All seriousness aside, and as much as I often find images and interesting things to comment on with abstract artworks, this one has . . . very little. There are occasional hints of color, but then long threads or strands are rather off-putting. Perhaps that was Pollock's intention. A day of two ago, we were discussing the negative impact of radical gays, especially Ts, on the general acceptance of gays and gay marriage. This article by a gay author explores that, and why the radical types are actually hurting gays. Here's the money quote:
If your goal is building lasting support for gay people, you might want to listen when gay people tell you you’re hurting the cause. But if your goal is merely virtue signaling to your fellow progressives, then gay people questioning you poses a threat. If you actually care about gay people and building or maintaining support for gay marriage, you’ll want to avoid unnecessarily polarizing people. You’ll want to build bridges, not burn them. But many activists are more concerned with appearing to care about gay people than actually caring about gay people. The thing about virtue signaling is there’s nothing virtuous about it. It’s deeply self-absorbed. It’s all about you and your status among your peer group. I couldn't have said it better myself. Oh wait, I said exactly this. The Pollock is an interesting curiosity. It shows more about the art culture in which it was created, than about art or human existence. Frankly, if I want to look at dazzling abstractions, any of the Galileo spacecraft's closeups of Jupiter's cloud formations are far more beautiful and far more complex than anything Pollock or his followers have created.

Multicultural French Music Festival Sees Hundreds of Arrests for Stabbings, Sex Assaults, Date Rape Druggings
- "Multicultural" sounds a lot better than "immigrant rape invasion". If you followed the link, you found this. France: At Least 145 Injected in Syringe Attacks During Multicultural Music Festival . . . . The festivities were also once again the site of numerous “evening bites”, a trend in which people are surreptitiously stabbed with syringes full of date rape drugs. According to Le Parisien, dozens of women came forward claiming to have been attacked in such a manner. While often associated with rape or sexual assault at music venues or nightclubs, the practice has also been tied to other crimes, such as theft. Indeed, one of the identified victims on Sunday evening was a man who said that he was stung near the Place de la République by a man who “was walking around with syringes on his belt”. - At least he didn't have a bandolier. Every time I hear the name Jackson Pollack, I think of this exchange in 'Play It Again, Sam:"
Allen: That's quite a lovely Jackson Pollock, isn't it? Woman: Yes, it is. Allen: What does it say to you? Woman: It restates the negativeness of the universe. The hideous lonely emptiness of existence. Nothingness. The predicament of man forced to live in a barren, godless eternity like a tiny flame flickering in an immense void with nothing but waste, horror, and degradation, forming a useless, bleak straitjacket in a black, absurd cosmos. Allen: What are you doing Saturday night? Woman: Committing suicide. Allen: What about Friday night? Posted by: Lady in Black at June 23, 2026 10:33 AM (qBdHI) 253
