Rubio without saying is. Other too, who we don't get to see that often.

Believing that was one of the biggest mistakes I’ve made; over the last few weeks Trump has gone to great lengths to tell us the most ridiculously false things, only to say the exact opposite a few days later and then get people to say “well that’s diplomacy.” Ok, that’s diplomacy. It still means that nothing Trump says can or should be taken as automatically true. Are the media horrible liars? Yes. Is Trump any different? No, not really. And then the last thing here is we should have had truth commissions and hanging after the end of the cold war. We had proof that there was communists in all layers of government and we just...declared victory and moved on.
And this makes the '92 election the critical point in history. Clinton, as someone that flirted with communism wasn't going to do something like this. And Pappy Bush probably won't have either. But Pat Buchanan might have. Of course in this hypothetical he probably lessens or ends our alliance with Israel as well... Posted by: 18-1 at July 10, 2026 08:35 AM (sKqQm) 163

It's a good scheme.
For over 100 years, socialists have bitterly denounced capitalism, while infiltrating all our institutions, including big business, and slowly but surely making the country more and more socialist, and less and less capitalist. Unsurprisingly, at every turn, these incremental adjustments of everything toward socialism have made everything incrementally worse and worse. But, since some greatly diluted and mutated, socialized form of crony capitalism still exists, they can blame it for every single one of their unbroken chain of failures. It's similar to how places like California and Illinois and NY, etc. have many decades of uninterrupted Democrat rule aided by an irrelevant and fully controlled "Republican" "opposition" - but, since that Party still technically exists on paper in those States, the slow rolling disasters Democrats unleashed on them are 100% to blame on those phantom Republicans. So this happened: A Top Mamdani Official Tried to Meet with Iran Commissioner Ana María Archila was scheduled to meet with Amir-Saeid Iravani, Iran’s permanent representative to the United Nations, at 2 United Nations Plaza, alongside two other senior officials in the Mayor’s Office for International Affairs on July 7 at 11 a.m . . . The meeting between Archila and Iravani was called off after the State Department—which was not informed ahead of time—met with the Mamdani administration to clarify acceptable conduct, according to the State Department official. City Journal learned that Commissioner Archila allegedly did not inform Mayor Mamdani of the meeting; she was reprimanded for the move and directed to cancel the meeting according to the source familiar with the office. When leftists were accusing Hegseth of having a “Nazi tattoo” he delighted in showing its use on a cloth covering Jimmy Carter’s coffin during his funeral. The claim demonstrates the mindless illiteracy of most of the left - they hate Christianity, so they call anything with a cross in it “Nazi”. But then they excuse the real Nazi symbols. 2) the sex scandal was that he hooked up with a woman at some conference. I believe Hegseth was married at the time. The woman was also married , got caught by hubby and alleged for a short period vtgst the encounter with Hegseth wasn't consentual. vote as individuals, but our votes only matter as part of a larger group.
What I've noticed since 2016 is an increasing divide in voting patterns between White College and White Non-College, especially among women similar to my thinking what I note is we are in a semi-cold War that is White vs White - globally. and it's quite nasty, if under the radar Posted by: Black Orchid (j+aD2) at July 10, 2026 09:25 AM (j+aD2) 305

- What people seem to forget, never knew or never believed.
God has always raised up leaders, put it in their hearts to do what He would have them do to fulfill His plan for the world, and then brought them down. And that doesn't apply to just leaders. And as far as the Ottoman Empire comment upthread,,, You know, while not a sure thing, a good argument could be made that "and one is yet to be" is referring to that empire. And also the eighth that is of the seven. Posted by: TeeJ at July 10, 2026 09:27 AM (dAv7M) 311

Found the 2016 Trump University post:
His answers to questions about Trump University and the budget were somewhat uncomfortable to watch, in much the same way that it is uncomfortable to watch a bus full of circus clowns crash into a school for blind children and even worse the clowns were doing their "Gasoline Comedy" act that day and now all the blind children are on fire and the clowns are trying to squirt water on them with their stupid lapel-flowers but the flowers are just squirting out more gas and the children are crying tears of fire out of their Unseeing Dead Eyes and holy shit a couple of the clowns look like they have boners and they're chasing around the fiery blind children trying to rub up on them with these bobbling clown-boners with big red bulbs on their tips. In other words, as Trump would say: Not the best. Really not terrific. A real mess! Grade: I don't even know how to even start grading this. As far as a letter grade, I give a red X carved crudely through the face of a rotting pig with a bunch of stripper-glitter tossed on it. Posted by: Biff Pocoroba at July 10, 2026 09:27 AM (XvL8K) 314
I have a high school degree and I like Trump's attitude towards the federal government. Which is why voted for him three times.

'Morning, all. Thanks, J.J.
Turkey is recognized as an elite "drone superpower." It exports critical combat hardware and modern warships to European allies and the Middle East. Ankara also controls the Turkish Straits. As above, Turkey and Erdogan are Sunni. Ukraine is one of the world's leading innovators in drone and asymmetric warfare, allowing them to rapidly deploy, upgrade, and manufacture hundreds of thousands of unmanned systems. It operates Delta, conceived by tech volunteers in 2014, a highly sophisticated, centralized digital platform that networks all sensors and drones, outpacing even many Western military command systems. The US has agreed to grant Ukraine a production license and show them how to manufacture American-made Patriot missile interceptors domestically. PDT announced the political agreement alongside Ukrainian President Zelenskyy at the NATO summit Turkey. Turkey supports Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity while avoiding overtly alienating Russia. As a NATO member, Ankara provides Ukraine with critical military hardware—including drones and technology—but has refused to join Western economic sanctions against Posted by: L - No nic, another fine day at July 10, 2026 09:48 AM (NFX2v) 323
Russia. This dual approach allows Turkey to act as an active mediator in the conflict.
Sunni Islam is also the dominant branch of Islam in Ukraine. Their largest and most prominent group: Crimean Tatars, a significant number of which fled to mainland Ukraine and/or formed guerrilla resistance movements like Atesh. Additionally, Sunni Muslims from the North Caucasus, including Chechen fighters opposed to the Russian-backed Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, have formed independent battalions (such as the Sheikh Mansur Battalion) to fight alongside Ukrainian forces. (And there are Volga Tatars, Turks, and individuals from Central Asia, the North Caucasus, Azerbaijan, and Arab countries, who have embraced Islam and become part of the Ukrainian population, as well as those who have converted to Islam. Their true numbers are unknown.) Russia is home to the LARGEST Muslim population in Europe, estimated 1/5 of the population by about 2020. The majority are Sunni. Reportedly, most Muslims in the country live in the Moscow region and other major metropolitan areas such as St Petersburg and Yekaterinburg. How did this begin & where's it going? Oh yeah: Reuters reported that Trump administration has also already notified Congress of its intention to approve the sale of US engines worth €613 million for KAAN, Turkey’s fifth-generation fighter aircraft, which is currently under development.
O & Joe did a bang up job inserting the US into a regional war, with significant Islamic overtones, and making it an even broader Western problem. It's not going to go away. But, as I'm the loon connecting dots in peculiar ways, that's solely imho. Good day. 🤗 Posted by: L - No nic, another fine day at July 10, 2026 09:48 AM (NFX2v) 325
