5 There's a video going around LDS Twitter of a LDS Bishop (similar to a preacher or pastor in other churches) in Hawaii dealing kindly with an angry tranny who wants access to the Relief Society (women's only gospel study class) and telling him, "No." The Bishop is correctly applying Church policy, and I think he's doing it in an appropriate way for a church leader.

How do you think the Bishop did?

26 The news about Musk buying up the EM spectrum once owned by T-Mobile is pretty significant.
------------------
SpaceX has a deal to purchase nationwide low-band spectrum licenses for a planned terrestrial mobile network that would complement the space-based Starlink cellular service.

SpaceX will buy up to 14 megahertz of spectrum in the 800 MHz band from investment firm Grain Management, which bought the spectrum rights from T-Mobile earlier this year. T-Mobile had obtained the spectrum when it bought Sprint in 2020 and was required to sell the licenses under a merger condition imposed by the US government.

“This prime low-band spectrum addresses one of the key remaining technical gaps that will pave the way for Starlink Mobile to become a major mobile carrier in the US,” SpaceX said yesterday. SpaceX this week also received US approval to launch 15,000 satellites for an upgraded version of its mobile service that it says will be far more powerful than the current offering.

The 800 MHz spectrum licenses cover “approximately 100 percent of the US population,” the Federal Communications Commission said in a July 2026

90 Patrick “Tate” Adamiak given clemency by President Trump.
'On Sept. 3, President Donald Trump granted the Navy veteran executive clemency, releasing him from prison and restoring his constitutional rights.'

_ATF convicted him on gun violations, - 20 yr in prison.
_The Supreme Court declined to review
_ATF reported seizing illegal firearms, including machine guns, and destructive devices
_Special agent Daniel Beasley described how he altered Adamiak’s non-firing replica STEN machine gun to fire live ammunition, ...Beasley had to install a firing mechanism and a real STEN barrel and then wrap part of the barrel in electrical tape to fire a single round, he stated in his report.

Calum Welch, one of Adamiak’s lawyers, said the ATF appeared to have investigated crimes that Adamiak could have committed.

I rescued Elvis when he was 6 months. He'd been in a couple different shelters and had signs of abuse. He was scared of his own shadow and till this day he can be skittish around new people but once he gets to know someone and understand they won't hurt him he's a big baby.

I work out of the house when I'm not on the road and he's my constant shadow. The scars never go away completely but they can fade.

Saijo will always be quirky from his background. He is a rescue from a breeders auction, Amish puppy mill puppy who lived his first 9 months in a crate, you know better than anyone how that seedy side works and how much it pains ethical breeders like y’all. He is an entirely different dog now than the one I started with, but he will always be…quirky. It’s okay, I love him to pieces anyway.

My BFFs went with me the day I got Elvis. My buddy drove my car so I could sit in back with Elvis. He was terrified. Walked around the house like he was afraid of doing anything wrong.

I then put him back in the car and took him to the park to run around. I think he thought I was going to drop him off somewhere. He looked miserable. Didn't even seem to enjoy the park either.

IF, BIG IF, he did have the incident in the grocery store with the black man, he will, indeed, lose his black voters if it comes out.

After all, as one Clancy woman fan said, saying the n word is far worse than murdering three children.

I was brought up in the Deepest of the South from childhood to never say that word. I still don't as my mother said it was only trashy ignorant people who said it and we were far from that. I was also half raised by black women.

Nor have I thought of murdering my children (one son asked, ha).

I did see red once when this same casanova son in college brought a girl to our home while we were out of town. She was tired from work and he lit candles around my big tub as evidence he stupidly left. I don't want to know what else went on.

He was very lucky we had the conversation on the phone and he was 2.5hrs away from me. That's the closest I came to losing it, and surprised I didn't stroke.

They still broke the law.

Michigan has an income tax. There is a movement to eliminate it. Let's say it happens.

Does it then follow that everyone who committed tax fraud while it was imposed should be released from prison?

Remember, the NFA was always a tax. It defined itself (and was upheld) as a use of Congress' taxing power, so those who broke it were committed tax evasion.

When the tax was reduced to zero, the regulatory side became moot. It does not necessarily follow that everyone who avoided its requirements and got caught should now go free.

The court held that the law is unenforceable as against SilencerCo. The admin will not appeal. The rationale for the ATF official announcement is that - I assume under the principles of equal protection and the recognition of the final judgment - they would easily be similarly enjoined as against all future plaintiffs similarly situated.

In addition, Congress set the taxes on the NFA items to zero, thereby removing the Constitutional authority for the enforcement of the NFA requirements.

Sure, I don't want to be the test case. But the situation is less dire than presented.

STATEMENT FROM MINNESOTA REPUBLICAN PARTY CHAIR ALEX PLECHASH

"Today, federal agents executed a judicially authorized search warrant at Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's home as part of an ongoing investigation.

Rather than issue our own statement, we'll defer to Rep. Omar. She said it best back in 2023, when the subject of a criminal investigation was someone else:

'Our democracy rests on the rule of law. When someone—no matter how powerful they are—is suspected of a criminal act, our justice system investigates, charges, and convicts them in accordance with due process.'

'Now it is up to all of us, as citizens and elected leaders, to support accountability and to follow the facts where they lead.'
'No one is above the law.'

We couldn't agree more, Congresswoman. We're sure you still feel the same way now that it's your front door. Minnesotans will be watching closely, and so will we."

226 Me too with the suffering animals.

I was depressed yesterday but am fine now. Ralphy needs to be lifted into the house from outside because he's missing steps. He bounces around and doesn't like that even though I carry him up and down steps in the house.

He can still get himself up, goes nuts for food and treats, occasionally chases the cat and I have him on pain pills. So this is just one more small change.

And since he's 40+ pounds, my thighs and butt are solid.

I had a cat that developed that issue - a weakness in the hips that she had to learn to walk again at 16 or 17. When I bought a house there were stairs in it and she always resented being helped up them. She lived to 20 and I knew she was giving up when she stopped trying to go up the steps between floors and onto the bed I had set up.

227 In an episode of Duck Dynasty, Uncle Si brought a standard Poodle with a French Cut to the duck hunt as a retriever.

I think they were originally hunting dogs, weren't they?

228 There was no doubt he was coming home. Lived out the rest of his life being the happiest dog you ever saw.

229 When the tax was reduced to zero, the regulatory side became moot. It does not necessarily follow that everyone who avoided its requirements and got caught should now go free.

Yes, actually, it does.

They committed what society now considers a non-crime, what society considers socially acceptable behavior, building a suppressor or rifle with a barrel that is 14.5" instead of the arbitrary 16", without paying the fee/tax/liberty fine/license (call it what you want) that society now considers not constitutionally worthy to assess.

230 194 The newest TikTok trend for young women who consider themselves feminist but can't go all the way to being lesbians is to secretly abort all male children as soon as you get a gender scan and just tell the husband it was a miscarriage.

What!!!!!!

I've heard this jabbered about, less sure it happens in real life. For one thing, this needs a feminist to have a boyfriend.

231 She actually became much healthier, more energetic, sleeker fur, and she is still doing well, but her digestion is just not that great and we figure that's what will do her in. She's 15, so she realistically isn't going to go on much longer. I'm thinking 1-2 years at most.

I put down lard for the older cats because hairballs are harder to dislodge the older a cat is. I also supplement the morning wet food with Taurine and Niacin, both of which are essential for cats, and harder to source as they get older.
The two old lady cats are 17 years old, and are still doing well.

I want to redo our wills and leave all the money not going to my son to a dog rescue. They do yeomen's work.

House OCiS just redid our wills. We included donations to animal rescue. I love animals more than I do most people and it really bothers me to see abused/neglected animals.
